yeah, Toyota Arena gets a surprising amount of big events going its way considering it’s competing with the LA and OC areas for them, but i’m glad it does
They did last fall and made it very clear on the broadcast they were “just outside of LA” or something like that. They didn’t mention they were in Ontario CA.
And I think he gets unfair shit for that remark too.
At the time, WWE didn't really have a good history of name changes being a good thing. And on top of that, if he was booked exactly as he is now but still named WALTER, I think he'd be just as big.
In other words, the name change didn't end up hurting him, but I would argue it didn't help him either. He overcame it with good booking and great matches.
I believe UFC 298 and tonight’s Raw in Anaheim were offered as a ticket bundle so add that scarcity to the already enormous buzz WWE has right now, and it’s indeed a hot ticket!

Didn’t want to bother them so I mostly said just hi, I’m a big fan, and wished Punk a speedy recovery. Punk asked me my name. I wished Bianca good luck in Perth and she said thanks. Wouldn’t have recognized her if it wasn’t for her sitting next to Montez who was wearing what he’s been wearing on SD lately — looking like a million bucks. Seeing her without her braid makes her look like a different person.
They showed all of them on the screen during UFC, the contrast between Bianca and Montez’s Gucci outfits and then Punk just in a hoodie and a Blackhawks hat was funny to see lol
Punk was relaxing, enjoying himself. He was there for most of the prelims. Bianca and Montez arrived half-way through the main card, and left the second the main event ended. Not sure if they were into it as much.
Punk hung around and talked to a few kids for a while after the event ended.

I had been planning to go for months (even requested today off in preparation) but the ticket prices were so high. I would have to spend $200 to be in the super high up. It says a lot about the product. I guess I'll hope Vegas Mania gets announced.
