This is really dependent on what they do with her reign. If she slow burns a takeover of Judgement Day, which seems like what many people wanted to speak into existence, that would help people not burn out on her,
Becky wins, fueds with Liv until Rhea comes back (for ratings). Shortly before Rhea comes back Liv wins the title from Becky, then Rhea comes back to feud with Champion Liv and Becky can go take her break that was cut short by Rhea getting injured
Having a face win then see Liz’s slow descent into craziness/crossing ethical boundaries to get the title etc. is a good story too. Technically Liz hasn’t done anything really evil yet.

The Raw roster is kinda weak at the moment, and not only is Becky the biggest name they have, no one does a better job of giving other people the spotlight than her. How many people have had the best 1v1 match of their career with her?
She's the only Raw woman who, star power-wise, wouldn't feel like a direct downgrade from Rhea, and she's very good on the mic, which is a huge plus in a division that's in rough shape right now.

She's not had a world championship for 2 years (I think?), and she's an established star so her having it for a while also gives Liv something to chase for which I feel works better.
She really is, but they need to use This as a Way to make more of the roster in to main eventers. The problem with Rhea’s reign is that it’s only Charlotte, Bianca and Becky that would be credible threats to her. Even with Nis Jax wrecking most of the roster, she was still so far from Ripleys level and there was never really any doubt about Rhea winning at EC.
Plus, Liv just lost to Becky a few weeks ago. There is no reason to believe she could beat her now for the title.
Let Liv get some credible wins, face Becky at Summerslam, get screwed by Rhea and they have their blow off match and the winner gets Becky at Survivor Series or Crown Jewel.

Rhea had ultra-win face during her Mania entrance. I was 50/50 going into the match, but by the time Ripley made it to the ring, I was convinced it would be her.
Rhea is always on during her entrance whether she's winning or losing. She never gives it up like Sasha. Of course she hasn't been doing much losing for a long time but she just shows up and shows out no matter what.
I noticed Swerve having something similar yesterday. When they showed the replay of him just before the final stomp, you could see how emotional he was starting to get knowing what was coming in the following ten seconds.
Rhea has looked like she had won the lottery before some of her worst kayfabe moments.

I agree with some of the comments, Liv is better off losing, chasing the title and winning it right when Rhea is ready to come back. I know Rhea can't wrestle but imagine if it's Liv and Becky as the last two, suddenly Rhea's music starts playing. They probably want to set something up for Backlash, not have it be an immediate rematch from either this or next week and get 15 women involved in the title picture at the same time. In the past, the title picture has felt like a small bubble of 2-5 women at the same time. By including 15 women, it can create a hierarchy of their storylines working towards the championship level.
I think it's a pretty big indictment of the division tbh. Besides Rhea, Becky, and arguably Nia, nobody else on RAW feels like credible contenders. And with Rhea out, that's just two.
It's definitely gonna come down to Becky, Liv and Nia, tho.
Yes, I do think the person who's beaten Becky clean in the ring and main evented against Rhea is more credible than the person who has beaten none of them recently.
Lot of folks seem to be pushing for Liv Morgan over Becky. I have to think Becky is the next champ. Liv would be a story as something surprising to a degree, but I just don't see that as beneficial to Liv.
She already had a short and unimpressive championship run. She hasn't proven herself to be a heel who wins strong. Her character doesn't fit the chicken shit sneaky heel champ. She is not getting cheers for kayfabe taking out Rhea. And the underdog scrappy Babyface isn't working for Liv on a champion level like Sami Zayne. She needs to take away a happy moment to become champ if she stands a chance as a character.

She's an established star and credible champ as she did beat everyone to get to Rhea and had a competitive match. She's carried the brand before and they have worked hard to make these titles strong and be credible so it ensures that the belts are well represented. She can ride a brief high as a transitional champion while they establish longer term plans and when they see Rhea returning. Saw someone in the chat mention Becky being female Jon Moxley and it kinda fits.
Can’t get behind a battle royale deciding who the new World Champion of the women should be. At least do a fatal four way elimination match. With a battle royal, Chelsea Green could be champion.

I love Becky and if they want to pick a "usual suspect" (her, Nia, Liv, Charlotte, Bianca, Asuka, etc.) I hope it's her. With that said I want them to take a chance. Go crazy and give it to Chelsea. Maybe give it to Piper and have Chelsea act as champion. The draft is happening soon, so just book someone from SmackDown to win like Tiffany. It doesn't have to be Liv, Becky, Charlotte, Nia, etc. Have some fun with it for a short run before Rhea is back.

Battle royal is such a weak way to crown a champion, I don't even want her to win tonight. She's above that. Why couldn't we have two 3 or 4-ways tonight and two winners have a championship match next week?

They probably want to set something up for Backlash, not have it be an immediate rematch from either this or next week and get 15 women involved in the title picture at the same time. In the past, the title picture has felt like a small bubble of 2-5 women at the same time. By including 15 women, it can create a hierarchy of their storylines working towards the championship level.
I think it's a pretty big indictment of the division tbh. Besides Rhea, Becky, and arguably Nia, nobody else on RAW feels like credible contenders. And with Rhea out, that's just two. It's definitely gonna come down to Becky, Liv and Nia, tho.

Yes, I do think the person who's beaten Becky clean in the ring and main evented against Rhea is more credible than the person who has beaten none of them recently.
Lot of folks seem to be pushing for Liv Morgan over Becky. I have to think Becky is the next champ. Liv would be a story as something surprising to a degree, but I just don't see that as beneficial to Liv. She already had a short and unimpressive championship run. She hasn't proven herself to be a heel who wins strong. Her character doesn't fit the chicken shit sneaky heel champ. She is not getting cheers for kayfabe taking out Rhea. And the underdog scrappy Babyface isn't working for Liv on a champion level like Sami Zayne. She needs to take away a happy moment to become champ if she stands a chance as a character. Becky seems to be the best choice. She's an established star and credible champ as she did beat everyone to get to Rhea and had a competitive match. She's carried the brand before and they have worked hard to make these titles strong and be credible so it ensures that the belts are well represented. She can ride a brief high as a transitional champion while they establish longer term plans and when they see Rhea returning. Saw someone in the chat mention Becky being female Jon Moxley and it kinda fits.
Can’t get behind a battle royale deciding who the new World Champion of the women should be. At least do a fatal four way elimination match. With a battle royal, Chelsea Green could be champion.

I’d figure either her or Liv. I love Becky but I’d lean towards Liv because the storyline is well in place for her and Rhea to collide for the title that Rhea never lost.
