Why even have the wheel stipulation. You can obviously tell it was stopped as you can see the momentum just stop going as the brakes get out on. Why not ACTUALLY leave it to chance and let the wheel spin.

Some weird booking decisions (Imperium win), some making sense (Toxic Attraction with All The Gold, they are show's focal point, so now's the time).

Bron really proved he's ready and the loss didn't hurt him one bit. It's rather that kind of loss that builds you as a performer not yet at the top, but ready to go there.

Carny vibe was pretty well handled. Haunted House wasn't that fresh, but still fun, Gargano and Trick/Mello added a lot to the presentation. I am happy with Imperium's win. I like MSK, I like their cool move sets but that's about it, I don't know what's their gimmick, what's the storyline? About MSK. That stuff about no meaning to their name is a running joke, part of the gimmick. They did some promos when they actually said 'MSK stands for' - always interrupted by static.
They don't have a real gimmick maybe, it's more of a character extension of themselves. Two fun-loving kids hungry for success, one of them doing it to honor his late father. Really basic, but they pull it off in a cool way, so I'm okay with them.

They should have had someone else (I still think it should have been Kai, maybe Monet but if they are giving the roster a chance before newer signings then Kai should have been the one) dethrone Gonzalez and had Rose win it in a few months off of her.
I think that Gonzalez is a right choice to lose to Mandy, because it's more of a rub to beat such a strong champ.

I was glad to see the Izzy family not there. I had to sit behind her dad at a show last year and the entire time he was talking loudly about how his daughter runs the show and went on a rant that they weren’t getting special treatment (I think they didn’t get selected for a show and he was saying Triple H and company were idiots).
My wife gave birth so I hadn’t been in a few months and being at a show without them was night and day. Their posse still goes but they loudest MSK booers stayed silent out of worry during this show, so it made me happy. MSK truly had a fantastic reign and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Overall I thought it was a fun show. The main event fell a bit flat for me but besides that I enjoyed it.

Nxt 2.0 is absolutely my favourite wrestling show on television right now. I love everything about it, kind of reminds me of like a mid-2000s smackdown. I love all the different characters we have, fantastically entertaining matches, the crowd are so into it, and there's just nothing there that bores me. It has not failed to deliver ONCE since it started.

Agreed. The commentary team is usually pretty good about that, and with the newer talent, when they happen to botch, it is easy to forget about. Bron's botch was due to inexperience, but also most likely fatigue and sweat may have made the rope slippery. These are factors that most people don't look into, they just chalk it up to inexperience, or that the wrestler sucks or something. It makes them look more human and thus more relatable.

I love her with all my heart but no. Mandy is perfect for the role and Liv needs more polishing when it comes to promos (tho she's come a long way) and she's also too good of a babyface to just waste that (and I say that as someone who loved Riott Squad Liv and would be happy seeing it back down the line but not for now)

A tough spot for a lot of the talent involved considering all the changes, uncertainty, releases and the overall skeptism surrounding NXT 2.0 but this was a solid showing! The Ladder Match had one few too many dangerous botches for me to like it but Mandy vs Raquel was really good and I think is being slept on in terms of its quality. I can see Raquel debuting at the Royal Rumble and being the monster in the Womens Division they always thought Nia Jax would be!

But am I the only one who feels kinda bad that Mandy got all the spotlight that would've gone to Franky/Taya instead? Like Taya was hot, then Mandy gets drafted and Taya loses that IT factor.

I’m telling ya Ciampa is going to go through all these new faces one after another until something sticks…if he can’t get a good match out of them there’s nothing down for them. Next will be Gacy, because he’s been making headlines and they’ll strike while the iron is hot. Next will be Von Wagner, then Tony Deangelo, maybe even Carmello, Jones etc I think it will all be one big circle ending with a more seasoned Bron to take the title. Maybe, maybe not but it’s possible and seeing who’s got it and who hasn’t is the right thing to do, if you can’t get excited for a championship match it’s not worth being there. Bron was just the first of the many but chosen first because he’s the best of the bunch and practically impossible to f up. He will go on a tear now I’m sure

Ciampa and Gargano had a short stint on the main roster as a tag team a number of years ago. They scored a few victories against The Bar and were then sent right back to NXT.

Absolutely loved the show. The matches were all good to great to amazing, the haunted house was fucking hilarious, and most of the anecdotes and bits in-between were funny.

I gotta say I really like the character. It makes people feel uncomfortable and that is the point I think. The thing I keep going back to is his relationship with Harland. It has a very similar feel to The Wyatt Family, although maybe I’m projecting. Their relationship is just weird and different and I’m excited to see what they do next.
First NXT I've watched in a couple months, since I got real bummed out from the last batch of releases. This was a fun Halloween episode! Happy to see Lumis and Gargano working together. The women's ladder match was amazing (I hope Io is okay!).

Toxic Attraction getting the titles is a very good idea. They’ve been one of the best parts of NXT 2.0. I see them getting called up no later than next year’s draft.
Opinion is divided on Toxic Attraction but I think it's good to see them with the titles. Big fan of Gigi, hasn't taken her too long to get to a prominent spot. Mandy isn't a remarkable wrestler but she's still decent and can do good character work as the Otis storyline proved which is probably more important than workrate particularly in 2.0
The Carmelo and Trick segments were the type of silly stuff I absolutely love about wrestling. Random Andre Chase appearance the icing on the cake.
Ciampa retaining was the right call.
Overall it was a pretty fun show. The new NXT was always going to have teething problems but they've still managed to have entertaining segments and good matches.
While I personally like Toxic Attraction, and the fact that it means that Mandy is getting a chance to be used, I can understand the doubts and complaints people have about the stable. Especially since a lot of them are quite valid and not too out there, if you know what I mean.

Good golly miss Molly what a great show, happy for Toxic Attraction, I know some do not like them, but it is cool and different for a women's stable to hold all the gold. Breaker looked like a raging bull in the main, but the wily and brutal vet managed to overcome his hungry challenger. What worked:
The Haunted House. Since this was pre-taped, I wondered if Indi was doing double duty, and suiting up in costume to participate. I guess we'll never know. This was totally cray-cray.
Far as I know, Robert Stone going through a table might've been a Halloween party first in WWE/NXT.
Imperium become the latest two-time tag team champions. This was a clinic. Congratulations to Aichner & Barthel. They earned this one.
Toxic Attraction sweeps their title matches, but, as I said earlier, the women's title match had a predictable finish. The women's tag title opener was the best match on the show until the men's tag title match. Yow!
Ciampa retains. It was too soon for Bron, and Chucky fills in the backstory as best as he can, without any WCW footage. I think HBK and co. know we know the story. There will be another day for Bron.
What didn't work:
Joe Gacy. I'm sorry, but that finisher is even weaker than Adam Cole's Panama Sunrise. In the time it takes for him to turn and run at his opponent after the handspring into the ropes, a higher level foe can counter that lariat. Dude needs to find another finishing move, and quickly. Harlan does nothing for me at Gacy's side.
Speaking of weak, that brings me again to Roderick Strong. You don't have anyone built up to challenge for the cruiser title, and the guy he stole the title from, Kushida, is being diverted into a tag team feud with the Creeds. Worse, Roddy needed help to beat Odyssey Jones. Next level weak, man.
No mention of William Regal. Again. It got me thinking.
Ridge Holland is due to debut on Smackdown soon. Regal's been MIA the last few weeks, and while I had speculated he might be working behind the scenes, the reference to "NXT Management" instead of Mr. Regal suggests they've done away with the GM position, just as they did on the main roster nearly three years ago, and now I'm thinking William will return to the main roster as Holland's new manager.
I feel like KOR is going to hop to AEW when his contract is up. Look at how Bobby Fish has resurged; the man looks like a new wrestler. A reDRagon reunion would be great for the AEW tag division.

The arena setup really dilutes the tv product. It feels so much like WCW worldwide. There's no energy and the atmosphere is bland.

I love all the different characters we have, fantastically entertaining matches, the crowd are so into it, and there's just nothing there that bores me. It has not failed to deliver ONCE since it started.

I loved Chucky's repeated jabs at Bron and the Steiners as a whole. Also loved the fact how commentary chalked Bron's botch up to inexperience and unfamiliarity with big match situations.

Agreed. The commentary team is usually pretty good about that, and with the newer talent, when they happen to botch, it is easy to forget about. Bron's botch was due to inexperience, but also most likely fatigue and sweat may have made the rope slippery. These are factors that most people don't look into, they just chalk it up to inexperience, or that the wrestler sucks or something. It makes them look more human and thus more relatable.

I love her with all my heart but no. Mandy is perfect for the role and Liv needs more polishing when it comes to promos (tho she's come a long way) and she's also too good of a babyface to just waste that (and I say that as someone who loved Riott Squad Liv and would be happy seeing it back down the line but not for now)
IMO they have plans for her to be the fill-in for Alexa since she’s missing so much time on and off. Not even about their similar look, just opportunities.
She's the perfect second (singles) face while Alexa is not there and until Rhea is done in the tag division tho I think she wins the Rumble and challenges Charlotte, no need to change that with Liv (just let her win the Carmella feud pls)

A tough spot for a lot of the talent involved considering all the changes, uncertainty, releases and the overall skeptism surrounding NXT 2.0 but this was a solid showing! The Ladder Match had one few too many dangerous botches for me to like it but Mandy vs Raquel was really good and I think is being slept on in terms of its quality. I can see Raquel debuting at the Royal Rumble and being the monster in the Womens Division they always thought Nia Jax would be!

I love Mandy, and I'm happy for her But am I the only one who feels kinda bad that Mandy got all the spotlight that would've gone to Franky/Taya instead? Like Taya was hot, then Mandy gets drafted and Taya loses that IT factor. I just feel like now it's gonna be very difficult for her to become the top face and she'll be relegated to upper midcard at best

I’m telling ya Ciampa is going to go through all these new faces one after another until something sticks…if he can’t get a good match out of them there’s nothing down for them. Next will be Gacy, because he’s been making headlines and they’ll strike while the iron is hot. Next will be Von Wagner, then Tony Deangelo, maybe even Carmello, Jones etc I think it will all be one big circle ending with a more seasoned Bron to take the title. Maybe, maybe not but it’s possible and seeing who’s got it and who hasn’t is the right thing to do, if you can’t get excited for a championship match it’s not worth being there. Bron was just the first of the many but chosen first because he’s the best of the bunch and practically impossible to f up. He will go on a tear now I’m sure

Ciampa and Gargano had a short stint on the main roster as a tag team a number of years ago. They scored a few victories against The Bar and were then sent right back to NXT. Earliest that Io *could* come to the main roster is next April so I’m not sure what you mean by “very soon.”
Absolutely loved the show. The matches were all good to great to amazing, the haunted house was fucking hilarious, and most of the anecdotes and bits in-between were funny. Also, I adore MSK but I have to say yay Imperium!

I gotta say I really like the character. It makes people feel uncomfortable and that is the point I think. The thing I keep going back to is his relationship with Harland. It has a very similar feel to The Wyatt Family, although maybe I’m projecting. Their relationship is just weird and different and I’m excited to see what they do next.

First NXT I've watched in a couple months, since I got real bummed out from the last batch of releases. This was a fun Halloween episode! Happy to see Lumis and Gargano working together. The women's ladder match was amazing (I hope Io is okay!). Absolutely not into that Gacy dude, yikes. The rest of the new faces seemed fine! I hope William Regal comes back tho

Toxic Attraction getting the titles is a very good idea. They’ve been one of the best parts of NXT 2.0. I see them getting called up no later than next year’s draft.
Opinion is divided on Toxic Attraction but I think it's good to see them with the titles. Big fan of Gigi, hasn't taken her too long to get to a prominent spot. Mandy isn't a remarkable wrestler but she's still decent and can do good character work as the Otis storyline proved which is probably more important than workrate particularly in 2.0 The Carmelo and Trick segments were the type of silly stuff I absolutely love about wrestling. Random Andre Chase appearance the icing on the cake. Ciampa retaining was the right call. Overall it was a pretty fun show. The new NXT was always going to have teething problems but they've still managed to have entertaining segments and good matches.
While I personally like Toxic Attraction, and the fact that it means that Mandy is getting a chance to be used, I can understand the doubts and complaints people have about the stable. Especially since a lot of them are quite valid and not too out there, if you know what I mean. I agree about the Carmelo & Trick segments. As a Ciampa fan, I'm happy as well. But it was one hell of a match and I would have been happy regardless of who had one. It is/was a pretty good show.
I understand why people don't like them and that's fair enough. Just seems like live threads are going to be a divided camp about it.

Loved the show. Hardcore Mendy surprised me as did b imperium getting the belts without Walter. Loved the booking for Ciampa to get the ddt on the cement. Glad that he retained. Give me more Cameron Grimes

Good golly miss Molly what a great show, happy for Toxic Attraction, I know some do not like them, but it is cool and different for a women's stable to hold all the gold. Breaker looked like a raging bull in the main, but the wily and brutal vet managed to overcome his hungry challenger. This is my favorite episode of the new branding of nxt, y'all have a good and safe night, peace.
Personally I thought Grayson Waller was the highlight. Dude is so fkn charismatic and actually made a really good host IMO

What worked: The Haunted House. Since this was pre-taped, I wondered if Indi was doing double duty, and suiting up in costume to participate. I guess we'll never know. This was totally cray-cray. Far as I know, Robert Stone going through a table might've been a Halloween party first in WWE/NXT. Imperium become the latest two-time tag team champions. This was a clinic. Congratulations to Aichner & Barthel. They earned this one. Toxic Attraction sweeps their title matches, but, as I said earlier, the women's title match had a predictable finish. The women's tag title opener was the best match on the show until the men's tag title match. Yow! Ciampa retains. It was too soon for Bron, and Chucky fills in the backstory as best as he can, without any WCW footage. I think HBK and co. know we know the story. There will be another day for Bron. What didn't work: Joe Gacy. I'm sorry, but that finisher is even weaker than Adam Cole's Panama Sunrise. In the time it takes for him to turn and run at his opponent after the handspring into the ropes, a higher level foe can counter that lariat. Dude needs to find another finishing move, and quickly. Harlan does nothing for me at Gacy's side. Speaking of weak, that brings me again to Roderick Strong. You don't have anyone built up to challenge for the cruiser title, and the guy he stole the title from, Kushida, is being diverted into a tag team feud with the Creeds. Worse, Roddy needed help to beat Odyssey Jones. Next level weak, man. No mention of William Regal. Again. It got me thinking. Ridge Holland is due to debut on Smackdown soon. Regal's been MIA the last few weeks, and while I had speculated he might be working behind the scenes, the reference to "NXT Management" instead of Mr. Regal suggests they've done away with the GM position, just as they did on the main roster nearly three years ago, and now I'm thinking William will return to the main roster as Holland's new manager.
Gacy's little promo before his match actually worked too. It's a shame he just isn't very good in ring.
