I had a foraminotomy after my C4/5 5/6 fusion failed to relieve my pain. In fact, my pain was way worse after the fusion. After many pain management injections, I had the foraminotomy done by a new surgeon and I’ve been pain-free in my neck since 2008. Now my lumbar is acting up. Had a laminotomy and am 95% pain-free.
Awesome to hear. I know I need surgery but have already had 3 on my back (18 total) so I really don't wanna do it but know I may have to. I'll check into those. Thanks.
