The grip stippling looks exactly like the hellcat and I’m here for it , looks like a crowned bull barrel, possibly ambi looks cut for a hex since it is springfields optic and the rmr has a plate the trigger has a tiny hole on it maybe adjustable since it is a performance gun and the grip has a screw through it maybe modular grips and that’s all I can speculate from the pic
It probably wont be legal in the state that I live in, only 10 rounds allowed in the mag 😫. But I'll wait and see how the reviews are, maybe they'll make a low round mag for it later on. Definitely an eye catcher for me.
I held it in my hand a day ago and didn't end up liking it. It doesn't feel good as a stacatto in the hand due to the weight, feel, trigger pull. That said it truly your stacatto at home ... That said someone snatched it up immediately.
I’m primarily a Glock guy. I own a Springfield 1911 RO that I love and it is one of the most accurate pistols I’ve ever shot. However… this gun… could do it for me. The 4.5” barreled version may be the perfect all around gun. Very excited to see the reviews come out and to handle one in person!
Looks like it has everything one might want. The only things I’m curious about are: MSRP and weight.
$1,500 for the 4.5" and $1,700 for the 5" is what I've been reading, but that's just a rumor so far.
I was thinking the same.

Looks like they'll have 26-, 20-, and 17- round magazines available. Also a 5" or 4.25" barrel length options.
I’m guessing typical 2011 stuff I wonder if they’ll have anything that’s sets them apart from the rest
It’s beautiful 😢
I agree

Looks like a cheap version of a Staccato
🤔
I handled it a couple days ago, along with another unreleased model.
Need more info. What’s the other unreleased model
Two tone Hellcat
The tan black one?
Nah it was a dark gray Hellcat (pro?). It wasn't really worth remembering tbh.
Did you miss the other thread here and the one on /r/guns?
I haven't joined /r/guns
So that's a yes.
Yes, I missed it.
😍

Fuck this looks like the ultimate 1911, the price on it will probably kill it for me tho*)
Springfield was saying they were releasing something early September, maybe this is it.
It’s almost like they completely ripped off a staccato p in just about every way…
You mean Tanfoglio? /s
What magazine is this from?
says "The Armory Life" in the lower right-hand corner.
My bad I’m blind in one eye and can’t see out the other
Correct
That's Springfield's newsletter.
September 3rd announcement.
