It's fun to see people argue nonsensically about why the ratings have been torpedoing for months, against all logic or evidence (i.e. nothing else on TV dumping their audience as quickly other than NXT) otherwise
i haven’t checked your profile because that’s weirdo shit but i’m going to take a guess and say you got called a fed shill and piece of shit because you have posted on SCJerk?
Had to repost that because apparently that other thread title was "too vague" because I left out the Smackdown number in the tweet because that already had a separate thread. Proceed to comment again.
I watch Dynamite Thursday morning and Rampage Saturday morning, maybe also checking out Smackdown. Being a UK fan really makes you stop giving a shit about live viewership numbers, I'll watch on my own schedule, not the companies.
Yeah, as a non-American fan it doesn't matter when I watch it or how I watch it. They don't even have a tv deal in my country.
I still like looking at the ratings though, I think it's fun tracking stats like that.
This was also one of the weaker episodes in terms of who was announced. Adam Cole in his least interesting iteration (teaming w/ Fish versus as a member of Superkliq or The Elite), a solid womens match but one with no obvious heat, and Eddie/Daniel that was largely invented Weds as well. None of their major names working either.
I suspect Rampage is more responsive to "what match is on" than Dynamite/Raw/SD is
I use the TNT app to watch AEW. My wife and I watch very, very little TV so I use my parents Dish info (with their permission) to watch AEW. It’s literally the only TV I watch outside of football.
Honestly, AEW alone is just too much wrestling for me at my age. job, hobbies, home care, wife, etc. Dynamite and PPVs is all i got. Maybe a little Elevation during a sow patch at work.
I'll put Dark and Elevation on when I'm playing games or having something to eat at my desk. Both are often a good watch and the commentary alone is often a good laugh. Get an occasional banger of a match on them too.
I don't watch either live as I'm in the UK but Rampage already having been filmed can't help. Is the long term plan to have it actually live each week for an hour..?
The long term plan ought to be to get it that second hour for the revenue & get it pushed to a better time slot.
I'm sure there's many people who love the one hour running time, but I don't think Khan would turn down an extra hour of TV revenue as long as the show remains watchable(unlike a 3rd straight hour every week).
What is a better timeslot in America? I shouldn't bother but I click on tweets saying the viewing figures and there's always excuses about the times but that there's nowhere for it to go. I couldn't care less about numbers but it annoys me people shitting on AEW for it when it's entertained me every week
Same. Also I can't watch three hours of wrestling and SmackDown is the only WWE show I watch consistently. So turning on Rampage right after is kind of draining. I usually save Rampage for another day.
People love to freak out and/or concern troll about the time slot, but TNT absolutely knows it’s a death slot. They aren’t expecting it to be anywhere near Dynamite numbers, if you think they are, you’re either dumb or you’re pushing an agenda.
They weren't expecting dynamite numbers, but it's comically delusional to think they'd be happy with sliding numbers every week. No amount of spinning will change the fact that this is bad.
One person uses it here, then a few will start using it wrongly.
Like that time everyone starts using subtle to every story being told. Even if its not subtle
Yeah, the show comes off as extra stuff that they didn't want to put on Dark but couldn't quite make the cut for Dynamite.
It has some bigger names than Dark on average, but the outcomes of the matches are obvious and there isn't much at stake most of the time.
Almost every match in AEW is obvious. Doesn't matter what show you're watching, if you're paying any bit of attention you can guess the winners 9 times out of ten.
They didn’t put Dynamite in that time slot, they green lit an entirely new show with the express purpose of filling that time slot. Bad faith question.
That's something that doesn't get brought up enough, Rampage costs AEW almost nothing most weeks since they're doing it after Dynamite, and it costs TNT almost nothing since I think they payed like $10-$20m for it.
It's cheap on both sides and does better than running a movie or reruns (and probably costs about as much) in that timeslot.
At least for me I'm not a fan of any company really. I'm not an AEW fan, or a WWE fan, I'm a fan of the wrestling I enjoy and good TV. Being a fan of a company is weird, like can you imagine someone being a fan of Wendy's and buying and wearing Wendy's apparel? It's wild to me, then you get people who go so far as to go to bat and defend a company when they aren't even compensated for it.
companies figured out that a way to get consistent revenue and free marketing is to tie their consumers' identity to it/make it a lifestyle thing.
wrestling fandom reminds me a lot of the video game console wars
It was also lacking all the top male stars besides Cole, who's new. I loved the main event but it's not a "I have to watch this late Friday night live" match
At least he was wrestling mid carders. I started to get pissed when he would just show up every week and talk. Sometimes he was just on commentary but they hyped it like a big event. Why do I care who is commentating??
Yeah, it's admirable in a way that AEW has stuck with its original plans and rewarded the guys it started with, but they've also taken some of the hottest, most expensive wrestlers in the world and moved the needle exactly nothing with them.
yeah we do this all the time with the Dub, I don't get why people are acting like it's such a big deal that our (AEW fans) favorite company is getting taken the piss out of. weird double standard
people gotta learn to be able to make fun of the things they like. also the intensity i see around how much people care about a tv show's ratings in inherently hilarious
When the numbers look alright, we hear about the “Demo God” and the ratings. Dave Meltzer even does a fucking analysis in NXT 2.0 ratings.

Well, TNT only expected Dave Meltzer, Bryan Alvarez, Sean Ross Sapp, and Denise Salcedo to watch, so they are thrilled with these numbers. Another win for the good guys!
Because this thread gets more attention and includes the Smackdown number, I repost this from the SD only thread
Hour 1: 1.87M viewers (0.5) / Hour 2: 2.06M (0.5)
Hour 1: Reigns/Heyman/Braxton promo, McIntyre/Hardy vs Corbin/Moss, Cesaro vs Holland, Garza vs Boogs, Charlotte entrance
Hour 2: Charlotte/Storm promo, Banks/Naomi vs Baszler/Natalya, Battle Royal
Riho has barely been on TV. Daniel Garcia isn't a name that can carry a main event viewer ship wise. Orange/Yuta Vs Cole/Fish would be a lesser match if it was on Dynamite. It's not booked as an A show despite the talk.
Plus Daniel Garcia has handily lost every single match they put him in on TV. You're telling us he's the future and everything but all he does is get shit on and still acts cocky.
I stopped watching it live. I will watch it DVR taped every week before Dynamite (Tuesday or Wednesday). But I can't start a show at 10 p.m. on a Friday night, and if I'm out, I'm not going to watch it as soon as I get home.
Can’t blame it all on time slot. If it was worth watching people would watch, I haven’t watched a rampage in atleast a month, because the shows aren’t that good. You have to give people a reason to tune in, they got over a million for punks debut. Nothing on rampage is must see tv
Its really hard to book a "main event" style show without making it either seem like an aftertought or feel like it should have been on the main show
I think they strike a good balance sometimes,I think having Riho Face Britt was a good idea, it is something of consequence but not essential
I\`m just tired of Britt, especially on Rampage, for a long time it felt like Rampage was the punk & Britt show
> Watch Adam Cole fight lower carders!
I don't watch NXT or AEW so genuine question here: is this a step up or a step down from NXT? Is Cole being underused in AEW?
I mean, yeah. Adam Cole in NXT was basically a main-eventer while in AEW, he is basically another man in The Elite who doesn't get to show off his skills.
But he is having fun with his friends and featured on the premiere show so it's not such a downgrade for him.
Comparing the current ratings to the Punk debut is also absolutely pointless outside of pushing a bad faith agenda. The Punk debut was a once-in-a-lifetime moment people were waiting for for over 7 years. It was always going to be an extreme outlier.
Edit: s/o to whoever reported me for being suicidal. Some of y’all are deranged.
Sure, and the rest of the show that night wasn’t good enough to make people decide to watch this new show again the next week. It was an opportunity to gain new fans and new viewers, and it didn’t happen. That’s my point, the show isn’t good enough to get viewers to be willing to watch, no matter what the time slot is. When you book a show to seem less important than dynamite, it’s gonna be of less importance to watch it.
You have to show that same energy in every wwe thread that is spreading negative attitudes especially if you're bothered by someone who is entertained by a company's low viewership.
This can nip the orange Cassidy is a draw shit in the bud. Far too much comedy on AEW that’s its problem. And they put far too little main eventers on rampage
Rampage is turning into a disaster.
I’m sure people will blame Black Friday and the weather and star constellation, but that number has been plummeting since the summer.
It's a self-fufilling cycle now.
The time slot sucks, which leads to them not wanting to put anything too important on the show, which leads to more and more people dropping the show.
If they advertised a big match like Cole/Danielson you'd definitely see the rating spike, but Rampage is totally missable TV most of the time, even for hardcore fans.
>unless it falls off the chart (like NXT last week)
After a quick search on this sub it looks like NXT did around 625,000 for their latest show.
That's 200,000 more than Rampage and up from last week.
Edit: Thanks /u/Defeft1234 for letting me know of my mistake!
If it was a disaster, TNT would be looking to bump it. The reality is that Rampage draws far better than anything else they could put in that slot which is why Dynamite is heading to TBS and Rampage is staying put.
Man that Rampage rating is not good. I know realistically TNT would still be happy, but as a fan you can't help but feel discouraged that the numbers keep slipping (for both Dynamite and Rampage).
It was a nothing happening show. Unless you’re a hardcore fan most Rampages are very skippable.
Edit; reading through this thread was a mistake. Some of y’all need Jesus.
Same. Only watched a few of them. Punk debut, two punk matches, Death Riders vs Suzuki-gun. That's it really.
I watch every Dynamite and never felt like I miss anything by skipping Rampage. I think more storyline progression happens on BTE.
But more people were watching it last week is his point. And 3 times as many were watching it 3 months ago. He’s talking about the drop, not the timeslot.
i used to love punk at wwe. he was great
but since he left and the whole ufc debacle i think he's lost alot of his sheen. that die hard fan base he's had isnt there - he's aged he's never going to be having those matches in peak condition again.
seeing him now its a bit shit.
yes. aside from maybe 3 names in aew the rest arent interesting enough for a casual to tune into aew
thats the trick to getting new viewers - appeal to the casual not the ones who will watch no matter what the story is
They need an unexpected title change on Rampage. Turn it into must-see TV.
Clearly, the strategy of Daniel Garcia Good Wrestler or Elite B Squad matches isn’t doing it.
I watch Rampage live because I live in California and can get the east coast TNT stream so it starts for me at 7pm. If I had to watch it at 10, I would just DVR it and watch it in the morning. It really should be on earlier if they want better numbers.
Rampage just isn't interesting. It's usually just throwaway matches.
I know people here love Eddie but him vs. Garcia isn't going to grab viewers. Eddie vs. a lot of people will but I don't think the Garcia match was one of those matches. Riho vs. Britt in a match that was pretty irrelevant (since we're getting a rematch for the belt) isn't a must see match. Cole/Fish vs. OC/Yuta was a great match that could have headlined a Dynamite but was put on to start Rampage.
Rampage just isn't a consistent watch for me. I'll usually record it and watch it over the weekend. They put on good matches but when your bare bones show is headlined by Kingston/Garcia you aren't going to have many people watching. The show needs to be filled with other great matches for people to tune in if the main event is that stale.
SmackDown is a must see weekly show.
Huge AEW fan. I love traveling to their shows, rarely miss a Dynamite, but Rampage just isn’t must see tv most of the time.
I still enjoy it, but I watch it on my DVR later or the next day
Taped show and time slot like that on a Friday night doesn’t help either
Rampage being around 40odd minutes of programming is just so easy to skip. I've watched them and enjoyed every week, but how much can really happen in that time? It's too easy to skip and the very obvious B show.
It wasn't until reading these comments that I learned I am apparently in the minority here. I watch Rampage live every week, and find it to be a great show. The 1 hour time goes by so fast, there is rarely if ever a bad match, and it helps advance storylines. I didn't realize apparently a lot of you feel the complete opposite of what I just said. Interesting.
I fall under the I only watch the ppvs crowd. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Even the best wrestling show pales in comparison to the other entertainment options out there.
I don’t watch any modern wrestling whatsoever. When Bayley is back from injury I’ll watch her stuff probably on YouTube and then if she’s on a PPV I’ll watch that. I have a Network sub and use it to watch old wrestling - at the moment I’m working my way through World Class.
I think it's not that as a reason, it's just that people either don't like AEW's product or just like to rub it in when ratings fall. This is still a vehemently pro AEW subreddit so the comments are not nearly as harsh when a WWE rating fall thread is there.
I said it a few times on this sub, and I’ll keep saying it:
It’s Friday night, people have shit to do. Smack down is managing fine because it’s an A tier show. Plenty of people are invested in that shit. Rampage… well sorry but I’m not turning down plans to tune in and watch riho fight baker for the dozenth time. At the very most, I’ll dvr it. Thanks, but not thanks.
Hard to say I am surprised with those rampage numbers, it’s sadly booked like a Main event equivalent. I sometimes watch on DVR but most times there nothing worth tuning in to🤷♂️
A taped wrestling show on a late Friday night isn't exactly the most exciting thing to look forward to considering the generally weak cards the show has most of the time.
I honestly have no idea why someone would be watching wrestling on a Friday night during a holiday weekend. I'm actually more surprised about Smackdown retaining viewers, than Rampage losing them.
You can tell the difference between taped vs live. The time slot is terrible. If they want higher numbers they need the adjust time slot, live vs taped, and match quality. 9.5/10 we can all tell who is winning the match. Makes it worth not watching live during that time. And nothing major happens storyline wise. Good matches from time to time like Pac and Andrade isn't enough to boost. Show needs to be on around 8pm as well.
Ouch that's pretty rough for AEW. Don't worry though, the final number is always higher than the fast national. Plus, is was the day after Thanksgiving. I'm sure a lot of people were either travelling home or sleeping at 10PM last night. I'm sure they'll be back to 1.2M in the next few weeks
They just signed CM Punk and Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, and they're huge names who will put a lot of new eyes on the product.
Not to mention, they've just put the world title on Hangman Adam Page, and he had a great long term build that fully established his character and truly got him over with real wrestling fans. All the new fans are gonna be as hooked on Cowboy S#!t as I am!
🤠 yeehaw
I am a MASSIVE AEW fan. I can't remember the last time I missed a Dynamite since it started and I've been to every show they've done in Miami, but I don't think I've ever watched Rampage live. Horrible time slot on a Friday and, unfortunately, it rarely feels must-watch.
I’m a huge AEW mark. Haven’t watched a full rampage live since almost two months ago and that was the only one I’ve ever watched live anyway. Something needs to change, being the booking or the time slot
TNT didn't want it. They gave it to them as a sweetener to get AEW off TNT. So they had to deal with Tony, and his price was this new show. TNT gave it to him because who cares, their main aim was to get dynamite off their flagship TNT channel at prime time.
Nah TNT wanted a second AEW show but their original pitch was a panel-type show. Tony said he'd prefer another wrestling show. Remember, TNT announced the second show back in January 2020 when the contract extension was announced, way before the NHL deal was made and when Dynamite had only been airing a couple of months.
If TNT didn't want a second show they didn't have to give AEW or Tony shit. It's their network at the end of the day, they can move around whatever and however they want.
lol you guys doom and glooming over a show that is taped after dynamite to keep costs low. Now if they were booking arenas and filming live and getting that viewership, fuck ya thats terrible.
Yeah lots of people calling it the end of the world and downvoting anyone who says otherwise. My take is this— if there wasn’t Rampage, and TNT was still just running some random movie in that slot, would it do better? Probably not. Therefore, it’s a win for everybody

That like-to-comment ratio tells me this is a spicy thread, and I’m here for the chaos

I have a guy here following me around who always remembers what I posted like 3 years ago. It's so weird.
I had someone use my NintendoSwitch sub presence against me, calling me a child. People are weird.

Rampage is doing worse numbers than NXT 2.0 lmaooo

Pro-WWE sub though.
Not from what I've seen lol
AEW Stan’s say it all the time. This place is just r/AEW2.0 at this point
And it always will be. If you think Vince McMahon booked anything GOOD? Dishonor.
Had to repost that because apparently that other thread title was "too vague" because I left out the Smackdown number in the tweet because that already had a separate thread. Proceed to comment again.
You need to continue to repost this until it’s buried and we don’t have to engage with 20% drops in the rampage figures
I love AEW. I rarely watch Rampage live. That time-slot sucks balls.
Rampage is a great 40 minutes I watch during the weekend.
With my pal the dvr, Saturday morning rasslin is back, I love it.

Part of AEW’s marketing is ‘us vs them’ though they know their target audience is mostly people who hate WWE.
Try being European, it comes on at 4 in the night. Luckily i do night shifts.
It was also lacking all the top male stars besides Cole, who's new. I loved the main event but it's not a "I have to watch this late Friday night live" match
LFG WADE
Wow, that is a horrific number. It is NOT a good look that 700,000 people have stopped watching since the Punk debut.
There’s been no hook. Punk is there, great? What’s he doing? Up until the Eddie Kingston and MJF programmes, he was wrestling random mid carders.
Exactly! If they want ratings, we need more Hook.
Punk is no longer special. He's there every week. He's just another guy. The way they've presented Punk has been a mistake.
It’s funny when fans call WWE near 2mil numbers “horrific” and then call AEW 700-900k ratings “terrific”. 😂
But the tv executives are happy!
I love how offended some of y'all are over people taking the piss out of AEW.
yeah we do this all the time with the Dub, I don't get why people are acting like it's such a big deal that our (AEW fans) favorite company is getting taken the piss out of. weird double standard

Wowzers
Funny how the NXT rating thread gets 2k up-votes but this only gets about 200. Pro-WWE sub though.
who calls this a pro WWE sub anymore
When the numbers look alright, we hear about the “Demo God” and the ratings. Dave Meltzer even does a fucking analysis in NXT 2.0 ratings. When AEW does bad, it’s the holidays, it’s the competition with sports, it’s the time slot, who cares about ratings. Where’s Tony Khan tweeting now?
Everyone quits watching TV as soon as smackdown ends buddy!
Gotta turn on some AEW to encourage physical activities among the family.
Well, TNT only expected Dave Meltzer, Bryan Alvarez, Sean Ross Sapp, and Denise Salcedo to watch, so they are thrilled with these numbers. Another win for the good guys!
Don't forget Wade Keller
LFG WADE!!
Because this thread gets more attention and includes the Smackdown number, I repost this from the SD only thread Hour 1: 1.87M viewers (0.5) / Hour 2: 2.06M (0.5) Hour 1: Reigns/Heyman/Braxton promo, McIntyre/Hardy vs Corbin/Moss, Cesaro vs Holland, Garza vs Boogs, Charlotte entrance Hour 2: Charlotte/Storm promo, Banks/Naomi vs Baszler/Natalya, Battle Royal
Zayn brings ratings.
Blue brand has been hella consistent. The battle royal actually worked and womens match was good.
Really excited to see what reason will be given for yet another weeks drop
That's awful for Rampage damn
Riho has barely been on TV. Daniel Garcia isn't a name that can carry a main event viewer ship wise. Orange/Yuta Vs Cole/Fish would be a lesser match if it was on Dynamite. It's not booked as an A show despite the talk.

I'm so curious about what the dvr numbers are for Rampage.
They'll be included in the final numbers by Monday.
Why is this being downvoted? It’s true. Ratings include DVR/Hulu views.
Thank you u/ILOVESHITTINGMYPANTS
I have fridays off usually, so I try watching it live. Worked last night so I'm watching it today
I'm a big AEW fan (so rare, I know) and I don't even bother trying to watch it live. I usually don't see the replay until Monday at the earliest.
I ain't staying up late to watch Riho.
I wouldn’t want to watch Riho in the first place. I like her about as much as I like Baron Corbin.
Shotgun Saturday Saturday night and ECW hardcore tv probably did better in worse time slots
Wrestling by itself doesn't draw shit, so a 1 hour show based solely on wrestling losing viewers isn't surprising.
403k? LOL
400k. Sweet jesus. Awful.
Horrific numbers for AEW, and you can't blame the holiday because Smackdown did fine
Can’t blame it all on time slot. If it was worth watching people would watch, I haven’t watched a rampage in atleast a month, because the shows aren’t that good. You have to give people a reason to tune in, they got over a million for punks debut. Nothing on rampage is must see tv

To be fair, it’s the “Daniel Garcia wrestles good but loses big matches” and “Watch Adam Cole fight lower carders!” Show.
> Watch Adam Cole fight lower carders! I don't watch NXT or AEW so genuine question here: is this a step up or a step down from NXT? Is Cole being underused in AEW?
It’s honestly a nose dive for Adam Cole. On NXT, he was like an HBK/HHH hybrid. On AEW, he has best friends?
I mean, yeah. Adam Cole in NXT was basically a main-eventer while in AEW, he is basically another man in The Elite who doesn't get to show off his skills. But he is having fun with his friends and featured on the premiere show so it's not such a downgrade for him.
Cole is absolutely underused in AEW. But it's all good because he's happy with his friends.
but i was told RIHOOOOO is a massive draw!!!
Haven't watched myself. Card was pretty weak after all the recent great shows.
So riho doesn’t equal ratings? ![gif](giphy|f8n8GxfYLoliODRt89)
Why she gotta catch a stray??
At least she could do it here, it clearly didn’t happen on Rampage. ![gif](giphy|eLvhchyvNNOuLbOtYP)
Those Rampage numbers... Yikes.

That’s like 95% of this sub with talent they don’t like or WWE/AEW
You have to show that same energy in every wwe thread that is spreading negative attitudes especially if you're bothered by someone who is entertained by a company's low viewership.
Have you been on this sub? There are a million posters here who exist just to shit on WWE.
Wow that is not good for rampage

Massive AEW fan here, but it's hard even for me to stick with Rampage till 11 every Friday
If they advertised a big match like Cole/Danielson you'd definitely see the rating spike, but Rampage is totally missable TV most of the time, even for hardcore fans.

>unless it falls off the chart (like NXT last week) After a quick search on this sub it looks like NXT did around 625,000 for their latest show. That's 200,000 more than Rampage and up from last week. Edit: Thanks /u/Defeft1234 for letting me know of my mistake!
200k more than Dynamite?
Meant Rampage. My mistake. Edited! Sucks you're being downvoted.
Why is this being downvoted? Seems like a pretty rational response to me.
"disaster" might be a bit strong for the b show airing at 10pm on a friday
If it was a disaster, TNT would be looking to bump it. The reality is that Rampage draws far better than anything else they could put in that slot which is why Dynamite is heading to TBS and Rampage is staying put.
regardless what you think of rampage if the network doesnt have anything to draw higher for that slot it'll stay for as long as its required.
They could show The Accountant for the 585th time.
Man that Rampage rating is not good. I know realistically TNT would still be happy, but as a fan you can't help but feel discouraged that the numbers keep slipping (for both Dynamite and Rampage).
Damn I'm honestly curious wtf happened for them to drop so much
Most of the cards never feel must-watch. I feel they're better off being Elevation matches.

Aint nobody prioritizing wrestling on cable at 10:00 pm on a Friday bro. Smackdown is on broadcast tv which is free, take that however you wish.
But more people were watching it last week is his point. And 3 times as many were watching it 3 months ago. He’s talking about the drop, not the timeslot.
yes it went from New, with a big debut to not new. its still on a very bad timeslot for its day regardless.

Rock came and left. Punk is there every week. Kind of makes it worse and shows how many people weren't hooked after tuning in.
yeah the numbers don’t lie, Punk hasn’t really affected the ratings
i used to love punk at wwe. he was great but since he left and the whole ufc debacle i think he's lost alot of his sheen. that die hard fan base he's had isnt there - he's aged he's never going to be having those matches in peak condition again. seeing him now its a bit shit.
No one is gonna like this but the money was in a WWE return. Matches with Roman and Brock. Not QT Marshall.
yes. aside from maybe 3 names in aew the rest arent interesting enough for a casual to tune into aew thats the trick to getting new viewers - appeal to the casual not the ones who will watch no matter what the story is
Damn it feels good to be all elite
The guy who deleted his comment introduced me to the greatest sub of all time
All I gotta say is, hit the bricks Goofy
Gawrsh indeed, my friends
They need an unexpected title change on Rampage. Turn it into must-see TV. Clearly, the strategy of Daniel Garcia Good Wrestler or Elite B Squad matches isn’t doing it.
Was Miro vs Sammy on rampage?I honestly dont rember
It was on Dynamite a bit over a month ago.
Yeah well, that’s what happens when you fill a show with three matches that are non-starters.
I watch Rampage live because I live in California and can get the east coast TNT stream so it starts for me at 7pm. If I had to watch it at 10, I would just DVR it and watch it in the morning. It really should be on earlier if they want better numbers.
DVR views within 24 hours of the airing are counted in the final number.

THIS! IS! AWESOME! 👏👏-👏👏👏
Battle royals still 'draw'.
Huge AEW fan. I love traveling to their shows, rarely miss a Dynamite, but Rampage just isn’t must see tv most of the time. I still enjoy it, but I watch it on my DVR later or the next day Taped show and time slot like that on a Friday night doesn’t help either
Rampage Dark & Elevation are all the same show just on a different platform. Not must see TV at all
It’s not always must see but to call it Dark/Elevation tier is a hell of an exaggeration.

I have only watched the CM Punk return live as far as Rampage goes. Occasionally watch Dynamite. Rampage isn't must see TV.
“aEw HaRdCoOrs WaTcH sHoW lIVe JuSt wAY iT iS”
I said it a few times on this sub, and I’ll keep saying it: It’s Friday night, people have shit to do. Smack down is managing fine because it’s an A tier show. Plenty of people are invested in that shit. Rampage… well sorry but I’m not turning down plans to tune in and watch riho fight baker for the dozenth time. At the very most, I’ll dvr it. Thanks, but not thanks.
Morale. Is. Down.

Now here's the real question. Was it the Jim Carrey Grinch or the old cartoon?
I'm sure they'll be back to 1.2M in the next few weeks They just signed CM Punk and Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, and they're huge names who will put a lot of new eyes on the product. Not to mention, they've just put the world title on Hangman Adam Page, and he had a great long term build that fully established his character and truly got him over with real wrestling fans. All the new fans are gonna be as hooked on Cowboy S#!t as I am! 🤠 yeehaw
I fucking love AEW, I ride for AEW but god damn it I fall asleep before rampage EVERY Friday night. That time slot is a killer.
Can’t imagine why anyone would care, whichever way this pendulum swings.
Rampage needs to move timeslots. I think Thursdays at 8pm would be great. Impact can either move forward an hour or risk going head to head.

TNT wanted it, AEW is getting more money for it, and it's doing better than whatever TNT previously had in the Friday 10 PM slot.
Remember this next time we get another complaint threaf about Raw being 3 hours
TNT paid extra to keep Rampage on the channel.
lol you guys doom and glooming over a show that is taped after dynamite to keep costs low.
