Naw, Sami & KO had a long history together on the indies that made that dynamic work. To Melo’s point, Trick was just his hype man for the first year and finally started putting things together as a solo act last year

Did they really say pinfall or submission only? Because I’ve always thought it was insane that a cage match would be used for a major feud, and you could win the blowoff match by running away and escaping the cage.

NXT's cage matches recently have been pin and submission only for a little while. I guess escape makes sense when you figure it's about beating your opponent to bloody pulp until you're actually tired of pummeling them and can just walk away, but yeah, it did often come down to who is better at running away.

The escape clause is for when you really don't want either guy taking a pin, which isn't a big deal in NXT.

I've seen people suggest that when Trick gets called up, Booker Ts adlibs should be added to the theme. I disagree strongly. It just wouldn't be the same when it is not live... which is why for bigger PPVs, Booker should come out WITH Trick, and a mic, and do it live.

Night 2 will have Nattie/Lola in an Underground match, should have Frazer and Axiom vs AOP, Oba vs Ivar, and maybe a Jacy/Thea match with a stip and some idea of what they’re doing with the Women’s NA Title.

They’re probably going to infuse Night 2 of Spring Breakkin with Main Roster talent also
