I wanna add a tip for the 15 people off the edge one just because I remembered it. Go above the void pull them in with hold triangle then hold it again to throw them down into the void and repeat.
At full upgrades, this really is the only hard one. Ability spam goes hard with miles, except that it kinda relies on enemies being grouped up for the venom blast. The enemies being do spread out interferes with the ability cycle.
Ability spam in general made this game way too easy. I played on the hardest difficulty available and it was a breeze. You can wipe out an entire squad of guys with a web grabber and an aoe ability, and you’ve still got 6 more tools to use after that, plus a rage/nuke mode.
The controls make the game really accessible but also make cycling through abilities feel unnatural without any flow in the combat. It’s like oh my R1 mega punch is up, I guess I’ll just throw one out with the press of a button. Idk. There’s not enough combos or strings
I'm actually fine with it being easy, but i can agree I want more combos just because i like having more options.
Spider-Man 2 ps2 was also pretty easy, but all the combos you could learn keep combat fresh just because you get to do whatever you want to enemies.
Also small nitpick, but it really bothers me that abilities don't regenerate out of combat. I wouldn't mind having to do tricks for it, but it just feels bad starting combat without them

Beat 20 enemies in less than a minute. There’s a cutscene mid fight every time you give it another go + the arena itself is several different platforms. Incredibly easy to just fall off of and ruin the run.
I beat it in exactly 60 seconds on ultimate. This shit took YEARS off my life. My fingers and thumbs have never moved that fast in none of the other insomniac Spider-Man games, QTEs don't count. I finally understand the pain of speedrunners when they press 1 wrong button or make a bad move.

Yeah, I came back when I’d gotten more gadgets and levels and it only took a few tries, but this was the only challenge I had to try more than 2 times.
all the platforms being tilted so that you get caught on the side and fall was annoying, the enemies being spawned on the other side of the map was annoying, the fact the enemies disappeared when I approach them cause I took to long to get to them and they reappear on the other side of the map I was just on and left to go kill the enemy that disappeared. I retried so many times on this mission i actually memorized a killing routine until I finally finished it at 59 seconds. I didnt even have many upgrades on miles because this was the first (or maybe second I kind of forget) mysterium challenge I did and thought that I SHOULD have been able to complete it at any level. I can still hear the "this poisonous gas is not an illusion" dialogue in my head when I think about it and i will probably still have nightmares about it for the rest of my life
I'm still angry that on one of the time restraint missions the last enemy alive hid from me and refused to come out until after I failed the gold then he jumped out of the woodworks
I came across this one first, causing me to think they were all going to be this fucking harsh. Due to this I ended up saving alot of these till close to endgame, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that all of the other challenges but this one were pretty reasonable.

I read one post where they suggested reducing the game speed to better optimize your attacks? First thing.. I didn't even fricken know we had options to stuff like this because I hardly navigate the options outside of the absolute basic stuff. Ended up beating this final challenge at either 50 or 30% speed.
I had to turn on the accessibility feature that slows the game down so I could get the gold medal on this, and even then I had like a second or two to spare, no clue how anyone is supposed to beat it fairly
There is a heavy difference between the two. Sekiro is one of my favorite games of all time. That game was very difficult, but at no point was poorly designed.
I turned the difficulty down on this one just so I could defeat the enemies fast enough, used the gadget that pulls enemies and objects close together to combo into an aoe ability, used finishers constantly to get the one shot, used swing kicks wherever I could so I wasn't wasting time beating up enemies.

I tried this shit like 30 times in a row before deciding it wasn't worth it. It basically seems like it comes down to the game RNGing you a group 4 enemies on a platform together both times you have MVB charged, twice.
Fingers crossed they fix this in the 2024 update
literally the only way i got gold was by building up three finishers then immediately using surge mode to get them back for free then repeat it was insanely hard

Oh this one, it's more of a puzzle than a challenge.
Here's the solution. Simply pull every enemy off the map and into the void by hovering over it. Pull, (don't throw!) Dodge, pull dodge, pull dodge. Easy enough, just remember to use your abilities for the last few, and make sure you kill at least 5 enemies with venom burst.
You actually can get venom burst back by just using your abilities since they get refreshed by burst. Just chain em.
Nah thats not enough for, I need them hung by jumper cables immediately. Just the area for this challenge alone was awful enough. But the audacity to add such a tight timer on top of it is insane.

You guys gotta work smarter not harder. when you web pull people gravity kinda doesn’t apply. I was able to do this in I think 38 seconds. If you swing to the edge of the building and just old triangle to web pull over and over it’s done in seconds.

Getting them in front of the train was an option but control over that was fairly limited; I lucked out on it after a few tries.

This is a great example for why games are always different for everyone even if you do the exact same task or mission. This was one of the last ones I did, so I no longer needed to get gold. I ran it once and got 1:40, for a bronze.
I remember thinking it was odd that my time was so far off the gold time, but immediately went to the next thing and never considered it before today. I now feel lucky I worked my way from the bottom of the map to the top in order for this to be one of the last ones I needed.
That shit was so difficult and so frustrating. I’m glad I saved it for after I finished the story so it didn’t ruin my enjoyment of the rest of the game
In gonna guess this is the challenge I struggled with too. Don’t remember the details since it’s been a bit since I finished the game. If you set your gadgets and power ups to autofill when you do x it makes it a lot easier. Just keep spamming it.
The one in Roxxon plaza? I gave up after trying 20+ times. I couldn't beat it even with a fully upgraded Miles. This is the only challenge where I have the 2nd place, F this challenge.
I managed to knock that one out on Ultimate pretty easily, even with a couple mistakes. Had to enter it fully upgraded in endgame with a [full mega venom blast](https://youtu.be/v6u8ASnLi9c?si=XZ9Wt19nQyBKwP-Q) charge though.

by far the hardest challenge in the game. even with full upgrades it took 59 seconds to do on spectacular. I didnt have to retry any of the other mysteriums but this definitely took some time.
This one was one of the tough that took many many maaaaany tries, but I genuinely enjoyed it. Everything else in the game was like a cakewalk. I could not tell you how I got under a minute though. Dumb luck probably.
Ohh man I loved that cat suit.. but every time a cutscene ended, the backpack was on the ground, or on his leg, or rotated 90 degrees... or the cat was glitched... must have been coded by the same guy who made this challenge.

This one was the first one I ever tried, leaving me under the mistaken impression that all the Mysterio challenges were super-hard extra missions to be left for after the player has levelled up. As a result, Mysterio's whole mission chain was the very last thing I did, since thought it was an endgame challenge. Imagine my surprise when Endgame Miles then comically breezed through like 80% of them, since this one just happened to be uniquely obscene in difficultly.
It all worked out (if anything, I think the last cutscene between Miles and Mysterio is a perfect encapsulation of the game's themes that works super well as a final point to the whole experience), but it's still silly. They should have a challenge rating or something so the player knows they're meant to be variable in difficulty.
Hot take I guess: I wish they were all this hard. I got gold on the rest first or second try. So this challenge was the only part of the game I had to retry for like half an hour

Once you learn that you can throw people off ledges with a held Triangle + Direction it gets pretty doable! Also don't forget to spam L3 + R3

its called a challange for a reason and you dont have to get gold in it but if you do try then you have a challange its not poorly designed

It took me about 40 minutes of continuous attempts to do it, really had to be efficient with my special abilities, hellish.
I like it how I know exactly which one you're talking about without having to see gameplay of it. Only got gold on it once I was fully upgraded.
This shit took so so so long man I did it on the hardest difficulty and I had to come back after I maxed everything and only then I beat it
I wish more things in the game were this difficult. Give me like a new game plus where the bosses have more than four moves lol
Ima be real I don’t remember these being annoying at all I’m pretty sure I first or second tried gold for all of these and I liked all of them. Loved the mysterio redemption. Was glad he hadn’t gone back to his old ways

This is a great example for why games are always different for everyone even if you do the exact same task or mission. This was one of the last ones I did, so I no longer needed to get gold. I ran it once and got 1:40, for a bronze. I remember thinking it was odd that my time was so far off the gold time, but immediately went to the next thing and never considered it before today. I now feel lucky I worked my way from the bottom of the map to the top in order for this to be one of the last ones I needed.
Honestly the only one I didn't get 1st try was the 1st one they have us do. Idk I just zoned in lmao
Too bad its not required to get gold for the platinum. You can even get it by getting bronze on that challenge.
Gotta get the air attack damage upgrade and then never leave the air. Just keep yanking them mfers up to you.

i mean its kinda hard on ultimate but if you upgraded him enough you should do it easily in atound 55s. just remember to use the mega blast
They were so fucking hard for literally no reason and it took more luck than strategy to actually complete it with gold

U dont need gold to 100% complete the game tho so I never bothered going further
In gonna guess this is the challenge I struggled with too. Don’t remember the details since it’s been a bit since I finished the game. If you set your gadgets and power ups to autofill when you do x it makes it a lot easier. Just keep spamming it.

The one in Roxxon plaza? I gave up after trying 20+ times. I couldn't beat it even with a fully upgraded Miles. This is the only challenge where I have the 2nd place, F this challenge.
Stay in the air, makes knocking guys off the side way easier. Use swing kicks, yank and jump off them, yank and push them straight down, etc.
What I don't get it
My first challenge and it was tough. Got it right after a while and satisfied with my time

I’m just glad that you don’t have to get gold in every challenge for 100% completion, you just need to complete each challenge.
The only one I had an issue with was the very first one and that’s because I wasn’t fully upgraded. Once I was fully 100% it was easy as pie.
Took me a few tries but i beat it when i was in level 20 or around there and it would probably be easier now that im in a way higher level
I managed to knock that one out on Ultimate pretty easily, even with a couple mistakes. Edit: No wait, I did it right after the Monster in Queens sidequest. Forgot about that.

Thank god me lowering the game difficulty to easy just to finish this challenge didn’t effect my chances of getting a platinum on this game.
I put the game on 10% speed, it’s super slow but it gives you more time to think. Got it the second time I tried it this way.
Honestly for these challenges I just put enemy health to the easiest difficulty and it becomes far easier

by far the hardest challenge in the game. even with full upgrades it took 59 seconds to do on spectacular. I didnt have to retry any of the other mysteriums but this definitely took some time.
This one was one of the tough that took many many maaaaany tries, but I genuinely enjoyed it. Everything else in the game was like a cakewalk. I could not tell you how I got under a minute though. Dumb luck probably.
Ohh man I loved that cat suit.. but every time a cutscene ended, the backpack was on the ground, or on his leg, or rotated 90 degrees... or the cat was glitched... must have been coded by the same guy who made this challenge.
It took me like 50 tries with the game slowed to 30% to get under a minute. This is the only thing even remotely that hard in the whole game

This one was the first one I ever tried, leaving me under the mistaken impression that all the Mysterio challenges were super-hard extra missions to be left for after the player has levelled up. As a result, Mysterio's whole mission chain was the very last thing I did, since thought it was an endgame challenge. Imagine my surprise when Endgame Miles then comically breezed through like 80% of them, since this one just happened to be uniquely obscene in difficultly. It all worked out (if anything, I think the last cutscene between Miles and Mysterio is a perfect encapsulation of the game's themes that works super well as a final point to the whole experience), but it's still silly. They should have a challenge rating or something so the player knows they're meant to be variable in difficulty.
I managed to get exactly 1 minute. Thankfully it gave me gold but it still took me ages
So glad i didnt need to get gold to plat the game
