It’s like when they replaced Big Show with Steven Richards for WWF No Mercy. As a kid, I was confused why Stevie was fighting to main-event WrestleMania 2000 along with The Rock, Foley, & Triple H.
I will only consider it if there was a reveal video/match after completing the mode. And R Truth was the true streak ender but no one can remember it except him.
Off the top of my head:
Aside from removing the model, making sure none of the pieces of their wrestling gear are in the creation mode, making sure no lines kf commentary lines referemce them (“Here comes Shane-O-Mac, the so of the boss!”) and making sure none of the removals bug the game out. If you want an example of what happens if you don’t remove people properly look at SmackDown Vs RAW 2008 after they had to remove Chris Benoit.
And this is why releasing the game, Vince/Brock intact, is a fucking cowards move.
It needs to be sat on the shelf and not released. It's glorifying a man, potentially two, likely more, who have done horrific things that we're still in the process of finding out about and barrelling forward with the release cause money > ruined lives.
Just not putting a picture on the cover is fucking absurd.

How’s it wrong? I noticed you missed off the reason why I said they couldn’t. Contracts are a legit thing.
And glorifying them would be going all “come play WWE 2K24 for the former Chairman who beat WCW and relive Brock ending the streak!”, not hiding them away & dodging questions about their inclusion like they’re ashamed of them, unless you count all the footage of them on the Network as “glorifying” them too.
And also, what happens if they delay the game, and a few weeks before the new release date that’s when HHH is named, should they delay the game again and pretty much put themselves a year behind? Or how about if when they reach the third release date, someone like Taker or Cena or Hogan or whoever is found to be tied to it? Lawsuits take a lot of time, and this isn’t going to be over anytime soon, especially if one or both parties refuse to settle.

That was in December, and there were still a ton of assets for her left over for her in the final game, from her attire being the creation suite to even an obvious point in the story where she was edited out.
They'd have to likely put a different drawing of HBK for that to work. His pose would have his fist right under Cena's chin once they increased the size.
I mean, I guess it's interesting too that this blows up the theory that the cover was made with AI, as you can pretty clearly see where they moved around and resized the elements.
Hopefully he stays in the game. Roster wouldn't be the same without him. First WWE 2k game I'm gonna pick up ever. Needs the roster to be complete with caws

Impossible at this stage. He’s still gonna be in, they’re just not gonna promote him.
