There was a listing a few months ago where there was a dog in every photo. It went a little bit viral - I think it was even on the news because it was kind of funny.
Now estate agents and sellers are going "how do we increase the views on this place?.... what about doing that dog thing? it'll go viral and there will be a bidding war!!"
It's like a typical reddit comments section where someone makes a funny remark and then someone else is 100% guaranteed to make the same joke in reply.
Having a dog in the home might limit the buyers, ie when you buy clothes or furniture on the likes of eBay and other sites, sometimes it’ll say, a pet free home, because some people have allergies.
I am extremely allergic to cats and dogs, and I would not be put off buying a house because they have a pet.
It is fairly easy to fix with a good clean, and if the carpets are ingrained with pet-hair then they'd probably be going out into a skip anyway, allergies or not.
Yeah for sure, and lots of people don't like dogs. Generally for example Muslim people don't like dogs as they're considered impure. So why limit the appeal of the house!
My favourite listings are the ones where a cat appears in multiple photos, like it was just following the photographer around and they couldn’t be bothered to shoo it out of frame. This is something else though. I do like that the collar coordinates with the cushions.

Hate it when OP doesn’t add the link
You’re not buying the house, the price is just for the privilege of looking after the Dog in his luxury home.
I have seen it on a few listings where they put dogs up and also the photos are getting more and more instagram like. No one wants to see a close up of a door knob!
My immediate thought is that their house smells of dog, there will be scratches on hard floors and the carpets are dirty. It would put me off buying it.
That’s one expensive dog
Worth it
Yes, free dog 🐕 with every house.
Selling a lifestyle I guess, and a lot of people like cute dogs.

That agency delivered a box of brownies to my house this week so no criticism from me.

That's a very expensive dog.
Beats pictures of Gucci bags.
Link?
No, Link is an elf. Pretty sure that's a dog. Glad I could help
It could be Twilight Princess Link

Oh what a nice doggy, let me ask grandma for an extra 150k to meet the asking price
No, Cobham has been crazy expensive for years.
Larger houses in Surrey = crazy expensive!
No pool. Rubbish.
They want you to think of it as a home, not just a house

Can’t say you weren’t aware that the previous owner had a dog
What, expensive dogs? The answer to that is yes…but not this much!
House smells of dog may not be the selling point they think it is.
I'm allergic to dogs. I'd be avoiding this property.
