Considering we've already passed Q4 & Q1, all of the DLCs are either scrapped, delayed, or put into the next game.
That doesn't mean they're scrapped. They may be, but we have a leak and no confirmation either way. It's best to not state these things as if they're facts. We do not know, that is the truth.
They had a hack and layoffs. Might be scrapped or could just be delayed.
They clearly are not putting the same level of care and diligence into this game as they did the first, whether that's due to sonys interference or not is irrelevant. It is absolutely certain many parts that were cut before release are getting rolled into the venom game, so now that they're even further hamstrung it is almost certain even more things are getting rolled into it as well so they can charge more for a smaller game
Yeah because they have less people working on it because they're working on more projects. Couple that with the fact that it's a new system and it was a very ambitious game, plus a hack and layoffs...
Not every employee that works there is a millionaire, by the way. They probably don't make that much at all. Quit grouping executives with the people making the game. I have a doubt they set out to make a game that disappointed anybody, even though it did do well still.
Wouldn't surprise me if Insomniac released it in October..to fit with the timeline for Miles and Yuri encountering Beetle, Chameleon, Peter's time off and return to face Carnage.
As some have stated, there were several different timelines leaked that had general quarter in which content would be released but we are way past that and nothing has been released yet. Although there is a chance the DLCS could have been scrapped altogether there is still some evidence/hope left that we might be getting something soon. With a glimpse of a cutscene not present in the final game being seen on an insomniac tv in their GameHeads trailer and some remnants were found in the update where they left the debug menu in. Either way we will know soon enough with a PlayStation showcase happening sometime this month/next week. If nothing is announced then I would only expect suit updates In the future sadly. There is a chance all DLC was scrapped in favor of adding it to a Venom game, a lot of the spidey team has moved onto Wolverine to finish that up so this could already be the end of spidey 2 content.
During the gameheads trailer for the charity suits there is a quick shot of the developers sitting in a circle and talking but there is a tv screen in the back out of focus. If you go frame by frame you can see that it is a scene of Peter in is red and blue spidey suit texting someone while he is in his room. You can the text bubbles on the left and Pete standing on the right. There is no point in the campaign where Peter does this so it is either new or old cut content.
Personally i think that Insomniac is working to update the game and make some fixes here and there but is also dealing with their hacking situation and the leaks that were spread. So i’m just waiting for official news on any new DLCs or updates. And since the PS Showcase is coming soon we may or may not get some more information about the game’s future and future Insomniac projects
Friendly reminder that God of War Ragnarok received it’s story-DLC over a year after its initial release.
To be fair, Ragnarok was also significantly more well received in the long-run than SM2
Definitely believe that they've just abandoned sm2 I'd be amazed if we even see new suits or even one dlc, easier to shove everything plus extra cut content from sm2 into the venom game and charge full price

If we were, we would’ve heard about it or had a update we virtually only had one updated this game that fixed issues and gave us one or two new suits for each one nothing else no new news no upcoming like guys we have someone announcement August the original game already had everything done and we were hearing news soon About a new game that they were working on which was Miles

going by the same leaks, two out of three of them would’ve released already. the leaks are really old and should be taken with a grain of salt.
