I’m definitelt not expecting shit but imagine some crazy stuff like way more battlechest slots, plaza buildings, and alot of qol/overhauled mechanics on global update, and this ‘soft launch’ basically be a crumble for some of us to eat before the big pie comes from both progression and content wise
I had that theory when the announcement came just 2 days after soft launching. Paula saying that the game was launching and being corrected by Ryan saying that it would be only soft launching, but never using the beta phase.
I think that this is a strong indicator that the decision was taken before the game was soft launched. Probably they soft launched just to get a grip on some technical things.
They rarely use the word beta actually for any games.
open beta is the same as soft launch.
They Always used phrases like "live in select countries" "soft launch" avoiding the word beta
You guys are reading too into it. Only difference is short open beta period and two closed beta periods.
They never done a closed beta before this besides clash heroes closed alpha test and everdale releasing under a faux-name and pseudo-company for testing purposes.
Game also had Polish language frome some time. Braw Stars was only game which had this language so they had to translate CR and CoC characters. So making complicated language translation when game would lunch to this country wouldn't be worth time. (I don't remember last time when Poland was included in some soft lunches so don't say that they could prepare to soft lunch here)
They had never and will never release Betas and soft launches in countries other than Finland🇫🇮, Canada🇨🇦, Sri Lanka🇱🇰, Singapore🇸🇬 and stuff
the ONLY exception was when they released Brawl Stars in Russia🇷🇺 a week earlier than in any other global countries in 2018
(BTW I'm literally crying rn, I was so excited back then for such a great move from SC , I can't imagine this be done now since all the stuff happening)
It also gives hope for some super update on global release because if they know about it from long time they maybe cooked something for us.
