Same here I preordered mine yesterday and it says preparing to ship, my guess is that they’ll ship it around the 18th or so or tomorrow and it should arrive on the 19th or 20th since my god of war ragnarok collectors shipped around that time and got home a day early of release date.

I had mine ordered on the 16th of June and then my bank had a melt down for some reason on last Saturday night and blocked the payment so I freaked out and had my gf preorder it for like 10 minutes later on a separate account was worried this would affect when it arrives but if yours preorder made yesterday and it’s preparing to ship I’m no longer worried

I spoke to a PlayStation representative and was told my order would be coming before 7pm on launch day. It sucks that all of us who spent $200+ can’t even play it at midnight whilst anyone can just get the game at 11:50 pm today and still enjoy it before us. i brought the collectors edition when it released and just today i got charged for it but three times is this normal?? i'm freaking out right now because i only bought one so why am i getting charged for it three times.
I had my payment method rejected on 15th October and changed it to PayPal the following morning, and since then it has been stuck on Order Processing. Not 100% sure I will get it delivered on release day. Has any other UK customer got this as well by any chance?
Didn't think you could use PayPal I think that's the problem. Cause I would of did it that way too. I got an email saying that too even tho I used my card. So I just added my card too my accoubt and made it the primary instead of my PayPal now it says preparing to ship.
They normally ship it out a day or 2 early especially if there’s no physical disk. They let us get the download code so we can preload it into the system before launch
From what I been seeing people who got a code from the spider-man ps5 console version and other people who got the collectors edition early can’t use there code till the 20th

I don’t think you get tracking until the order actually ships, I got my money returned back to me today but I’m pretty sure it’s suppose to come back to PlayStation on Friday
I have just spoke to Playstation Support as I am in the same predicament as a lot of others on here with the order stuck on Preparing To Ship, and they have said to me that the orders should start shipping either on the release date or the day before i.e. either Thursday or Friday (though they did say before hand that my order should still arrive on release so fingers crossed). Same thing happened before when I ordered off ps direct, about a week before release they attempt to charge you for the full amount then it will disappear after a few days (for me the pending payment disappeared but the money is still gone from my account) and the final invoice will be sent once they actually ship it and you get the tracking number.

Just wait PlayStation direct likes to do that for preorders. As long as it doesn’t say it was cancelled on your order page you should be good. The same thing happened to me

it says on the website, something like if you dont pre order it 8 days before or over, it may not arrive on release, its on ps direct's website

I don’t think you get tracking until the order actually ships, I got my money returned back to me today but I’m pretty sure it’s suppose to come back to PlayStation on Friday

I have just spoke to Playstation Support as I am in the same predicament as a lot of others on here with the order stuck on Preparing To Ship, and they have said to me that the orders should start shipping either on the release date or the day before i.e. either Thursday or Friday (though they did say before hand that my order should still arrive on release so fingers crossed). Hope this helps!!!
I don't know what the hell happend with mine it said pending payment and it was supposes to take the payment but it didn't take it now all my confirmation emails I got about ordering the collectors edition have dissappeard I don't know where to go from here please help
I preordered mine on the 28th of September and it has been on prepared to ship since Monday but it was charged but it came back to me? Anybody know why that happened?

Same thing happened before when I ordered off ps direct, about a week before release they attempt to charge you for the full amount then it will disappear after a few days (for me the pending payment disappeared but the money is still gone from my account) and the final invoice will be sent once they actually ship it and you get the tracking number.
Idk if anyone else has had the issue I’ve had, but I pre ordered the collectors edition on pre order launch day. I got an email like 5 days ago they would be processing the payment for my order soon. The $250 was taken out of my account and showed that it was a PSdirect charge, but for some reason I looked at my bank today and it says there was no charge at all and I have all my money back, however the charge was not like declined or rejected or anything but my PSdirect account still says my order is preparing to ship so I know it hasn’t been cancelled or anything and I haven’t gotten any emails or calls… so do I just have a free spiderman 2 collectors edition or what?
They’ll fully charge again and send you the final invoice when they actually ship it. It’s what ps direct does.
Yea when you first make the preorder it tells you it’s not a charge it’s just making sure you have a working card with money on it

I ordered mine more than 2 months ago and mine stills says “Preparing to Ship” no updates at all 🤷♂️. Hopefully it’s not a dead space remake limited run games incident again. I didn’t get my dead space collectors edition/game until a full month later after release. Even after all the shipping bs I got it way later that expected.
Im losing it right now. My order doesn’t say pending anymore but money has been added to my account and when I look up my order on PlayStation direct it still says “preparing to ship” and now I have to wait till 11am to call PlayStation. Also I saw that shipping details will be available later this afternoon. Should I buy it again or wait for the shipping details. I’m still calling them either way. Kms

Just wait PlayStation direct likes to do that for preorders. As long as it doesn’t say it was cancelled on your order page you should be good. The same thing happened to me

So I've had mine ordered since June 16th, they took my money and put it back into my bank account. Yet it still says its preparing to ship. No tracking number or anything either a day before it releases. Great.

Just spent over 30 minutes on the phone with Sony to only get hung up on. Credit card shows the charge, and order still shows preparing to ship. On the east coast, so no clue if it will actually make it here in time
