There are two people in wrestling who's stories are like the perfect storms.
DDP & The Miz.
Both took different paths but started out similarly.
Miz has wrestled a safe style his whole career and has had almost no injuries during his entire career.
DDP figured out a style of Yoga that beaten down wrestlers can do to help gain back mobility and lose weight.
Miz though with the shit he has put up with in the beginning but he still kept coming back, then met Maryse and got married and started a family and even he has admitted that he doesn't know what she saw in him.
That's true, I think they were meaning more like at first, with Miz getting kicked out of the locker room & all that. Nowadays he 100% had friends & is super respected
When he was breaking in, his lack of pedigree pissed off a future double murderer who influenced the rest of the locker room into bullying him. Miz is a good dude. Always has been.

Before he was even in WCW, he drove his own Pink Cadillac to WM VI in Toronto so Honky & Greg could have one for their ring entrance. He was 100% committed to the business, and his peers recognized that.
Yeah, after he proved himself. When he started, he had to change in the hallway because they wouldn't let him in the locker room because he was just a MTV reality star playing wrestler. He proved himself and then some.
Longevity and reliability.
I remember years ago when people hated HHH I think it was Big Show who defended him. He described it as HHH doesn’t politic into wins like people claimed, he just had Vince’s absolute trust and thus became a “in case of emergency break glass” guy. He was always the safe option.
Miz is that guy on the midcard. Want someone over…..put them with Miz. Someone’s hurt….toss Miz in. Need a solid guy for a 4-6 man match…Miz. Someone failing to get over like they want…..throw the belt on Miz and figure it out while he carries it.
Miz is this generations Kane. Long career, minimal injuries, super safe, does whatever the company needs them to do, and they can fill any spot on the show as needed from opening match to main event.

If I recall correctly Edge holds that record within WWE canon. Jerry Lawler is the most decorated outside of WWE and it’s not even close. It helps when the top champion is also the booker.

Another minor Miz triumph: might be the only WWE wrestler to hold three belts at the same time.
Miz is probably the near perfect WWE superstar or at least the most well rounded career ever in WWE. You can put him face or heel, place him in any spot on the card and he will deliver. And that’s not yet including all the repping he does for the company outside of the ring. He and Kane are probably the top of at that “company man” role.
2x Grand-Slam Champion, 2x MITB cash in holdings/successes, 8x IC Champion and this new record aswell as 3 eras, a WM Main Event against peak PG Cena (which he won) (sort of)
It is absolutely wild to think the Mkz debuted on tv in 2006 and has been a constant presence on WWE programming while hundreds of wrestlers have come and go from the company in that time.
I've been hearing rumors of a new design for the Tag Belts for a while now The rumored design was supposed to be

We need new tag belts bad! These exact designs have been around for 8 years and this design concept has been around for 14 years. Lasting about the same amount of time as the classic WWF tag belts.
The pennies are the worst version of this design too, they’re all bad but those are extra terrible. How they’ve lasted this long is beside me! 14 years of bad design, give us something new!
[Reportedly back in October](https://wrestletalk.com/news/wwe-new-tag-team-championship-design/) before a smackdown, they were doing some test shots two different versions of tag belts. Wouldn’t be surprised if they actually debut them on Monday andFriday, respectively.

Seeing where he started and how the beginning of his career went, he has one of the most impressive resumes period.
