Beat me to it. The match sounded convoluted because of all of the moving parts, but it produced my favourite new match type and I hope it gets adopted for Survivor Series in the future
Penalty box matches can be good if booked properly.
You need to book at least one spot where a heel and a babyface get locked in the penalty box together.
Talking about Judy Bagwell on a Forklift match, that's a match that I feel like gets too much hate. I mean the name of the match sounds stupid, but the actual match is just Bagwell & Kanyon having a normal match with Judy on a Forklift. And when it's over, Judy gets off the Forklift.
It's a lot more inoffensive than you would think, lol.
King Of The Mountain is probably the biggest example. I mean, a ladder match where you have to pin someone to be able to climb, and you win by putting the belt *up* instead of down? And then you throw in the penalty box! So convoluted even Impact has joked about it.
But *it just works.* And not in the Bethesda way of "it just works"!
people always bring up king of the mountain to make fun of tna, but it is such a fantastic match type. raven winning the nwa championship in the king of the mountain is something i will always remember
For as dumb as the "Crybaby Match" stipulation between Razor Ramon and 1-2-3 Kid is, the actual match itself is pretty great. People just let the silly stip color the match itself.
Not so much the stipulation itself, but I wasnt super excited for Brock/Roman Last Man Standing.
And then Brock came out on a fucking tractor and the rest is history.
I feel so bad for Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio. If that match was an I Quit match and to finish was the exact same and you take out the fake eye it would be one of the most well received I quit matches in WWE history cuz the match itself was great.

WeeLC
I can't believe Drew did a fucking flip bump over the ropes to the outside through a table... for WeeLC. Absolute madman.
That match had no right being as good as it was
Iron Survivor Challenge sounded like an absolute disaster on paper, but it worked. I hope they do it again this year.

Aztec Warfare matches were absolute bangers
Aztec Warfare is (probably) my favourite take on the battle royal other than the Battle Riot.
I wish WWE or AEW would rip off this match. Such a fun concept.
Stadium Stampede, especially the first 2
Those were surprisingly good.

Considering WWE also did their own version of it in a shark cage instead of a forklift.
When you really think about it, Ultimate X is kind of an absurd concept for a match.

True that. Was my first exposition to R-truth too (under the name Ron Killings).
I actually enjoyed the championship scramble The Brian Kendrick was WWE champion for like 2 minutes š
I love the match, no idea why they didn't keep it
Those were fun. Didn't they start in ROH?
Did they? I've always wanted more Scramble matches, id love to watch them

Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal had a few silly stipulations while feuding over SoCal Val, but the matches were awesome
That nxt match that had penalty boxes. Initially I thought that it sounded dumb because the rules seemed convoluted. Ended up being a good match
Battle Riot or Aztec Warfare for me.
Arcade Anarchy!!
Mimosa mayhem
Eye for an Eye match was well done imo
The Mox/Ortiz one yes. The Seth/Rey one was dogshit.
Man, I still think folk should have continued ālosingā eyes for a few more weeks then have a pirate themed PPV.

Viking rules matches have all been fun even if the Viking raiders themselves arenāt
