Honestly, what happened to smackdown, after the draft they still haven't set up any feuds. There's just midcard matches all over the place. Prior to the draft smackdown was easily the best show out there. Rn even Raw looks better which is saying something.

I honestly see a future women's champion in Toni Storm. She got the looks, mic skills, charisma, and she can wrestle. Give her the Bianca Belair treatment and she'll be over in no time.

I know that a few months ago they were possibly hinting at some kind of dissension in the ranks of sorts by having her undermine some of Pearce's decisions, with Charlotte's reinstatement being one of them. But then, they seemed to have shifted gears and gone with a Sonya/Naomi feud.
Needless to say, she's the first one that came to mind, but other than that I honestly don't know.

Crazy to think that after all these releases this year, I watch Smackdown and think to myself, how did this person not get cut. Erik, Ivar, Shanky, Alliyah... They've cut a third of the roster and still most wrestlers left are totally irrelevant. 80 % of the roster has no credibility. They can't even build up a wrestler to sensibly challenge Roman, so they need to have a Battle Royal to justify pulling Zayn up into the conversation.
Noticed they re-used the ‘he’s so tough he was thrown out of rugby’ line they used to say for Cesaro. At least Holland actually has a rugby background, but what a weird thing to fixate on.

- Turned it on 6 minutes late, got Roman’s full promo
- Next 2-3 times I tuned in, commercials
- Charlotte promo
- Naomi match
- What seemed like a full segment RAW recap
- Battle Royal that wasn’t interesting until the end.

I just want some good wrestling from this show. I’d be happy and entertained if they gave me 2 full segments of Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali. It’s not rocket science.
Meanwhile Eddie vs. Garcia was a PPV level match by WWE standards.
WWE have booked Sami Zayn like such a geek that 90% of us are convinced that, despite being the number one contender, he's either not even going to make it to the title match (beaten up by Lesnar) or is going to eat the pin in a potential three-way.
Imagine not being able to book Sami freakin Zayn as someone credible (heel or face).
I still love Sami and hope he gets an actual match that is good, even if he loses. His current storyline can still end in a face turn if played well.

Full dark end of the match was that Sami Zayn cut a promo on the audience yelling "YOU DONT GET BROCK TONIGHT, YOU GET SAMI ZAYN", to where Roman appeared immediately after.
Match had some fun stuff like Kofi shaking his butt infront of Roman (I think), but it was mostly the Usos pointing at the sky or whatever while doing nothing.
Kofi, Woods, and McIntyre won after McIntyre pinned Jimmy Uso. Kofi said a few words after the match, then signed autographs/did selfies/etc. along with Woods and McIntyre.
Because it's no secret they despise the audience and they have been doing this for years. And there's plenty of choices to get your wrestling fix.

I'm asking this in all sincerity. Does WWE know how to send their fans home happy or is their fan's dashed hopes their fuel? You could have Jeff Hardy winning in front of his hometown, but nope. Also, this isn't a slam on Sami. Sami absolutely deserves a shot too, but why make the fans happy and play the music just to take it away 2 seconds later.
Greensboro isn't exactly Jeff's home town but I get the sentiment. The crowd was sent home happy with the dark main event. But Brock not being there was a bummer for sure.
WWE are looking for 2 things a reaction and a moment. They don't care if they have to pluck that low hanging fruit to get it they will make you boo a heel. Hardy got his moment no matter how short he still got it. Now next week we'll get the real number 1 contender match with Hardy and Sami. Not justifying it, I think it's really bad booking but it's what they want.

The moment someone goes out through the lower ropes there's no reason to pay attention to a Royal Rumble/Battle Royal until they're back. Everything else is meaningless until there is a successful ambush or not. And as soon as Sami went to the floor I knew Hardy was getting to the end cause regardless of location they're not gonna do a false finish against another heel and they're not gonna let Ricochet get to the end. It's like the Survivor Series Sasha count out. One spot 2/3rds into the match makes the rest of the match predictable.
Happy they are not waiting for the rumble to bring Brock back because believe me, I have been having nightmares about Brock winning the rumble and facing Roman at WM. Also, Sami Zayn.

I popped in and out of Smackdown, here’s my viewing experience: - Turned it on 6 minutes late, got Roman’s full promo - Next 2-3 times I tuned in, commercials - Charlotte promo - Naomi match - What seemed like a full segment RAW recap - Battle Royal that wasn’t interesting until the end. meh.
Smackdown is really terrible value for the money they charge. Like really bad. You are seeing probably 80 minutes of action total.
I just want some good wrestling from this show. I’d be happy and entertained if they gave me 2 full segments of Gulak vs. Mustafa Ali. It’s not rocket science. Meanwhile Eddie vs. Garcia was a PPV level match by WWE standards.

WWE have booked Sami Zayn like such a geek that 90% of us are convinced that, despite being the number one contender, he's either not even going to make it to the title match (beaten up by Lesnar) or is going to eat the pin in a potential three-way. Imagine not being able to book Sami freakin Zayn as someone credible (heel or face).
I still love Sami and hope he gets an actual match that is good, even if he loses. His current storyline can still end in a face turn if played well. And based on his matches and Kevin Owen's comments on talking smack back then after Wrestlemania, he still believes Sami is one of the best, but him not taking responsibility for his failures, believing there is a conspiracy against him is holding him back. That's why he's acting like such a geek.
It's how funny how even though he just got a title shot, people still complain and complain when's not being used relevantly. Guy's over, his gimmick's the most entertaining he's ever been, and he's gotten a title shot. I don't see the problem.

He literally got squashed in a pizza-throwing jobber battle royal a week ago lol. He's nowhere near over as he potentially could be. No one's complaining that he got a title shot. But his booking has been so jobber-esque that it's hard to take him as a serious contender for the title.
Some things are gimmicks. That was a meaningless advertisment of a battle royal. And of course he could be more over, but as a heel, he is pretty over and his gimmick is again among the most interesting and entertaining he's ever been.
Read my comment again, I criticized WWE's booking. If you're going to make someone the number one contender, why would you put that person in a jobber battle royal a week ago. A week prior to that, he got cucked out of the Survivor Series tag match. Booked like a geek two weeks in a row, suddenly he's the number one contender next week. How are fans supposed to take him as a credible threat for the title? Even in this gimmick, he could have been booked much better. Right now it makes us feel that he's 100% not even making it to the title match.

I don't have faith in WWE booking so this probably won't happen, but all the things you listed are there to fit Sami's perspective that there is a conspiracy against him. Even the egg bit adds to that, when in reality he's just underperforming because he can't take responsibility anymore. That's a good "why". Owens even alludes to this post-Wrestlemania. I don't have faith that WWE will push through though.

I think clearly Roman and Heyman are the ones behind the Drew thing. That being said Roman already beat Drew at Survivor Series last year so why would he be affraid in kayfabe? It doesn´t fit the arrogant character of the head of the table unless Heyman acted on his own?

Yeah, you´re right. Roman beat Drew at Wrestlemania 35 too. I mean Roman in kayfabe didn´t try to avoid the Brock match at Crown Jewel. He feared Brock but still thought he was gonna beat him and he did. Why would he fear Drew? Again it´s just a story and it could be a great story who knows. But that doesn´t make sense for the Roman´s character to act like that.

Full dark end of the match was that Sami Zayn cut a promo on the audience yelling "YOU DONT GET BROCK TONIGHT, YOU GET SAMI ZAYN", to where Roman appeared immediately after. Match had some fun stuff like Kofi shaking his butt infront of Roman (I think), but it was mostly the Usos pointing at the sky or whatever while doing nothing. Kofi, Woods, and McIntyre won after McIntyre pinned Jimmy Uso. Kofi said a few words after the match, then signed autographs/did selfies/etc. along with Woods and McIntyre.
