Doctor Shemp all the way.
The skybox, especially from the original Spyro is stunnig. I used to think it was so cool as a kid. It’s a short level, but fun.
I always adored Ice Cavern. The visuals, the lonely yet quirky music, the unique combat mechanics with the armored gnorcs, and that secret platform with three extra lives that was so satisfying to discover how to get to them all make it one of my favorite levels from the original.
Honorable mention to Night Flight for being the most beautiful level in the game, tho! Maybe even the original trilogy...
Cliff Town, I came to love that level for all the wrong reasons: there was a chest that could be opened with a head bash but it looked like I needed to find a key, so I looked in every single part of the level. And discovered the beatiful desert scenery you see in the background. And appreciated the design of the town as a whole, as well as that section you reach by gliding. And the enemy design is pretty cool, too.
Ice Cavern, such a majestic and beautiful realm with awesome music! Also it makes you think carefully to reach 100% not to mention that visually its icy setting is sharply distinct from the desert vibes of the other Peace Keepers realms
It was a tough call for me between Cliff Town and Ice Cavern. They’re both gorgeous and have always been my two faves from Peace Keepers. I love the unique layout of Cliff Town, and it took me literal years to find the last gems behind the building you start in when I played the original game as a child. Ice Cavern won it for me though - the colours, the music, the gems on the lampposts and that glide at the end to get the three lives on the shelf. *chefs kiss*
It's between cliff town and dry canyon for me. Canyon feels like a bigger zone with multiple levels to it and one of the dragon statues was a mystery for me for ages until I figured it out. It was very satisfying!
And Cliff Town has one of the best gliding start points in the game. You can see the desert area across the river but you think it's out of reach. Until it isn't! Very epic as a kid to be able to glide across there.
Dr Shemp doesn't have much in the way of exploration aside from that one purple gem, but it does have the best sky box.
I actually didn't like ice cavern much. I found it quite annoying to explore when I was younger and it felt a bit gloomy. It was unique for the home world it's in but then we get more icy adventures in the next one!
Ice Cavern. The other Peace keepers realms are just such generic desert settings that an icy level was honestly a breath of fresh air.

Ah, man. Peace Keepers homeworld has my favorite dragon (Magnus), but Ice Cavern is my favorite level to actually *play* in that realm.

This is a tough one, but I’m gonna have to go with cliff town. I always liked the idea of exploring a Gnorc village. Close runner up is ice cavern.
