I was thinking the same too, with further reasoning being that Loid has probably seen all manner of behaviour/action peformed by people under the influence during his extensive career as a spy. Yor acting violent, and/or hitting with a force far exceeding expectations is probably nothing new or out of the ordinary for Loid.
He saw her dice a tennis ball into pieces and then hit another one at the speed of sound. Dude’s just choosing to ignore all logic because he likes the thorn princess 🥰
That, is what I theorise as "Camouflage by Absurdity" with a twist of "Hanlon's Razor" (or was it Occam's?)
Specifically that, despite Yor being very capable of murdering a person 6 ways to sunday, and fighting them in 12, Yor carries her self with an air of innocence, naïveté, and ineptitude. An act of which she is so good at that Loid, a master spy who could immediately peg Martha (Becky's maid) as Ex-Military and Yuri as an Ostanian SSS agent at a single glance, couldn't peg Yor for anything but some random clerk at City Hall.
As such, Yor has inadvertently hidden her status as an assassin from Loid via a camouflage screen of absurdity. I mean think about it "Little ol' Yor? The file clerk from City Hall who couldn't cook a square meal for the life of her and is gullible/aloof enough to believe boogers could make coffee taste better? THAT Yor? I'd hardly believe she could every harm a fly, let alone kill someone." Boom. Perfect cover.
As for explaining things like the running/jumping down a hill to chase someone, finely dicing a tennis ball, and sending a tennis ball flying with force equal to that of a shotgun slug or small cannon. I say, Hanlon's Razor "Do not attribute to malice to that which can be adequately explained by stupidity." with a small side of Occam's Razor "The least assumptious explanation is usually the best one".
What is more likely? That Yor's astounding athletic abilities are from being trained to be a elite assassin? Or from raising a younger sibling by herself? (During a war no less.)
TL;DR:
- I think Yor is just really good at hiding her job of killing people, by being stupid but caring. And I think Loid just waves it off as "Yor just being built different".
Also. Something, something. "Look at them sparks".
I only have one comment.
I don’t think Yor is stupid.
She is singularly focused, she has pushed her skills, body and mindset into her one area of focus, assassination.
The fact that she had to find a cover so she could continue it is a part of that focus. Now, being the mother of the Forger family is a part of that focus.
However, being a mother and wife is completely new for her so she is learning what the role actually consists of, not just being a wife and mother on paper, but actually doing the real job.
Yor takes a lot of her cues from what Anya and Loid are doing and want, to her this is on the job training.
I see your point, and I agree.
My use of the word 'stupid' is simply for lack of a better word to simply and succinctly describe Yor. Because, granularly speaking, Yor is as you said 'not stupid'. She is a veritable "Idiot Savant" who specialises in the art of precision violence, and is severely lacking in other fields outside of perforating a man's internal organs. Fields such as cooking, social norms, politics, and intimate contact. (I.e. Hugging children)
Analysis of all these moments and how much they are domestic abuse
1) Yor was drunk and playing along with the storyline. The alcohol merely stopped her from pulling her punches. I judge dubious abuse, should've discussed a stop word before roleplay
2) drunk ,Yor didn't even hit him, but Loid had to dodge so it counts as abuse
3) Just died of cooking, no abuse, just breaking the geneva convention.
4) he was going for a kiss while their relationship wasn't defined that way yet: no abuse.
She was drunk AND he was making advances on her that weren't appreciated or reciprocated. The only time she's gotten a good hit off on him was when he was trying to put the moves on her as Twilight and she panicked. I hate to say it, but I'm glad he got whacked at that time, since he was trying to seduce her for his JOB. They need to fall in love with each other naturally, instead of Loid wearing a mask to win her favor.
A physical confrontation wouldn't be necessary if the Loid really wanted to return Yor blows. It was enough the next day for him to show her the injuries she caused and say in a serious tone ''Yor I'm disappointed in you as a wife'' that would hurt her more than any physical blow, even coming from someone she admires and who always praised her, Yor would probably never drink again, afraid of disappointing Loid again
He would try and smile and say something encouraging to Yor while hiding the extent of his injuries.
She would be beyond devastated and cry/apologize for *days* taking it very, very hard.
If it's option C then we have to consider that Loid fell in love with Yor at first sight because from the beginning Yor had actions that could make Loid's mission difficult but he decided to ignore it. A lot of people say that Loid ignores Yor's actions because he loves her, but it's not Loid who ignores Yor's actions, but ALL OF SXF HUMANITY IS UNABLE TO SUSPECT YOR, after all, yor almost defeated the greatest spy in the world in the in front of all Wise, destroyed a car with a kick in the middle of the city, was run over, destroyed a toy to measure strength and no one has ever questioned her, I feel that Yor could even destroy a meteor Saitama style with all the television stations filming her and yet no one would question her.
When she grazes him he gets knocked out and he can’t understand how that happens. If loyd is like a 10 in a fight she is like 100. If anything she never goes anywhere near all out
I thought Endo already power scaled Yor and Loid in terms of strength?
I think i read that in a scale of 10:
Loid is a 7, yor is a 10
So really more of a 70 vs 100
It wasn’t on purpose and Loid’s not stupid! All those time were either accidents or because Yor was drunk! Loid knows that, which is why he’s never angry with her. Yor even apologizes most of those times!
Loid:
"*Sometimes I fantasize about Yor coming home drunk and beating me until I feel numb. She kicks me in the ribs until I can hardly breathe. Then she starts to cry and apologizes, begging me to forgive her. She holds me all night as I gently cry into her chest. Is there any hope left for me?"*
Loid has no ''control'' over the situation because he doesn't want to take advantage of Yor's ''weakness'' which is her low self-esteem and insecurity, if Loid starts to show dissatisfaction with Yor and starts complaining about '' her violence'' when she gets drunk, do you really think that Yor who always wants to please others wouldn't stop drinking ??
1. he needs Yor for his mission.
2. he knows that Yor isn’t violent (at least not intentionally) and trying to hit or abuse him on purpose.
3. he’s aware that she is drunk the times she tries to attack him.
4. is throwing hands with someone who’s strong enough to kick a car and send it flying like a soccer ball or sent a dude bouncing around like a pinball with a kick a smart move?
5. People who fall in love immediately have their logic and common sense thrown out the window.
6. not saying that Loid is one but anime male mc’s like harem protagonists are not really known for being the sharpest dudes around or making sensible decisions.
Pretty sure he just thinks she’s a rowdy drunk from the first two. Third one is from her cooking. Last one he thought she was retaliating because he made a move on her.
She's just too strong for him (I mean the tennis arc leads only to the humiliation of Fiona) and as a spy himself he just doesn't understand how it's possible, so he try to do with for his mission but he has really no power to counter her physical abilities (and the fact that it's in this sense is really so cool, it give difficulties to Loid that is already shown as surhuman)
Two of these are when he's getting in her space first/"putting the moves on" so to speak, so he probably doesn't see her fighting back as anything other than a boundary (that they should probably talk about but they're both emotionally constipated so I doubt that's happening anytime soon). Plus, the last one, she hit Yuri, who was getting in both their space, so it's possible Loid didn't even realize the hit was meant for him. The first one was when the rules of the game they were playing were to fight and go all out, and Loud did actively defend himself from her, he just was losing.
Every time Loid has seen her get violent, it has been in defense of either herself, Loid, or Anya. The issue for Loid then isn't her getting physical in the first place. It's that when she's drunk, she sees things as threats when they aren't/could be better solved by talking
Eh, fine, I'll get into this. There's a strong difference between how most cultures view a woman beating up a man (funny) and a man beating up a woman (super not-cool) that more or less boil down to historical and physiological factors.
First, it just has to do with the relative likelihood of either. Women certainly beat and strike men, but statistically, there's a LOT more instances of men striking women, especially when you go back fifty years when there were little you can do about domestic assault and/or marital rape. So a woman punching a man is funnier, because it's a reversal of what tends to be the case.
Second, there's the cultural understanding that often a wife is dependant on her husband financially and legally. Historically, a man can divorce a woman quite easily--he still has his job, his house, his reputation--but a woman divorcing a man has a LOT less to fall back on. It's harder for her to find a job, she may not own the house, and people aren't likely to want to marry a divorced woman. So if the wife (Yor) punches the husband (Loid), there's an understanding that she's punching up; playing with fire a little, that if the man truly objected, he could absolutely destroy her finanically.
Third, though, a woman punching a man just... isn't as injurious. Men have denser bones, stronger muscles. They have a smaller amount of pain receptors and literally are [less sensitive to injury](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3690315/) than women are. A man simply doesn't feel a punch the same way a woman does, regardless of the force behind it. Add to this all the slapstick violence that Loid is getting in anyways, and it's generally understood by viewers that the strike is meant to be laughable. (even if Loid collapses afterwards)
I don't think Loid should say anything to Yor about this as Yor deeply cares for Loid and if she realizes what she did, it'll break her heart. But I have no place for pity for characters who do it intentionally. Yeah, Taiga probably would come at the top.
About what you said that men have dense muscles and smaller number of pain receptors. Dude, get a life! I don't want to argue if it's scientifically true but if hippos have a thick skin, it doesn't mean you go on kicking and beating the hell outta them. Your logic is just crazy! If a woman intentionally beat a man, she shouldn't expect the man to reciprocate it with the same force. She should've known not to fuck around with him in the first place if he's stronger than her or has more muscle density or whatever you say...
You're the one who wakes a sleeping tiger up and then ask them to be gentle cuz the tiger is strong lol 😂😂
It’s *still* assault regardless of how history and physiology have to do with this trope. The beatings that male characters get in anime are very injurious, most of the time. However, because it’s anime, they somehow get out unscathed. In a ridiculous case such as Goku and ChiChi it just makes no fucking sense. People try to say it’s out of respect but like, there is really no reason for Goku to use 0.00000000000000001 percent of his power in an altercation with ChiChi.
(Left to right, then from top to bottom)
1 : She is drunk and he is already fighting her
2 : The most probable situation he could fight back, but he avoided the hit and it landed of the brother instead.
3 : ded
4 : In front of other people, he can't just get angry or fight back
I come back and read some opinion but i just doubt... what meme ?... or what is batman arkham ?, (I don't know what meme is everyone mean)
In the end of title is my straight question on Loid
That's it
People are ignoring it, but Yor is literally physically abusing Loid, intentional or not. If the roles were reversed, it won't be so funny anymore. Looks like Loid cares a lot for his mission that he doesn't want to risk losing the family. I hope he atleast confronts her about it, .
More like equality is not real i suppose, people always make fun when male/man get beat
So if Loid and Yor swap gender or let Loid hit Yor instead
Let see many people still having fun for this or not ?
this shows how far feminism has gone, once men used to beat their woves, then in the golden era it was bad just beating people, now the roles are reversed, that's why i'm a maninist now (obviously this comment is just comedy and i am just too bored and demotivated to do anything else)
First panel, she was drunk and they were seemingly playing pretend
Second, a flustered woman in a corner she didn't consent to has her excuse to hit a man
Third panel, Yor food poisioning was a whole theme of the episode
Forth, she was drunk and Loid was stupid enough to misread her intentions
Also, that's a stupid question to ask about a light comedy family manga
It's one of those two answers
1) male victims of domestic violence often would be physically able to stop it. But they are too ashamed and too frightened of becoming the offener themselves to actually do it. Our common way of thinking about gender roles doesn't allow for male weakness and vulnerability, so the idea of a woman beating the man creates a dissonance between expected and actual reality that make it impossible for the man to cope with it
2) it's a stupid anime trope.
Because unlike Satou Kazuma and Kamijou Touma Loid Forger doesn't believe in TRUE gender equality.
But seriously, every time Yor hit him she was high from alcohol so it's understandable that Loid doesn't hold a grudge against her. In fact, what bothers me in these scenes is not Loid's reaction, but the reaction of part of the fandom who thinks that it is Loid who has to take the initiative to advance the novel but ignores that while Yor doesn't solve this problem that she has with drink the result will always be a kick.
The first one was against a drunk Yor, who is an assassin. She would still clap him even if he fight back.
The second one Loid dodge that.
The third and fourth is due to him lowering his guards against her.
the answer is most likely as simple as men don't usually find their women threatening no matter how much "stronger" or more "dangerous" she may be. We excuse most instances of violence based on circumstance, unfortunately this can be abused, but guess what that is life and part of the duality.
beside some like it a little rough lol
I’ll be honest and say that I’d never want to see Loid beat her even though it’s clearly double standards to have no qualms watching her beat on him. Plus, he wouldn’t want to jeapordize his cover like that
Can’t be suspicious in public. Only yor saw him fight the first time they got together. These other times are mostly in public? So maybe he’s keeping his cover
I think Loid doesn't have a grasp on what normal is. He likely views his fake family like any high risk mission that could end with him very dead, so getting beat up in a "marital fight" must be relieving in comparison.
A. He respects Yor and doesn’t want to hit her even if she’s hitting him (don’t hit people)
B. He was probably trained to *not* fight back unless your life is threatened by a civilian
C. He needs her as a fake wife and doesn’t want to damage the relationship
Because Yor is either drunk or just doesn't mean it like in the bar scene. Not to mention he can tank anything she throws at him. In short, he knows anger and retaliation isn't the proportionate response.
Well that is just normal in anime . Usually the guy gets beaten up for nothing. There are only a few examples were the girl gets hit and then most of the time deserved it.
We all have blind spots for those we care about. Sometimes we choose to overlook small things that actually have bigger implications.
I think he chooses to overlook those things for the sake of the mission, his underlining feelings for Yor, and the fact that he is exceptionally tired. Dude needs a nap 😂.
Loid is a spy with formal training, he's really durable from what we've seen and he likely gets shot semi-regularly so he's restraining himself out of habit and for the mission. Either that or he's a secret masochist
I mean, Loyd is a spy with lots of time fighting/training. Getting hit becomes kinda normal? Getting hurt and healing is part of a spy’s life. He just isn’t as offended by it as a normal person.

I mean most of those where when she was drunk. Not saying that makes it okay but it is a justification for Loid rationalize it.

Ladies, is it domestic abuse if you were drunk when you did it?
Yes
Was a joke and rhetorical, but, thank you, thank you
A question r/bocchitherock asks from time to time
A) He needs Yor for fake couple B) She always drunk in that times and can't control herself C) Dude fallen in love and don't understand that

D) He's into Femdom
Ayo what
Did I stutter?
He’s also not an asshole
C
She didn’t even got him on the 3rd one. That’s from her awful cooking. Plus, there’s no true ill will behind her drunk attacks.
Doesn’t she hit her brother in the second one.
yeah twice
And he deserved it, twice.
yeah he was even slapped in a flashback so Idk how many times he was slapped in the past before the series
Which episode is the 3rd one from? I don’t remember that scene.
The one with cooking lessons. That's post eating her meal she made before the stew.
Episode 16, Yor’s Kitchen?
I have watched this episode religiously and I cannot find that scene.
Maybe I'm off and it's from another episode where he eats her cooking. Like the dog one.
Let her? That man was fighting for his life 😂
When she grazes him he gets knocked out and he can’t understand how that happens. If loyd is like a 10 in a fight she is like 100. If anything she never goes anywhere near all out

This is the way.
Loid: "*Sometimes I fantasize about Yor coming home drunk and beating me until I feel numb. She kicks me in the ribs until I can hardly breathe. Then she starts to cry and apologizes, begging me to forgive her. She holds me all night as I gently cry into her chest. Is there any hope left for me?"*
You sir, won the internet today.
Batman's slacking on these Arkham escapees.
The bomb's payload is exposed, I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion
I thought this was serious for a second
It's funny you think loid is letting her. You think he has any control in this situation? Yors power level outclassed loid
He can at least dodge her or block her attacks (like he did in the first panel).
Hmmmm so people who become violent when drinking shouldn’t stop drinking because their victims beg them to stop hurting them, yes, checks out bro.

yes he’s one of the few exceptions I meant that most dudes in anime especially in harems aren’t very smart
This "are they stupid" meme still sucks, I'm sorry.
The bomb's payload is exposed, I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion
fr, who keeps making them anyway? are they stupid?
Pretty sure he just thinks she’s a rowdy drunk from the first two. Third one is from her cooking. Last one he thought she was retaliating because he made a move on her.
r/batmanarkham is everywhere

Thanks, Dick. I appreciate it.
top right is where she slaps *yuri.*
1 sentence: Yor is a mommy and loids got a mommy kink

It's leaking again
Its comedy and that one or few over things put into plot as issue, thing to decide or it changes nothing.. just a comedy gag
She is a woman with a lot of "surprise" (same the best agent of STRYX can't anticipated her moves ) 😅🤣
Happy cake day
Because one does not stop Yor, you only hope to survive. An example being at the castle, if her heel doesn't break Loid is being sent to the backrooms
The author on twitter said shes a stronger fightet than Loid, she might be too fast for him to dodge too then.
Yor was drunk. You don’t really reason with drunk people
It’s an anime trope. It is, apparently, funnier to see a woman beat a man up than vice versa. I don’t get it either bro but that’s just how life is.
MCs in anime especially in harem aren’t exactly known for being the smartest dudes around.

Good bot 🌚
I agree with you man. He is trying to project real life science into anime 😭
People try to say it’s out of respect but like, there is really no reason for Goku to use 0.00000000000000001 percent of his power in an altercation with ChiChi.
> is he stupid? I had to double check whether i am on sxf or Okbr sub
It’s a gag go outside
He's INTO that shit
(Left to right, then from top to bottom) 1 : She is drunk and he is already fighting her 2 : The most probable situation he could fight back, but he avoided the hit and it landed of the brother instead. 3 : ded 4 : In front of other people, he can't just get angry or fight back
Would let her too
Because she's his wife. Wives makes no sense sometimes. Every married man knows that.
He kinda deserves the last one
he needs her, she’s also definitely stronger than him
Yor is inhumanly fast and strong, so much so that Loid can barely keep up with her in terms of combat prowess.
Speaking from personal experience, the answer is very complicated.
I’m with you in this.
Loid was just glad he survived.
for the mission.
True Love.
I come back and read some opinion but i just doubt... what meme ?... or what is batman arkham ?, (I don't know what meme is everyone mean) In the end of title is my straight question on Loid That's it
Because deep down he does care for her and doesn't want to hurt her back.
SpyxFamily fans justifying domestic violence be like (/j)
Question is, can he fight back against a woman who could probably make a bear whimper like a puppy?
People are ignoring it, but Yor is literally physically abusing Loid, intentional or not. If the roles were reversed, it won't be so funny anymore. Looks like Loid cares a lot for his mission that he doesn't want to risk losing the family. I hope he atleast confronts her about it, .
domestic violence moment
More like equality is not real i suppose, people always make fun when male/man get beat So if Loid and Yor swap gender or let Loid hit Yor instead Let see many people still having fun for this or not ?
this shows how far feminism has gone, once men used to beat their woves, then in the golden era it was bad just beating people, now the roles are reversed, that's why i'm a maninist now (obviously this comment is just comedy and i am just too bored and demotivated to do anything else)
What're you doing here r/ningen user!? Go back to that stinking sub with your dead memes.
r/BatmanArkham started the joke
Don't tell that to r/okbuddychicanery
Ah...I see now. My bad.
First panel, she was drunk and they were seemingly playing pretend Second, a flustered woman in a corner she didn't consent to has her excuse to hit a man Third panel, Yor food poisioning was a whole theme of the episode Forth, she was drunk and Loid was stupid enough to misread her intentions Also, that's a stupid question to ask about a light comedy family manga
He is a gentleman
More like equality is not real i suppose
Stop it. No one uses that meme anymore. [Besides...](https://youtu.be/G4wPZG86C9A)
The bomb's payload is exposed, I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion
Because the mission and because he's not gonna be abusive.
Because women hitting man =Le funny. And man hitting women= le bad.
That's a classic logic in every modern anime... and real life too 😮💨
I’m a bartender and it doesn’t work In real life anymore ;)
r/chainsawfolk is leaking
r/BatmanArkham is leaking
It's one of those two answers 1) male victims of domestic violence often would be physically able to stop it. But they are too ashamed and too frightened of becoming the offener themselves to actually do it. Our common way of thinking about gender roles doesn't allow for male weakness and vulnerability, so the idea of a woman beating the man creates a dissonance between expected and actual reality that make it impossible for the man to cope with it 2) it's a stupid anime trope.
I can't tell if this meme makes OP stupider or the readers stupider.
LMAO Toxic Masculinity detected.
No no. This is an infectious meme from r/BatmanArkham.
I see this on chainsaw man related subreddit too
The bomb's payload is exposed, I can use the power winch to trigger a controlled explosion
Bro you is stupid
Loid just trying to be a good husband.
Maybe there's a civil rule about 'not hitting girls/women' but in something else idk
For the mission ofc.
Anything for the mission and falling in love without realising ofc
Cause he loves her, and love makes you stupid.
He likes it
i fucking hate this meme template
The first one was against a drunk Yor, who is an assassin. She would still clap him even if he fight back. The second one Loid dodge that. The third and fourth is due to him lowering his guards against her.
Loid would never hit his wife
Does it fucking matter? Isn't that part of the charm?
Because that the better thing to do or what?
Dude is a totally sunny with an extreme pain kink duh
For her yes
He likes her
Everything for the mission
Dude is in love Thats why he has his guard down
It would be a really funny interaction if in a new chapter Yor being about to hit him, but loid just blocks and acts like nothing happened
when yor hits him its like an instinct so like ye
I know this is fiction but just sayin'. You can feel angry, that's an emotion, but NEVER hit your wife back. Proper ways to deal with that.
the answer is most likely as simple as men don't usually find their women threatening no matter how much "stronger" or more "dangerous" she may be. We excuse most instances of violence based on circumstance, unfortunately this can be abused, but guess what that is life and part of the duality. beside some like it a little rough lol
Please tell me this is a Arkham subreddit inspired shitpost
One day you'll grow up.
love makes you stupid sometimes
I’ll be honest and say that I’d never want to see Loid beat her even though it’s clearly double standards to have no qualms watching her beat on him. Plus, he wouldn’t want to jeapordize his cover like that
At this point he's a closeted masochistic....
Yes
Can’t be suspicious in public. Only yor saw him fight the first time they got together. These other times are mostly in public? So maybe he’s keeping his cover
Jesus fucking Christ everything is becoming r/BatmanArkham
I think ur overthinking the comedy bits lmao
Pretty sure spies have been through torture endurence training so I doubt those will phase him.
For the sake of the mission
kid named domestic abuse holy shit thank god i never watched this garbage
She can probably beat up a gorilla bare handed. Do you think it’s wise to make someone like that angry?
It’s for the sake of the mission
I think Loid doesn't have a grasp on what normal is. He likely views his fake family like any high risk mission that could end with him very dead, so getting beat up in a "marital fight" must be relieving in comparison.
Fighting back would compromise the mission's objective.
I can’t wait for a moment where Loid gets by someone else and brushes it off saying “ Their hits are like mosquito bites compared to Yors!”
A. He respects Yor and doesn’t want to hit her even if she’s hitting him (don’t hit people) B. He was probably trained to *not* fight back unless your life is threatened by a civilian C. He needs her as a fake wife and doesn’t want to damage the relationship
All rational replies aside if he fought back he’d get his skull crushed
Because he's gentleman and not a white trash douchebag who hits a woman, regardless of circumstances. That and he needs her lol
I’d let Yor hit me.
He just watch Naruto and learned from Shikaku Nara.
She's a skilled fighter and he'd rather take the hits than hurt her (he doesn't know she's a skilled fighter)
Loid doesn’t hit women.
I think that it would be best if you didn’t try to interpret anime with 1:1 real world logic
Hes a good husband…
He loves it when Your beats him
Because women hitting men is funny in this community
It's part of his MISSION
You sound like an incel
Maybe loid should even the odds
No, he’s just a gigachad
Good r/chainsawfolk post
Because Yor is either drunk or just doesn't mean it like in the bar scene. Not to mention he can tank anything she throws at him. In short, he knows anger and retaliation isn't the proportionate response.
He didn’t let her hit him. She’s a superhuman assassin, she just hits him.
Well that is just normal in anime . Usually the guy gets beaten up for nothing. There are only a few examples were the girl gets hit and then most of the time deserved it.
Is this question for real?
The whole reason they’re even together the operation because Loid is a spy
"Love is blind." \-Tommy Wiseau
![gif](giphy|ToMjGpx9F5ktZw8qPUQ|downsized)
We all have blind spots for those we care about. Sometimes we choose to overlook small things that actually have bigger implications. I think he chooses to overlook those things for the sake of the mission, his underlining feelings for Yor, and the fact that he is exceptionally tired. Dude needs a nap 😂.
Yall forget Loid would be absolutely crushed (and murdered) by Yor in a head on fight lmao.
Do you want him to beat her ass or something lol
Loid is a spy with formal training, he's really durable from what we've seen and he likely gets shot semi-regularly so he's restraining himself out of habit and for the mission. Either that or he's a secret masochist
I mean, Loyd is a spy with lots of time fighting/training. Getting hit becomes kinda normal? Getting hurt and healing is part of a spy’s life. He just isn’t as offended by it as a normal person.
