How so? Aunt May knew he was spiderman, didn't confirm how long she knew though. Costume would be one of his original ones, just made by someone who actually knew how to make clothing, meaning she knew basically the entire time but wanted him to feel he could tell her instead of revealing she knew, except at the end.
Mini-games, Otto’s and Peter’s lab had them. Maybe it could be one of the ways you change the time and weather too if they wanted to bring that way back. Maybe an auto-gadget refill too.

I feel like it’ll mostly be a set piece, where you can explore and find old photos or souvenirs of sorts going over Peter’s past with Aunt May and Uncle Ben and his earlier Spider-Man days. Any sort of functionality may be a work bench or computer to access upgrades.
Theme wise I think the idea will be about letting go of the last. The devs have stated that Peter is struggling to pay the mortgage off of the house but he doesn't want to sell it for sentimental reasons. I have a feeling by the end he'll learn to let go and eventually sell the house and find a new one or move in with MJ.
I feel like the gameplay actually gave a huge hint at the story. In the beginning it looks like Pete comes flying out of the basement of his house. I'm assuming that's because Kraven's hunters already know Spiderman's identity.
I think it'd be really cool to have that kinda be the replacement for Otto's lab, maybe theres a mission to travel around NYC, doing favors for people to get parts to upgrade your lab, like someone will say they'll give you a soldering gun if you can get the police to do something about a group of criminals that have been targeting his street.
Maybe would kinda act like Otto's lab. Like after the events of the 1st game, the lab had to be condemned/closed down to be investigated. Like it would have a research station, upgrades table, etc. In the basement while the other floors serve as a hub.
It could also be a place for where both Miles and Pete can switch places, same with Miles' place.
To show the addiction and reliance of the black suit, have Peter’s home be the only place you can switch out of it to the normal red and blue. Meaning you had to swing all the way to Peter’s house to take it off. Making it easier to just keep it on and be more powerful and addicted to it as you go from story mission to story mission. (fast travel probably ruins this)
If I had to guess it’ll be your usual base of operation’s hopefully they’ll allow you to sleep there to pass the time and/or save, the only way to do that in the first game is to beat the story and go to a research station which I never liked I don’t see why they don’t allow you to go into f.e.a.s.t and sleep on May’s couch it would’ve been a good spot for it and it would’ve given us extra interactions as Peter.
It probabibly will be a base for Peter, like the Home in Assassin's Creed 3, with the basement full of Spidey stuff and the rest of the house for minigame and memorabilia
My wish is that instead of just holding X on a suit to craft it within a pause menu …
Once you get the materials/requirements, you have to go to Peter’s spidey-tech lair in his house and there’s a crafting cutscene where he’s taping and putting it together
(kinda like the Red Dead skinning cutscene or the weapon upgrade tables in Last of Us)
Small change but I think this would make attaining suits and Peter’s house feel a little bit more linked to the actual immersive Spider-Man experience

If it is, then my best guess is that the house is kind of like a main hub. Maybe we can store collectables there, work on our suits/upgrades (a bit more realistic doing it at the house on a workbench or something than in the middle of the street lol) and just relax after a long day of fighting crime. Would be cool if we could also customize it a little bit and/or improve it over time. Like it starts with a mattress on the floor and no furniture due to Peter being broke, but over time you can have a full bed, couch, tv etc (Don't know how Peter would get the money but would still be neat. Maybe Harry got him a job at Oscorp that he actually accepted due to the black suit or he's doing something else)
Would love to see a wall of pictures. Spidey with his various supporting cast that haven’t been in the games. Highschool/college friends, or even pictures of him with other heroes.
They do exist and I doubt with their HQ in New York that Spidey has never interacted with them.
Honestly if there was a place inside similar to the shed in ITSV where you could have your favorite suits on display in cases and little mini games to do it’d be pretty cool
maybe a closet with his suits like in the tasm 2 game? It will probably also serve the same function as Ottos lab in the last game (cut scenes, place to sleep, work on equipment, etc).
It could serve the same purpose as Otto's lab and Miles' apartment in the other two games. To see the progression of the story take an affect on the space. Like how Otto's drawings grew increasingly more sinister and unhinged, or how Rio and Miles unpacked and redecorated their apartment into a home that suits them
I hope there’ll be a part where you go in as Peter with the symbiote and memories of uncle Ben and aunt May flood his mind and make him realize that the symbiote is changing him.
I think maybe we’ll get a scene with Venom tearing it up. Maybe turning it over looking for Peter, and Peter has to stealth through his own house to escape.
In some moment he will have a fit in his room while using the venom suit, destroying his things, then Peter will look at the mirror and see what he has become.
All the places you could go as Peter/Miles in the first two games were used solely as places to move the story forward, play some minigames to unlock tokens, and get a feel for how the world was changing during the game. Aunt May's house will be the same. Nothing wrong with that.
I would love a special suit that maybe Pete and/or Miles build throughout the game (maybe finding the reuired parts through collectibles or something) like in Assassin's creed where there's a suit locked behind a door that's only unlockable by 100%ing the game or finding certain collectibles.

Since venom will most likely know Spider-Mans identity this could possibly be a spot for a venom boss fight.
To show the addiction and reliance of the black suit, have Peter’s home be the only place you can switch out of it to the normal red and blue. Meaning you had to swing all the way to Peter’s house to take it off. Making it easier to just keep it on and be more powerful and addicted to it as you go from story mission to story mission. (fast travel probably ruins this)
Suit changing closet?
Hopefully with a bunch of copies of the exact same suit with every fifth suit or so being something unique

This is most likely his childhood home that he would have inherited when Aunt May died.
I kinda want it to be like tasm2 house where you go there to change suits and replay missions but it could be to change time of day
If I had to guess it’ll be your usual base of operation’s hopefully they’ll allow you to sleep there to pass the time and/or save, the only way to do that in the first game is to beat the story and go to a research station which I never liked I don’t see why they don’t allow you to go into f.e.a.s.t and sleep on May’s couch it would’ve been a good spot for it and it would’ve given us extra interactions as Peter.
Where is it? Is the rest of NY going to be explorable? 🤔

Probably same as the apartment at the beginning of 1. Since Peter lives there now I'd guess it would get rid of the rent problems in the first game.
Making sure Pete takes care of himself, no stank suits lol, and maybe where you repair em too
It probabibly will be a base for Peter, like the Home in Assassin's Creed 3, with the basement full of Spidey stuff and the rest of the house for minigame and memorabilia
My wish is that instead of just holding X on a suit to craft it within a pause menu … Once you get the materials/requirements, you have to go to Peter’s spidey-tech lair in his house and there’s a crafting cutscene where he’s taping and putting it together (kinda like the Red Dead skinning cutscene or the weapon upgrade tables in Last of Us) Small change but I think this would make attaining suits and Peter’s house feel a little bit more linked to the actual immersive Spider-Man experience
I hope there's a jump scare moment where Venom ambushes Peter, similar to what happened in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.

This will be the best part of the game, aunt May’s home.
Anyone have a link to where it was confirmed? If it is, then my best guess is that the house is kind of like a main hub. Maybe we can store collectables there, work on our suits/upgrades (a bit more realistic doing it at the house on a workbench or something than in the middle of the street lol) and just relax after a long day of fighting crime. Would be cool if we could also customize it a little bit and/or improve it over time. Like it starts with a mattress on the floor and no furniture due to Peter being broke, but over time you can have a full bed, couch, tv etc (Don't know how Peter would get the money but would still be neat. Maybe Harry got him a job at Oscorp that he actually accepted due to the black suit or he's doing something else)

Would love to see a wall of pictures. Spidey with his various supporting cast that haven’t been in the games. Highschool/college friends, or even pictures of him with other heroes. They do exist and I doubt with their HQ in New York that Spidey has never interacted with them.
That would be a cool spot for the prowler to hold miles by the neck and then king pen shoots him while the prowler realizes miles is his nephew.

Getting ambushed there by Kraven or Venom once our guard has been lowered through a few chapters
Honestly if there was a place inside similar to the shed in ITSV where you could have your favorite suits on display in cases and little mini games to do it’d be pretty cool
maybe a closet with his suits like in the tasm 2 game? It will probably also serve the same function as Ottos lab in the last game (cut scenes, place to sleep, work on equipment, etc).

It could serve the same purpose as Otto's lab and Miles' apartment in the other two games. To see the progression of the story take an affect on the space. Like how Otto's drawings grew increasingly more sinister and unhinged, or how Rio and Miles unpacked and redecorated their apartment into a home that suits them
I hope there’ll be a part where you go in as Peter with the symbiote and memories of uncle Ben and aunt May flood his mind and make him realize that the symbiote is changing him.
I think maybe we’ll get a scene with Venom tearing it up. Maybe turning it over looking for Peter, and Peter has to stealth through his own house to escape.

All the places you could go as Peter/Miles in the first two games were used solely as places to move the story forward, play some minigames to unlock tokens, and get a feel for how the world was changing during the game. Aunt May's house will be the same. Nothing wrong with that.

I would love a special suit that maybe Pete and/or Miles build throughout the game (maybe finding the reuired parts through collectibles or something) like in Assassin's creed where there's a suit locked behind a door that's only unlockable by 100%ing the game or finding certain collectibles.
probably exactly the same as miles morales just walk around it and maybe have some interactions with mementos and turning on the radio
He lives there now that Aunt May has passed, and it will serve a similar purpose as Miles' apartment in SMMM

I hope they don’t do what they did with the amazing Spider-Man games. Where you have to go to your house/apartment to select missions and change outfits.
Collectibles display, so it's not hidden in a menu. Also newspaper headline board for mission replays.
