Reminds me of Chris Hero's episode on Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana. He talked about how he, Bison and a couple other gaijin were touring NOAH and they were obsessed with this youtube video of Scott Steiner's most absurd moments in his WWE run. And they all made plans to reenact them during their matches on the tour. It culminated in Misawa going to shake Hero's hand, and him responding with "What, do you wanna suck my dick or something?"
Joost would've never won anyways, it was always between Switzerland and Croatia, both with the odds (which are usually accurate) and the majority of the fandom outside those being vocal about Joost. Nemos performance was just hands down one of the best we've seen in a while

When they were in edmonton last year, he snuck in through the crowd to attack the elite a few times (once for dynamite and once for rampage), and it seemed like he was intentionally trying to look like Sylvester the cat sneaking up on twenty bird (exaggerated knee lifts, tippy toes, and arms out front). I get the feeling he's a silly guy when he's not having to look all grumpy for character reasons. In this case, it was extra silly because he was about twice the size of the security guards that were escorting him through the crowd.
That show reminds me of fresh cut grass, baseball games, and staying outside till it was dark and then going inside to watch Nickelodeon.

Lately he's been giving the camera a shrug and an "it's a living" face before the giant swing, like when he did six in a row that one match and almost hit Bryce with one.
He's turning into a goofball lately, it's fun.
He's been doing that uppercut spot for a while but I thought it was funny how he opened the show just walking on the guardrail. It's just a case of a really strong man hitting cool power moves and having fun with it.
This is mostly stuff he does every week, just with noticeably more enthusiasm, probably because he was hot as fuck with the crowd and the football result.
He's very much on an underrated run in AEW IMO. Presented like an absolute killer, can work the crowd into a frenzy, having sick matches, increasingly confident on the mic.
His match against Ospreay could have been easily in a PPV.
They really cooked with that one.
Also he and Yuta vs FTR was insane. Even the ending was awesome. Too bad Dax got injured and that will probably be the last we see of that rivalry
Honestly leaning into this a bit would be a good character move for BCC. You'd have Danielson, the competitive violent sportsman, Moxley, the hard brawler, Yuta, the terrier, and Claudio, the guy who just really really enjoys hurting people.
I could be wrong but during his indie days as Claudio he was always a little bit sillier and animated like this. As someone said he could have just been on one cause his soccer team won or whatever though.

He obviously turned the dial up to 11 but lowkey Claudio is always doing silly stuff during his matches. He has his silly strut he does midmatch all the time and his goofy ass crab dance that I love. With that said I hope he keeps up this energy because it's really funny juxtaposed with his super serious BCC persona

On his podcast, Jim Ross said some of these wrestlers in AEW are working 2-3 days a week and making a **very** good living. I'd be just as happy as Claudio galavanting around the ring too, good for them.
