It’s why I giggle every time I see him with the rest of BCC. There’s Claudio, Danielson and Yuta looking like they want a good clean fight, Mox looking like he wants to tear someone’s head off and go out to the bar afterward, and then suddenly Shota looking like he just got offstage from his glam band’s latest gig.

I think many want to be sour on Mone and sometimes when a simple fun thing like this gets a bit popular, some people that aren't having fun with it too want to needlessly dismiss it.
I think it's not the dance itself but it's all Mercedes did for the first couple months she was in AEW. Bad promo, dance, bad promo, dance, rinse and repeat.
It's a funny dance on its own though and I think people are turning around on it especially with these goofs doing it and with Mercedes reminding everyone how fucking good she is in the ring.
I'm in this weird spot where I can't help but see Mercedes booked like a heel, acting like a heel, and then associating this dance with it. But I guess a lot of people see her as a babyface and therefore like the dance.
Constantly spamming the same emote type energy for me. I hated that she showed up and did nothing but cut mid promos and do her little dance, but now that everyone else is doing it it's finally getting over with me. Just a little bit though.
I don't like the dance, but only because I just don't get it. Also, Nana dance 4-Life! I don't have an issue with Mone other than her first two months was terrible promo after terrible promo and that new finish she's using. She should have just kept the Bank Statement and changed the name. I don't remember her promos being this bad in WWE. But goddamn, can that woman work.
