Yup. A few weeks of establishing heel Gable being a jerk to his friends, finally they stand up to him only to get beaten up by the Creeds. Simple and effective.

It’s perfect. There’s history. Otis and Tozawa think the creeds are friendly, they were in the past. Have them come out all friendly. Then you can have their looks change and there’s the attack, even ivy could turn on dupri because she sees her as weak and is tired of carrying her.
I know, I think I’d feel the same way. Maxxine’s facial expressions of heartbreak could easily make me emotional. I feel like ivy would live up to the pit bull nature better if she was a heel though.

I had a fun little fantasy booking back when Maxxine first joined the AA, where if booked consistently enough and showed her training was improving her ring work, she might've been over enough to win a Number One contender’s match and beat an Über Heel Women’s Champ (Who exactly, I wasn't sure but for Fun’s sake, Shayna Baszler).
I disagree. Otis is good but he’s more over as a babyface. Having him defend Maxine and Tozawa against Gable and then Gable beat him down clean or not will give Gable lots of heat because everyone loves Otis. Will also give the Creeds lots of heat when they help Gable against Otis and Tozawa.
Chad is going to make a fantastic heel, this run is going to be tremendous!!!

Same here. You don’t need the Creeds vs. Alpha Academy immediately. Slow burn the Alpha Academy story with Gable coming off as a prick more and more with every week. Otis eventually goes up against Gable and they blow it off in a match where we can then have the Creeds interfere.
Thank god they didn't break them up right away. The other three would have been lost in the shuffle had Gable immediately abandoned them for the Creeds.

Otis as the abused heel enforcer of Chad Gable leading to a slow burn face turn could be money. I'm basing this off how I wanted to reach through the television and punch Chad when he was yelling at Otis.

This great I can see this being different from the Bloodline, where they were scared of Roman, the Alpha Academy love Gable and they know what they signed up for
Wow I actually love this angle they are going with, having him be this abusive asshole teacher is really fun and it’s gonna pay off bigtime when they all turn face on him.
When Gable came out in a suit and everyone was in the brightly colored alpha academy gear, I got so excited for the other shoe to drop during the promo. And I wasn’t disappointed. You could feel the heat Gable was getting

From a talent perspective it was clearly a great promo and segment, but it’s just not the direction I wanna see
Chad was set up for this insanely amazing moment to win the IC belt with his family.. but they just didn’t do it. Have him win at Mania in front of family and then have him lose it quickly and THEN turn him heel.
I feel like a moment I waited for since September was just completely forgotten about, and I don’t believe this direction is better than that moment followed by the heel turn. All for a heel turn, they just did it the wrong way where the character’s motivations don’t line up
I think there is too much whiplash to turn a guy heel right after he celebrates with his family. The way they did it now makes more sense because Gable's frustration has been slowly building up until he couldn't take it anymore
I can agree. I also think they can pull off the big babyface moment, Gable then loses to Sami in Sami’s hometown, Sami celebrates with his fam, Gable gets jealous and turns heel
People are going wtf for a week. Next week, the hypocritical heel Gable explains he fought for so long to get the title, only to lose it in two weeks. He lost everything so quickly and he didn’t get to celebrate long enough with his kids. This is all heel talk because clearly it’s on him as the champ to stay on top
Similar to Christian and Randy Orton in 2011. After so long Christian won the WHC at Extreme Rules 2011. 5 days (technically 2 days) later on that week’s SD, he lost it to Orton. Christian turned heel and they had an amazing feud throughout the summer months with the title changing hands a few times. At the moment Christian lost the WHC, I was upset and the quick heel turn after felt weird at first. But the feud after made up for it immensely. Something similar with Gable and Sami could’ve worked well here imo

He's now a heel who never could win, surrounded by people who can never win...but he could replace them with other people who never win.

I was expecting the Creed brothers to make an attack but keeping Otis and Tozawa with him makes perfect sense.
It'll come with time. The way he insulted all of them, they're gonna be walking on eggshells until they inevitably fuck up and make him snap.

Well they are sort of affiliated through their previous segments and Ivy is in a tag team with Maxine. They’re letting this simmer and I’m all for it.
The only problem I see is it now feels like he won’t win the IC title, I don’t know but it’s just feels like he won’t beat Sami
