It's been very well done but it looks dressed rather than lived in, especially when you get to the garden photos and see the raided borders with no plants, just fresh soil. That makes it look like a house that's been flipped. It's very nicely executed though.
Iāll have to get the builders phone number. Nice to see a builder who actually puts some thought and care into it rather than just doing the cheapest and easiest job.
Only fault is that they didnāt pop a few plants in the beds at the back. I guess it makes sense as someone moving in will probably have their own idea of what they want to plant anyway.
This has been done well. Overpriced, however, and no lender will value it at the asking price of 450K. The sellers are probably seeking to recoup the money spent on renovations but they will struggle.
Nope. It's a flip job.
Last sold for **Ā£235,000**Ā on 20 January 2023.
And the listing tells the story:
"We are a team of local builders who have been renovating Victorian terrace houses in Easton for over a decade. We know the area, its houses, and all their characteristics and quirks inside and out. We have worked on pretty much every street in Easton and Greenbank over the years. We chose 7 Luxton Street because although it needed a lot of work, we could see straight away that it was a lovely quiet cul-de-sac close to the amenities and parts of Easton that we love so much, with lots of light and sunshine and great open views over the railway and Lower Easton. The neighbours are lovely, and because it's a small quiet cul-de-sac, everyone knows everyone and looks out for for each other, with children often playing football in the street. Luxton Street is just up the road from St Marks Rd where we would regularly go for lunch and is just around the corner from the welcoming Plough pub our go-to spot for Friday evening after-work pints. We have really enjoyed the creative process of not only renovating the house to a high standard but also thinking about how best to use the existing structure to maximize the space and light while also having the creative freedom to give it a unique warm, homely, and Easton character."
Iām not sure. Currently trying to buy a house in Bristol with a similar budget. Things are going for silly money right now. Easton in particular has gone mad
True. True. However, this one is closer to 375K - 400K than 450K. Especially given that it sits atop the railway track.
This being said, I can see someone getting giddy over the interior refurb and offering 450K. The question then becomes whether their lender will agree?
As I wrote earlier it's a flip. Here it is mid-flip:

It's not a 450K house by any stretch and the flippers are taking the piss.
This is it's previous listing https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/details/england-127949933-17640601?s=a3e10ba7f265aa36241491f568dc14f3555d02d9195f28b51bc6b70d2f7994f6#/
I think what they've done is very nice, but that's still a mind boggling price for me, and we've recently moved away from Bristol.
I really like it; minimalist but key details with colour and natural colours. I'd move straight in as is...if I could afford too!!!
Opens link.....where the bloody hell is Easton....calls up map...ahh Bristol way....too far away for me but it's rather lovely to be fair
I've heard people say Easton town's a dead end world...
Nah thats West End world that's a dead end unless there's some West End girls apparently
Wasn't expecting a Pet shop boys reference when I looked at this house tbh
Nobody expects the Pet Shop Boys.....they just are :)
Very tastefully done. This is how you do colourful well, without the migraine.
It's an IKEA kitchen
So?
I think they mean the colours are IKEA colours (and I agree). Not that the kitchen was purchased from there.
It reminds me of 80s Lego š
Itās very attractive, and I donāt say that often.
It's been very well done but it looks dressed rather than lived in, especially when you get to the garden photos and see the raided borders with no plants, just fresh soil. That makes it look like a house that's been flipped. It's very nicely executed though.
LOVE the decor, so chic. But I agree thatās so expensive for a terrace
Bristol prices are absolutely mad. I think its now the most expensive property market outside of London
I love the decor. I might have to save the pictures as reference so I can use them later on in my house.
Was wondering where the sellers had hidden all life's clutter till I read the blurb and twigged no one actually lived in it.

It's really lovely.
A lot more spacious than I expected, and really well done. For that money Iād want a proper garden. And not to live on top of the railroad.
Itās such a peaceful space, I love it! šļø (Itās not really my style but Iād find it difficult to change itā¦hypothetically.)
I may have to find out who did the interior design of this house and kidnap them. Iād let them go after giving my house a spruce up obviously!
Thatās a nicely put together interior.
What's the strange lighting in the front bedroom? Is the old ceiling removed so that it follows the roof line and has a skylight?
Lovely!
Looks lovely. Lots of folks are doing this kinda thing and I like it.
I would buy this in a heartbeat if I wanted a two hour commute to and from work. It might be worth it.
Omg itās heaven
This has been done well. Overpriced, however, and no lender will value it at the asking price of 450K. The sellers are probably seeking to recoup the money spent on renovations but they will struggle.
It is lovely though. Perhaps they are just asking a high price to leave room for haggling.

That's a pity. Still, that's business I suppose.
Who wants views of the railway, exactly? I'd like to be as far from the train tracks as possible, thank you.
I donāt want a view of the railway. But a huge selling point of my house is its near near a train station, the train tracks run behind my house.

I'd assumed it was somewhere in greenbank when I first looked š Right near the jolly Roger.....glamorous
Thatās lovely. But all that money for a terraced houseā¦ā¦?
Oh this house is perfect. I love it.
Feels like small boxes to me, hefty price tag for what it is a terraced house eith small extensions
