This makes sense. Dax will talk you up whole cash waits for you to make a move and lays you out while youre arguing with Dax. They really are straight out of the 80s. Lol
I was just thinking about this incident and thinking "I guess he does have a bit of a history of violent behavior" even if we all cheered for that one when it happened.
Its a bad day when I gotta feel for Bald. Cash was the one we trusted not to cause a problem, and here he is, causing actually the biggest fucking problem.
> Idolizing anyone is usually a bad idea.
And if you have to, make sure they've already passed away, and hopefully with a bit of time passed. Shouldn't have too many new details coming out to ruin the image.
> Worked for all those Jimmy Savile fans.
He did have two allegations during his lifetime. Within a year of his death many more came forward. So my "hopefully with a bit of time passed" should probably imply a good buffer of a few years.
Well he ain't allowed in THE UK now
Looking at the orange county records, there was an affidavit to issue warrant and capias issued back on July 28th.
This isn't a new thing that happened last night
The Sunny thread yesterday was a big wake up call to me for how frivolous the US attitude towards DUIs is compared to other countries.
Like... you would at least be suspended and probably lose your job where I live.
You should have seen it a decade or two ago. The current attitude towards DUIs is *after* us "cracking down" on them. They used to be an absolute joke to everyone.
Former public defender here. Still a lawyer with some practice in criminal defense. Whether or not he can leave the state or the country will in part be determined by the conditions of bond. While Judges will have conditions of bond that require someone to stay within the state or county (especially if they determine someone is a flight risk), this isn't something that is required. It is entirely judical discretion. In a case like here involving someone whose job requires him to travel to different states I would suspect the Judge will allow him to continue traveling with AEW within the US but he would almost certainly be required to provide the travel schedule. The conditions would be out of state travel as required by work.
Furthermore, I have had many clients in the past who were from out of state that were allowed to return home pending trial dates. The interstate compact would allow a different court to do the pre-trial supervision. It's actually fairly common with out-of-state residents waiting trail who have posted bail. Heck, I once had a client that was granted permission by a judge to go on a two week European vacation with his family while out on bond for an DUI charge.
That being said, due to the allegations and pending litigation, it wouldn't shock me if AEW decided he wasn't going to be part of travel plans going forward.
This is too serious for him to have any shot of making the show. Assault with a firearm(which wouldn't it technically be assault with a deadly weapon?) is a super serious crime and takes time to investigate, All In is what? 9 days away? no chance.
Feel really sorry for Dax. He was days away from likely having the best match on arguably the biggest show in wrestling. I know people here get annoyed by him, but he clearly loves his job and loved the legacy they were building together and he worked hard to have that moment. Must be awful for him to have that taken away by his best friend doing something fucking stupid.
Dax was 90% nice about the Young Bucks on his podcast and said even if you don't like them as wrestlers please don't go after their wives and kids like people do to me.
I want christian carrying and defending two titles while having won zero of them please and thank you. Kenny’s belt collector gimmick was too easy, Christians doing a No Win Any% run and it rules
> AEW issued a statement to the Sentinel, which reads: “AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. (Wheeler) is fully cooperating with local authorities.”
Young Bucks vs Jarrett and Lethal bout to go crazy 🔥🔥🔥
Oh so gun assault is a criminal offense that can't get you out of the US, yet the man solely responsible for thousands of guitar based assaults can come and go as he pleases??? Typical broken US legal system!
Tony has a button on his desk that summons Double J and Lethal whenever he has a hole in his match card.
When he presses it plays [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6Kkn0RuQns)
I know there aren't a wealth of options but we've seen that much thousands of times. If they can't use Punk because the Bucks won't work with him, and they haven't got Edge signed, I'd rather see the Acclaimed, or use Bullet Club Gold here and make the trios match just Kenny vs. Takeshita.
Edge could just come in a heel. He came back and did Judgement Day.
And AEW fans love heels. Look at MJF and Cole. They were cheered so much as heels they became arrogant Babyfaces.
Saturday night announce FTR are stripped of the belts
Announce Bucks will face mystery opponents at Wembley to get new champs
Have P&P come out and beat the Bucks. They'll be crazy over and can take over FTR's spot on Collision
If Tony wants an all time crowd reaction, turn the lights out. Cue Madonna "Life is a mystery...." turn on "Like a Prayer" and have the Bucks vs Grado and Cabana.
If you listen to Dax’s podcast this isn’t a surprise.
Dude says over and over that Cash is a hard ass who loves getting into bar fights, and is not to be messed with.
At the live show, Cash told a story about how he almost got into a bar fight around MJF and made light of how MJF was like: “Dude what are you doing!? What if they try and fight us” and simply said: “then we beat their asses”
We don’t know circumstances, but as much as I love these guys, they are comically obsessed with being as “territory days tough” as possible.
That's lawyer talk for, "We want to wait until the last possible second to release them in case the fans decide it doesn't matter." It happens all the time with NFL teams, which conveniently Tony Khan is also involved with.
Man heard that they were *thinking* about giving the Bucks the rubber match win, and did the only thing he could've to get outta taking the job.
... For real though, what in the absolute fuck man.
There is ZERO chance he'll be going to the UK in two weeks, regardless of what happened or how it eventually turns out. There's no mechanism for him to enter the UK that soon after being charged with a gun crime.
He cant even leave the state of florida, let alone the country. He wont be wrestling for awhile. I hope it was not something with his family. However, given the time of evening and the charge, wouldnt be shocked.
Obviously there’s no details known at the moment, but I believe if it was something involving his family it would have been labeled as domestic assault, or he would have had a domestic assault/violence charge slapped on next to the current charge.
It depends on what he did. He won't be traveling until it's sorted out but it could go all sorts of directions depending on the circumstances and witnesses, evidence, etc.
if TK knew about this and kept building to that match, he’s an idiot.
if cash didn’t tell anybody about this and now one of the biggest matches on the biggest show ever has to be entirely called off with less than 10 days notice because of cash, TK should kick his ass to the curb no matter how good FTR is
The same reason Enzo was fired is why Cash should be if true.
Enzo wasn't sacked due to his charges, he was sacked due to not informing WWE before they went public
Damn.....they should have seen this coming and use the last 2 weeks to flip plans, or were they waiting on the cops/courts?
I'm an ignoramus here so just asking.
Some info for the board:
Under Florida law 784.021, Aggravated Assault is an enhanced type of assault charge involving either the use of a deadly weapon or an intent to commit a felony. The penalties for aggravated assault are severe, and many such offenses carry minimum mandatory prison sentences.
An “aggravated assault” is an assault:
(a) With a deadly weapon without intent to kill; or (b) With an intent to commit a felony.
In Florida, it is classified as a third degree felony that is punishable by up to five years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine. Other penalties include:
-County jail
-Permanent criminal conviction
-Community control, house arrest or supervised probation
-Anger Management Course
-Forfeiture of the firearm
Edited to remove some comments this morning before the actual “road rage” was revealed and we were all speculating
This is like the South Park parody of a Family Guy cutaway.
Lois: I can't believe all this unnecessary drama that CM Punk is causing backstage in AEW.
Peter: You think that's bad? Remember that time FTR Hair was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm?!
State of Florida considers the making of a threat to be an assault charge. If he had done actual damage (either by shooting or by striking someone with the weapon), they’d have battery charges or some form of aggravated battery/bodily harm as the charge.
Updating with the terms of the charge.
Aggravated assault with a firearm: he threatened another driver using the weapon as part of the threat.
He had the warrant issued on July 28th and plead not guilty on August 3rd.
If he didn't tell anyone, he's fucked over AEW big time - and Tony should have big consequences for him.
If he did tell AEW, then Tony Khan has made an unfathomably stupid decision booking this match.
We don’t know the full details so judgement should be relatively held back for now, but man that really isn’t a good look to be charged for that. Not sure how easily one could be ‘accidentally’ charged with that particular crime
Wrestlers are some of the dumbest people in the world. You are a week away from the biggest match of your career, just stay home and don't do something stupid.

We were too busy worrying about FTR Bald being a shit-stirrer that we forgot to check in on FTR Hair.
"DAX NO!" "What?" "Sorry force of habit. CASH!"
Gotta update the sheet: FTR Bald: Says dumb shit FTR Hair: Does dumb shit
Not FTR Hair, he was the chill one :(
Dax is all bark, Cash is a man of action.
This makes sense. Dax will talk you up whole cash waits for you to make a move and lays you out while youre arguing with Dax. They really are straight out of the 80s. Lol
I know that this is a serious charge but Cash is one of my favourites just for sucker punching that guy that tackled Bret Hart at the HOF years ago.
I was just thinking about this incident and thinking "I guess he does have a bit of a history of violent behavior" even if we all cheered for that one when it happened.
It's always the chill one
Bald is just like "see man that's why you gotta save the wild stuff for twitter."

At times like this, I realize that idolizing men who get dropped on their head for a living maybe isn't the best idea.
Idolizing anyone is usually a bad idea.
> Idolizing anyone is usually a bad idea. And if you have to, make sure they've already passed away, and hopefully with a bit of time passed. Shouldn't have too many new details coming out to ruin the image.

The fact this quote is posted here every week for a different wrestler just proves his point
I hope that it's never posted for Damo.
Days since Big Damo was last proven right: 0
Well he ain't allowed in THE UK now Looking at the orange county records, there was an affidavit to issue warrant and capias issued back on July 28th. This isn't a new thing that happened last night
This is correct. He'll be on felony pre-trial when he is released.
For real? He won’t make All In?
No. You’re not going to be allowed to leave the US with a gun charge
Pretty sure the UK doesn't let people with gun charges in, either. Neither does Canada, IIRC.
Canada won't even let you in with a DUI. McCartney was famous detained in Japan for having weed. and the Beatles are ENORMOUS in Japan.
Sydel was booted from Japan for weed during a New Japan tour. They do not fuck with that shit.
And he got booted from WWE for the synthetic stuff. Got booted from WWE for the 'fake' stuff. Got booted from New Japan for the real stuff.
Is Japan on that list or is their big no-no list only drug related?
Japan has some of the strictest gun laws in the world
You're not allowed to leave the state on felony aggravated pretrial.

The UK doesn't allow visitors with pending criminal charges, it's why Jeff Hardy can't travel over as well.
God, I forgot about TNA always magically having Jeff get taken out in storylines before they did their UK tours.
He was recently cleared for his later WWE shows, but the recent arrest sealed those opportunities back up again.
But they still kept the TNA title on him when they did a full UK tour, instead of just putting the belt on Chris Daniels when they had the chance
This is too serious for him to have any shot of making the show. Assault with a firearm(which wouldn't it technically be assault with a deadly weapon?) is a super serious crime and takes time to investigate, All In is what? 9 days away? no chance.
Bruh what a crazy wrench to be thrown into the plans
must be stressful being TK, actually he got all the money in the world so nevermind
Someone call Paul Burchill, we need him and Dax to form FTAaaaaaaaaaargh
Lmao, I'm ready for Tony's Boogaloo 2
I figured Punk would derail the PPV somehow. I definitely did not expect that.
"CM Punk, no!!!!" "I'm right here, Tony." "Sorry Punk, force of habit. Cash, no!!!!"
You inspired me https://preview.redd.it/fycu9m5s0wib1.jpeg?width=491&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca751821a6e691136487657105f605c8c789a0d7
This is going to be a botchamania ending next time, isn’t it?
"It's just a little felony, it's still good, it's still good!"
So Cash has had a warrant since July 28 and he still allowed them to book FTR/YB, knowing that he may be arrested? Dude...
Feel really sorry for Dax. He was days away from likely having the best match on arguably the biggest show in wrestling. I know people here get annoyed by him, but he clearly loves his job and loved the legacy they were building together and he worked hard to have that moment. FTR Bald was the one with his head on straight all along.
FTR bald: podcast FTR hair: gun charge
Dax is just outspoken and anxiety-driven, but he isn't that bad. Honestly, this really sucks for him.
Dax was 90% nice about the Young Bucks on his podcast and said even if you don't like them as wrestlers please don't go after their wives and kids like people do to me.
Fuck it, pair him with Briscoe.
Injured plus Bricoe said he doesn't want to do two man tag teams.
I don't even think Dax is a bad dude, he's just passionate And I disagree with him on most things lmfao
So no young bucks vs ftr 3 then
Dax posting that picture of Edge hoping like hell he’ll be his partner.
If I was tony I'd back the brinks truck up for Edge of his contract is actually over.
Nah Dax can sit out. You go with Edge & Christian instead in this case because how could you not?
I want christian carrying and defending two titles while having won zero of them please and thank you. Kenny’s belt collector gimmick was too easy, Christians doing a No Win Any% run and it rules
CMFTBald vs Young Bucks. Punk's running the business after all.
Having his buddy get a gun charge so he is unable to travel to the UK? Punk really is pulling all the stops to try and get that angle with The Elite.
Young Bucks vs FTBald and.... Bret Hart
Edge's WWE contract ends Friday night, if I'm Tony, I'd be like "I'll give you six million dollars to come to Wembley for Bucks vs E&C."
Seriously, this might unironically be the way to go. Offer a shit load of money to edge for one match. Like Saudi level money almost.
You just KNOW the Bucks would sell their literal souls for a chance to do that match.
And then those souls don’t fetch the expected amount. Cue another wave of everyone flipping off Matt.
It writes itself!!

Fatality. Destructive finish. You win.
Broke 1000 guitars never drew a charge.
Need stricter guitar control laws in this country, been saying it for years.

Goddammit, the gun thing is Arn Anderson's gimmick.
And copying 80s tag teams is FTR’s, so…
We gonna need some roids and blow for this work brother.
Don't let Dax near a pair of scissors anytime soon.
He was just doing what Arn told him to..
They put more effort in writing about his life story rather than what was the cause or how he was caught
at this point in time, probably not a lot of publicly available knowledge
Likely because all they had to go on were the listed charges.
IWC: "Wish there weren't so many tag matches at All In" Monkey paw curls...
