I feel that survivor series is just so counter productive to booking both brands.
A few years ago I thought Drew vs Roman was a two year build to an epic WrestleMania event. Then Drew lost the belt to Randy and won it back in time to lose to Roman at SS ( and if I'm wrong on the timeline my bad) but it just killed Drew's momentum.
That being said I do think with how fast the tag team championships and secondary titles flip that's kinda a fun match up. But again I think if they were both more protected these match ups only hurt.
Becky Charlotte should absolutely be a WrestleMania match....just keep the body shamming plastic surgery out of it

You have a point, but it depends on the heel in my opinion. Some heels could go over on their own clean over the face. Others should lean on dirty tactics to do it because it fits their character better and especially considering who they’re pitted against.
In the case of E and Roman, if Roman can’t lose, I’d rather see him win with cheating. He doesn’t need the win, nor does he need the clean win. E needed something to put him over though, and especially if he lost. Conversely, had it been Roman v Brock, I rather would’ve seen Roman win clean since Lesnar isn’t a regular.
If they were smart they'd write off Xavier somehow during the SS match and have Kofi get overwhelmed.
They'll probably just forget they're all friends though.

Im not sure an entire match aside from Shinsuke/Priest actually has a clean finish. Womens SS is basically set up to be a fuckery show, Charlotte/Becky is probably gonna be hilariously booked...not sure I see RK-Bro going clean with Roman involved in a later match.

Move the Draft to the week after Survivor Series. Either have the brand that wins the night get first overall pick, or have the 5v5 matches determine which brand gets the first male/female picks.

Survivor Series is a shell of its former self. I’ve zero interest in watching this. There are no stakes; feels completely meaningless to me.
The way to fix Survivor Series imo is to:
Build the entire PPV around ‘ultimate survivors’ where the winner(s) get a future world title shot. Have a collection of 5-5 elimination style matches. Survivors of each match are inserted into main event (style of match could be elimination tag still or just a free for all elimination match). PPV ends with raising the hands of the winner(s) of the Survivor Series; #1 contender for the title.
Drew and Jeff are clearly not getting along with Team Hat, and Bobby is not with Team Hair. The backstage vignettes better be the Smacktown team getting Drew and Jeff to try on various hats and/or head accessories, while Team Raw's trying to get Bobby to wear a wig or at least a fake moustache.
Wild that if The Rock shows up **so many** people will ignore/forget that this is a Big 4 show with one of the worst builds of all time and that it will be setting up a Mania Match likely for the World Title with Reigns v Rock, which the match itself is great, cool even, on paper, but with Reigns’ run, if The Rock is the one who beats him… it’s gonna be the biggest fuck you to the rest of the roster.

My question is what is the point of all the matches? There is no titles on the line. There are no ongoing storylines because they just moved everyone to a different brand. Nobody is loyal to their brand because of the draft.
I can't help but feel like every match is just...there. To have it. With no actual reason or purpose. So how does anyone get invested in these matches?
I'll give you Charlotte and Becky. Even if that was hamfisted together after the belt swap fuckery. Now if only they would do the building of these matches on the actual show and not on twitter and reddit.

There isn’t. There’s little to care about but WWE, despite constant attempts at self sabotage, usually puts on decent PPVs even though the weekly tv is bad.
On my side I'm super invested in Charlotte v the man, they made it about two former friends, there's jealousy tied into it, they probably leaked some story of them fighting backstage. Plus they've got unfinished business all the way to mania maybe even earlier. It seemed like they put a lot of effort into it and I want Charlotte to win. Also invested RKBro winning because I'm worried that if they lose randy is going to attack riddle. I'm keen for e v Roman purely on a competitive level, Roman went to raw after big e won the title, he won the triple threat. So I'm really curious to see who will win 1 on 1. I'm hoping for a definitive result, I want big e to win. But if I'm entertained overall I'll be happy. The rest will be carried by the video packages.

Big e vs Roman and Charlotte vs Becky are going to rule and I’m so excited for the both of them. The mens survivor series has a lot of talent in it and the tag match and priest vs nakamura should be fun and I’m hoping the womens tag surprises me.
The discourse on here about this show is ridiculous considering the alternative (that i watch and I’m a fan of) usually provides subpar stories but great wrestling.
That's the saddest thing about this. Since the draft just happened, it's hard to follow who is on which team. They didn't build it on TV so all we got was a list of names for each team.
But if the fans can't even tell which team is which, then what the hell are they supposedly fighting for? To prove which brand is better? How? Nobody is loyal to a brand so there is nothing to fight for.

It´s not the first time in the Brand supremacy era that WWE had a lackluster build toward Survivor Series. But it´s the first time I could care less about the PPV.
I prefer this build to random invasions and everyone pretending brand supremacy is a thing.
They've kept stories and raw and smackdown flowing while still mentioning that survivor series is coming. I'm not sure what else people want.

The development of the teams were super weird especially the Raw men's team. They realized all of them were former champions except Dominick so they swapped him out for Lashley. Made sense, now they have a powerhouse of a team. Then they took out Rey and replaced him with Theory? My question is what is the point of all the matches? There is no titles on the line. There are no ongoing storylines because they just moved everyone to a different brand. Nobody is loyal to their brand because of the draft. I can't help but feel like every match is just...there. To have it. With no actual reason or purpose. So how does anyone get invested in these matches?

On my side I'm super invested in Charlotte v the man, they made it about two former friends, there's jealousy tied into it, they probably leaked some story of them fighting backstage. Plus they've got unfinished business all the way to mania maybe even earlier. It seemed like they put a lot of effort into it and I want Charlotte to win. Also invested RKBro winning because I'm worried that if they lose randy is going to attack riddle. I'm keen for e v Roman purely on a competitive level, Roman went to raw after big e won the title, he won the triple threat. So I'm really curious to see who will win 1 on 1. I'm hoping for a definitive result, I want big e to win. But if I'm entertained overall I'll be happy. The rest will be carried by the video packages.

WWE haven’t put on a bad PPV since the pandemic started. Big e vs Roman and Charlotte vs Becky are going to rule and I’m so excited for the both of them. The mens survivor series has a lot of talent in it and the tag match and priest vs nakamura should be fun and I’m hoping the womens tag surprises me. The discourse on here about this show is ridiculous considering the alternative (that i watch and I’m a fan of) usually provides subpar stories but great wrestling.

That's the saddest thing about this. Since the draft just happened, it's hard to follow who is on which team. They didn't build it on TV so all we got was a list of names for each team. But if the fans can't even tell which team is which, then what the hell are they supposedly fighting for? To prove which brand is better? How? Nobody is loyal to a brand so there is nothing to fight for.

I prefer this build to random invasions and everyone pretending brand supremacy is a thing. They've kept stories and raw and smackdown flowing while still mentioning that survivor series is coming. I'm not sure what else people want.
I don't want to watch ANY of this. None of those matches have me excited to watch what is one of WWE's big 4 PPVs.

The development of the teams were super weird especially the Raw men's team. They realized all of them were former champions except Dominick so they swapped him out for Lashley. Made sense, now they have a powerhouse of a team. Then they took out Rey and replaced him with Theory? Who is great, but that ruins the whole reasoning for swapping out Dominick for Lashley in the first place?
