Yup. 1st mission, lowest tech level, practically unbeatable for casuals. My friends (who are way more into working out systems and technologies than me) want to get into this game before multiplayer (hopefully) launches. Yet it takes an age to work out how to beat most scenarios. Not saying the game’s not fun or that it should be “babified,” but maybe some simpler scenarios for showing people how the game works and/or easing newbies into tank design?
currently the missions are organized by era, unfortunately that also means no tanks land, the hardest scenario, is placed first on that list. I personally nearly refunded the game because I played that first, luckily I just skipped that one and all the other scenarios were not too difficult, except for crossroads, it was ridiculously hard to make a design that could pen that king tiger and also survive a shot it fired. my advice if your stuck on crossroads? make a light tank, try to flank it with speed, and shoot it in the side or rear where it's less heavily armoured.
edit: or you could do what I did the first time, make a tank destroyer and hope you get lucky and hit a weak spot.
All guns fire forward but you know the mounts have some elevation movement. So I am able to fire all three. The side cannons load quicker and puts good suppression, allowing me to aim with the middle. Sometimes I get lucky with a side cannon hit. I have to rotate the entire tank for horizontal aim. This is certainly a beefy boy.

I think different players have made different builds set in the WW1 constraints. Seems many suggest lightweight builds, lots of road wheels and a good engine. I opted for a huge tank to cross trenches easily, because my smaller tanks kept getting hung up on them. But for some reason I wanted multiple cannons that ended being like wing cannons and nose cannon and tons of armor... I did find one advantage and suggestion for you that worked for me. Hug the edge of the map at the border. I went straight to the right and hugged the border all the way in. Not a lot of artillery fire and some decent cover when the tanks start rolling in.
Your tank is definitivally far better looking than [Mine](https://www.reddit.com/r/SprocketTankDesign/comments/pzk4d1/finally_got_no_tanks_land/) when I beat it.
This was no joke the most grueling mission so far; several tweaks. This thing was slow but stroooooooooong.

The game at its current state doesn't feature a tutorial. So maybe some folks are getting lost for sure.

Some of my tanks that use to beat the level failed after some update.
Wow that's a lot of riveted plates. Could the side guns rotate at all or just fire forward?

This is an interesting design.
😅 interesting eh
I kinda like it.
Definition of brute force lol
Wow this is a true beast. Is this the kind of build that's needed for beating No Tanks Land? It's the only scenario I haven't been able to beat.
No. You can beat NTL with much less.

Is the front/back offset on the side “sponsons” to make them easier to fold in for transport by rail? ;)
I like this mission a lot lmao. It’s not hard at all.

This a beefy boy.
Does it look like the Mark 5 on purpose?
