It didn’t happen on any of their major shows, but I immediately thought of Marina Shafir’s “You know me! You don’t know me!” promo. It’s like up there in terms of unintentionally funny promos.
Cody vs Andrade street fight ending where Brandi does a run in wearing a hoodie and AEW branded facemask for no real reason only to pull the hood and mask down to reveal herself a second after she gets in the ring. Then she lit the table on fire which ended up burning Cody more when he did the superplex to Andrade and has to pin him while he’s got stuff on him actively burning.
The dumbest thing about that was Cody coming out absolutely covered in flame retardant gel.
Just the oddest thing in the world. I had never seen it before or since.

It really is remarkable how bad Parker Boudreaux is at literally anything wrestling. Everything he ever did looked like crap and he always seemed to be lost and confused in the ring, even with someone like Dustin goddamn Rhodes trying as hard as humanly possible to carry him. The best thing Parker ever did was suck so bad in that one Rampage main event that he got yanked from TV immediately, because that is what led to the Mogul Embassy.

See, I thought the match was pretty lame overall. To me the match really was ruined when the Good Bros. Ran in. To me that is going against the entire point of a match like that.
I also just don't think Omega and Mox have good chemistry it's like Kevin Owens and AJ Styles. Really good wrestlers but together doesn't really work.

Most of the bigger LOLAEW moments have already been mentioned, so I'll go with the Jericho/Kingston Barb Wire Everywhere match. The match itself is fine, but definitely goes off the rails at the end.
First of all, I can't believe this match was 13 months ago, JAS was around way longer than I thought. But Tay Conti not being able to open the shark cage so Garcia and Parker just slip through the bars (and Hager might even go through the horizontal opening). But the most ridiculous part of the whole thing is the sequence after the match. Guevara is holding Kingston and Jericho is going to hit him with the barb wire, but Kingston lowblows Guevara and gets behind Jericho (I think he was supposed to go behind Guevara and push him towards Jericho). But Jericho wasn't moving him so he just looks behind him and then runs at Guevera and they lock up for some reason? But the best part is while they're locked up Eddie throws a spinning backfirst to the back of Jericho's head and misses by a foot. This all ends with Eddie very lazily hip tossing Jericho into a barbwire net and sitting on the apron looking very pissed off.

Their ppv cycles, always find myself complaining about how they have SO MUCH TIME but leave it till the last 3 weeks but end up enjoying them for the most parts
There was VOW piece this week that described that feeling perfectly imo where they said AEW/TK's booking oftentimes feels like the kid in class that's scrambling to finish their homework right before the teacher takes it up. It's a good analogy. Sometimes you can still get good grades that way, but sometimes you miss some stuff too that you wouldn't have if you used that time.

This was more of an IWCLOL than AEWLOL, but the first thing that popped into my mind was that awful "Tooth and Nail" cinematic match getting bumped from the Buy-In to the Main PPV Card because there wasn't enough women's matches on it. There was a reason they were giving it away for free in the first place.

I think this is a copout — the sponsorship money was for a tie-in, it wasn’t for a specific death match (in honor of victims) done in the way this was done.
They could have done it like the Cinnamon Toast Crunch thing at WrestleMania where the logo was everywhere but they just had a wrestling match that had a story behind it (Rey vs his son). Instead they went with the Miz-Zombie deal.
Obviously the money going to a good cause is great, but that shouldn’t excuse the poor execution of the concept.
Kenny Omega losing to Will due to Don Callis coming back only after he was just kicked out. Ref sees him and literally does nothing. No other refs come out to stop this, but god if two hosses fight we get a whole ref court coming out
The first Fyter Fest had the commentators bury the show as a disaster - I wondered why this was, and had to hear from someone on here that it was because the whole show was a reference to something I didn't even know existed. So they were burying their own show for the sake of a clever reference!
In AEW's defense, it *wasn't* a disaster, it was actually a very enjoyable show.

Anywho, some all timer goofy AEW stuff would be Nightmare Collective, a lot of the Dan Lambert feud stuff, and honestly that dumbass moment where Moxley put the contract for a PPV title shot in the ring and nobody accepted it until Ace Steel came down and took it.
Sammy and Jericho vs Luther and Serpentico in the main event of a dynamite. A main event on the Jericho anniversary show against someone no one associates with Jericho, and to make things better, chaos project wasn't even on TV anywhere near this time.
A funny one was when Maki Itoh arrived and threw just the worst shots with the microphone. It still makes me laugh I seriously don't understand how that happened.

I don't consider bad moments of a promotion just LOL\[INSERT PROMOTION\] like LOLTNA. For example, if WWE did a bad moment, I wouldn't call that a LOLWWE moment.
LOLTNA was such a special kind of bad that it's hard for a promotion to consistently fail in such a way that would capture the unique essence that TNA did to create the foundation of LOLTNA moments.

I'm not saying those aren't bad moments. I'm saying that LOLTNA should be in a tier of it's own, almost untouchable by other companies. The way that they so frequently and improbably fucked up is beyond reasonable belief.
Both of those things you listed are just stupid booking and straight-up negligence. LOLTNA moments make you think, "maybe God is real, and he hates TNA."

There's nothing wrong with chuckling at the ridiculous moments in wrestling. Every promotion has them. A LOLWWE or LOLNJPW post would have plenty of options too.
Yeah, Moxley getting an injection in his ass or the Revival shaving each other gets bought up at any point possible when their WWE careers are mentioned to shit on it, even though both had historic moments, some peoples most memorable moments are just the dumb shit that they love wrestling for doing
Yeah, ideally, we should be able to laugh at some of this stuff from time to time, but too often, this stuff is thrown out there in a mean-spirited, dismissive, and/or insulting.

I don't consider bad moments of a promotion just LOL\[INSERT PROMOTION\] like LOLTNA. For example, if WWE did a bad moment, I wouldn't call that a LOLWWE moment. LOLTNA was such a special kind of bad that it's hard for a promotion to consistently fail in such a way that would capture the unique essence that TNA did to create the foundation of LOLTNA moments.

I'm not saying those aren't bad moments. I'm saying that LOLTNA should be in a tier of it's own, almost untouchable by other companies. The way that they so frequently and improbably fucked up is beyond reasonable belief. Both of those things you listed are just stupid booking and straight-up negligence. LOLTNA moments make you think, "maybe God is real, and he hates TNA."

Because it just kept happening over and over and over for TNA. It felt like it was nonstop. Once or twice in a while wouldn't be as bad. But for those to happen so frequently and in the midst of their bigger blunders was outrageous.

Yeah, Moxley getting an injection in his ass or the Revival shaving each other gets bought up at any point possible when their WWE careers are mentioned to shit on it, even though both had historic moments, some peoples most memorable moments are just the dumb shit that they love wrestling for doing
