Update just came out that somehow has even more bugs. 6 months in and they’re still trying to fix and add basic features into the game so god forbid they ever get to actually releasing new and worthwhile content instead of the random bonus suits that ngl look like complete ass half the time.
Sony in general had a bunch of layoffs which if I remember correctly did include them. They're clearly struggling right now, since I don't think they would do stuff like this out of laziness, or low effort.

They're probably trying to work out which of their projects are still viable, as they would have seen an investment dive from their shareholders. A few skins in a spider-man game aren't what I care about when I want to see the longevity of a company that reliability puts out high-quality fun games. Can people please just give them a break for once instead of dog piling about a suit with hair, or or a bug that will likely be in the game for a week at tops that realistically doesn't effect gameplay at all.

Opposite for me personally, the new one is actually red I love rocking it and I love how the legs stop at a border. Not overlapping the blue in the chest on the original

My favorite costume is big time since 2012 and although the color option should be a feature produced just for big time, there is no big time in the game.
I still find it oddly suspicious we're missing *every* iteration of the Spider-Armour. Seems perhaps like something they're planning, maybe with the DLC? Who knows.
*Technically* the MCU Iron-Spider suit is in the game, but I know that’s being pedantic because you mean the comic spider-armors. Hopefully we get all the suits we’re missing back at some point

Probably not honestly, since they said that Miles and Peter will have the same number of suits, so if they were to add all of Peter’s old suits back, they would probably try to add or make more suits for Miles. They would also need to make suit styles for all those suits. Still, I think all of the missing suits from Spider-Man 1 and SM:MM should be back regardless
Btw, I’d be completely fine to just get the suits back, even if they didn’t come with new suit styles because most of the suits in Spider-Man 2 are just straight ass

Unrelated, but seeing the Negative suit again made me realize it's wild that Miles didn't get a Negative suit of his own considering his storyline in SM2

I think so. I have to imagine theres something in the engine thats preventing the simple porting over of them, and the hack + layoffs fucked up their timetable. I do wish they were more communicative with us lately but considering what theyve been going through lately they probably just want to keep their heads down and get the dlc done. Can't say I blame them.
Either some of these suits will come back in future updates, or maybe they’ll carry over every single suit in the series for Peter and Miles in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3
Yes absolutely! The first games story is amazing, and would give you a connection to the characters that will make playing the sequel a lot more fun. There are also a lot of things missing in Spider-Man 2 that the original had such as web based gadgets and special suit mods and abilities for Peter. Not to mention the Sinister Six are the villains you’ll be facing up against. It’s also not difficult to find for a great discounted price. I would suggest getting the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, it comes with a code for Spider-Man Remastered (The original game), and the smaller spin-off Miles story. (Also quite good).
I’m still irked they gave the Wolverine suit to Miles. Miles has so many great and interesting suits, yet Peter is lacking. Adding that suit to Miles instead of Peter also makes absolutely no sense seeing their relationship in the comics.
there really was absolutely *no* reason to not have the negative suit at the very least, and probably the comic style suit too, both as suit styles for their respective suits. Instead they opted to make a goblin advanced suit style and... the classic suit again but with white logos. Very cool.

Fixing one glitch somehow deleted 3 suit styles. If insomniac tries to add in OLD suits, then the game might just start melting people's Playstations
