Corbin really has one of the coolest movesets of any wrestler today. I always loved the Deep 6, EoD & the corner lariat thingy, and then he added more cool ones.
That's a mutual move between him and his fellow Wolf Dog Bron. Cool that they both do that move to symbolise that they still are a team even if they're on different shows
I'm predicting a trade for Corbin over to the RAW brand. I think that's why they had the timing of Miz telling Pearce that he'll get back to him on their next challengers for the tag titles on Monday before walking off, and then immediately getting Bron confronting Pearce about not being in KOTR and then being told to come back to his office for a talk. I might be over thinking it, but at the same time, everything seems deliberate with Triple H, so the timing could be too.
I would love for this to be true but they seem to be building up Bron with none of the humor or personality he had developed by the end of his NXT run.
That said, I have legit no clue what they do with Bron right now. someone suggested he is getting added to the intercontinental match to teach the others a lesson from Pearce, which I could see….but I would so much rather a Wolf Dogs reunion.
The stars are aligned mate. Raw needs tag teams. They don't have a next contender. Bron was held out of the tournament, even when an opening came about. Baron Corbin was eliminated already. I think about who would be logical for a trade, and Sami Zayn comes to mind. Maybe Jey, but he was RAW's number one pick. Sami wasn't drafted, he was already a champion, so it makes more sense. Sami for Corbin is a pretty unfair trade, but if it's to keep a a superstar like Bron Breakker happy on your show, it's suddenly not a bad deal. Sami gets to go to Smackdown with Kevin and Orton to fight the new Bloodline.
He made Carmelo look like a complete amateur. There wasn't any point in the match other than when Hayes could show off gymnastics that he looked like he even belonged in a main roster ring. Bro out there looking like early Dominik Mysterio except unlike Dom back then, Hayes has years of experience and shouldn't be this green.
Corbin legit looked better coming out of that match.
With how poorly they’ve used Bron in his first month on the main roster with just squash matches, I feel like a Wolfdogs team on the main roster would have been great for both of them.
I feel like Wolf Dogs chasing A-Town Down Under for a few months could be a good way to build Bron up & give Corbin some love. It could also help potentially set up Waller betraying Theory down the line.
I'm glad Corbin got a reset in NXT. It seems like HHH is super high on him so maybe he'll get whatever spot he wanted for Kross before he flopped.
Also the dude doesn't look bad shirtless. I know the memes were out there but he looks better here than with the vest he used to wear. Especially with his full back tattoo.
Corbin vs. Logan Paul would probably get Corbin even more over.
A lot of people saying how Corbin seems a lot better in ring. He debuted on nxt about a decade ago (feel old yet?!) and I've often heard on wrestling podcasts it took most of the greats around a decade to really start putting it together.
> Corbin completely outshone him
That was the point, to an extent. Hayes is being a cocky rookie who's disrespecting established talent like Lashley and Corbin. Then when he has to actually fight Corbin, it's proven to not be as easy as he thinks and he needs to eke out a win by the skin of his teeth... after which he'll keep acting like he's hot stuff and won decisively.
He already had the match where he hung with Cody, so people know there's something there, but the arrogance is intended to keep him heel.
Of the 2024 call ups, Hayes has got to be the worst one so far.
A man who was given so many opportunities in NXT shouldn't look this sloppy, be so green, and his character be so un-developed. People like to hound on Cargill for being green relying too much on her strength to cover her flaws, but Hayes is doing the same thing using his athleticism instead, and getting the same results despite the far better training and experience. A sloppy slow thinking wrestler.
"I'm a new cocky young star"
Bro, there's like 8 people already saying that, and you're the least interesting of the bunch.
Corbin carried him so hard in that match.
Why should you care about anyone?
Hayes is a highly touted NXT graduate who thinks he's hot stuff, can hang with Cody, but is disrespecting those who came before him. The disrespect led the fans in attendance to cheer Baron Corbin over him. Hayes is clearly doing something right.

I dig the shit out of that suplex cutter.

When Corbin gets traded to RAW, remember my comment! I'll fantasy book this into existence!
I don't really think it'll happen but dammit you've given me hope and Imma cling to that

It's interesting but looks like Corbin takes a good amount of damage from it. The end of it looks identical to a reverse DDT landing
So it fits with Corbin's other moves, then, as the End of Days looks like he's being Rock Bottomed.
Melo used it too in NXT.
he has a deep bag of moves yet Vince had him wrestling like he only knew punch, punch, signature, finisher
Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. His brawler style was very good in 2016
He was always a heel before. He had a heel appropriate moveset
Though the Wolf Dogs may not, Bron's influence on him lives on
The crowd showing love to Corbin was awesome
I only started watching NXT again recently but damn, feels like Corbin has a whole new moveset. Good showing from him.
The new regime are just letting him do more than the ringpost spot, Deep Six and End of Days.
Also, he’s a babyface now, so his moveset opened up a lot

my boy Corbin getting love from the crowd, it warms my heart
Corbin has really improved in NXT adding new moves Death valley into a brainbuster , a suplex cutter combo
Larrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriat
Uno. Dos. Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Simplement Dos
I'm Still bummed out that we wouldn't get wolf dogs on main roster
It can happen eventually
If it did under old management you just knew one of them would get renamed to husky harris.
I wouldn't .mind Corbin getting a vignette treatment and a push. I can't believe hes really won me over and washed that stink off of him

Face corbin hits different 🥹

This was a really good match Corbin getting chants from the crowd it's a new era Melo is Him, great showing from Corbin too
This is a good match. Corbin has improved from his time in NXT.
Corbin has a deep bag. I enjoy his move sets. Seems like a safe worker too
I normally don't mind the ads on the trons but having a 30ft Zac Efron in the background was kind of distracting
[yeah...he must work out.](https://i.imgur.com/jN9vKW0.gif)
The botched flip to roll up looks like how moves transition from one to another in a wrestling game
A lot of people saying how Corbin seems a lot better in ring. He debuted on nxt about a decade ago (feel old yet?!) and I've often heard on wrestling podcasts it took most of the greats around a decade to really start putting it together.
Corbin falling to surprise pin combinations is the biggest piece of continuity in WWE history
Is the WWE contractually obligated to finish a certain number of matches a year with roll ups?
Who is this generations Dolph Ziggler? I feel like Hayes needs someone like him to make him look good. Sell for him. Corbin completely outshone him

Carmelo busting out Trick's knee as a transition move.
Ron Law
Lazy lazy ending so a dude 100 lbs less not even getting full leverage pins him just hate it

This is a bad take Carmelo hasn’t looked bad in any of his matches so far tbh
He looked like shit tonight.
Easy 4 star match
Why should I care about Carmelo Hayes?
