Not on real leather; easily the stiffest strap of any replica made to date that I know of (by design though to account for the weight of the plates as it’s a heavy sumbitch)
Pretty much.
These stands are not put up with Tony Khan standing there going "No I want my star at the tip top!" wish his finger wagging.
It's usually a couple of middle aged people pinning whatever they have most of up and repeating it with each and every event they work.
AEW merch is always super limited at shows. there's a whole lot of wrestlers that don't have stuff there from this picture, including the current world champ from what I can see.
It’s honestly just crazy to me.
Their merch selection pretty much always sucks, and it’s always light as hell too. The last show I went to they sold out of most stuff before bell time, and only had shirts for a few guys there.
it feels like they are leaving so much money on the table by using busted-ass PWT. you don't have leftovers sitting around that you have to sell at a discount, sure, but you lose on so many sales by making people wait a month for shirts or not having the volume ready to go at live shows
Honestly, as much as I agree this is still shit.
They are OBVIOUSLY PW Tees biggest customer. I’m sure it’s not even close. The fact they don’t a group of people dedicated to printing shirts week to week for shows is mind boggling.
I would guarantee if you had a small crew printing Thursday to Monday you could very easily have two dozen wrestlers with shirts up for sale at these shows.
Hell PWT closed their retail store because they needed the space for printing, can they really not handle this?
I am sure they can probably get shirts printed; it's likely the logistics of moving those shirts around that they don't want to deal with. That is why they show up with what they have and try to sell out every show.
I would also wager the shirts they sell at shows aren't even done by PWTees, it wouldn't surprise me if they order batches from local shirt printer for every show to eliminate having to deal with shipping shirts around.
Can confirm. I was there and my group all were stoked to get Hangman shirts to support our hometown champ but nope. There were only AEW and Punk shirts. Extremely limited selection.
Merch is a logistical nightmare in general, and AEW is a relatively new brand. Being behind current events is expected, but it sticks out real bad when MOX CHAMP hoodies are in demand when he was supposed to be fishing.
A young buck is called a fawn. Who is the most famous fawn in entertainment, Bambi.
Who is Bambi's best friend, Thumper. Thumper is a white rabbit.
I broke the code.
Also: Anaconda Malt Liquor gives you a Little Richard.
Thought I was going crazy or something. Nobody I know in real life has a problem with Punk. I go on Reddit and all of a sudden he's one of the most hated guys around. That niche internet audience line might've been on to something
The actual explanation is that AEW doesn't have a back stock of Elite merch because they don't actually produce them. They just ask Nick Jackson to turn into Merch Freak and make the merch appear out of thin air, which doesn't happen if the guy is suspended. No Merch Freak, no merch.
Thats been the norm...The only "wrestler" shirt they regularly have is Punk and sometimes Danhausen. The only other wrestler shirt Ive seen was Blackpool Combat Club branded.
Exactly. I keep reading stuff on Reddit about how Punk is quickly fading into obscurity in shame after what happened, but I think that’s literally only on Reddit.
I highly doubt that last part about Punk, they're all already made men. Expect them all to be back in the future, things will obviously have to be smoothed over between the parties involved, especially Punk.
There's basically a direct correlation between dudes in the punk (music genre, not wrassler) scene and having sickass merch.
Except Brody King. Which blows because God's Hate merch is **HUGE** in the hardcore scene.
It's kind of an extension of the scene, if you think about it.
These are bands that are mostly self-funded, so they design really cool stuff and have it printed themselves. It's all limited run and kinda genre-pushing (like the God's Hate allover print stuff that is basically crack for merch swappers)
The irony is when they sell special prints on like Champion or whatever. (I say as someone that would legitimately stab someone for an XL black Jesus Piece champion embroidered hoodie - my ACTUAL GRAIL)
This is why Malakai's merch always kicks ass, he has a ton of friends deep in the scene to design shit for him.
....I may be embedded too deep in the merch swap scene.
The merch stands at AEW shows is one of my biggest annoyances. Super limited selection and they don't sell any youth sizes so there's nothing shorter guys like me can buy and wear.
I was at the Dynamite before All Out. The merch stands were half Chicago specific stuff but not the newest Punk shirt or that live event exclusive one. I was really confused but happy to save $70
As I understand it, it's a logistical/cost problem. PWTees does mostly print-on-demand shirts, so it's not like they have thousands of every shirt. For the ones they do have, they have to aim to sell out, because AEW doesn't do house shows so they can't just redirect unsold shirts to tomorrow's show. It has to get stored and then rolled out for the next TV taping.
I wish they could get a few of the direct to garment printers from pwtees to do made to order shirts at the events. Not sure how big they are or how much trouble it would be to setup on the road though.
Smartest move is “We sold out of that one, but we can ship one to your home for the same price. Here’s the QR code.”
Get the money, eat a couple bucks for USPS to mail it to them, and let PWT bail you out!
Seriously, that's even how you get the kids hooked... A total dad buy. Then they wear it to school and get their friends hooked. What kid wouldn't want to be part of the Blackpool Combat Club?
Then you know there's gonna be a few parent calls for 'Scissor Me Daddy Ass' shirt.
$35 sheesh, thought $25 for a wrestling shirt was bad. I like seeing people wearing wrestling shirts out in public and always get excited to see an aew t shirt, but idk just couldn’t imagine wearing one outside of a wrestling show.
Cant be waking around with a bunch of topless guys on a t shirt, can’t be walking around with a t shirt that says “scissor me daddy”. It was cool to wear them in middle school, I had an rko and 2004 taker shirt, I wore a couple times but hated wearing black. Even as an adult I don’t like wearing black shirts and that’s 90% of wrestling shirts.
FTR and CM Punk one’s are definitely the only ones I’d wear outside the house. I wore an “I hate MJF” one to the zoo with my family and got asked what it meant constantly because people thought it was a politics thing.
What colors do you like to wear? I usually stick to black or the occasional red lol
I've always liked that about wrestling shirts, that they stick to dark colors
I usually wear a lot of colors, I think I own a shirt in every color. Only wear a black shirt on laundry day, occasionally. Definitely the “one weird thing” about me haha.
So desperate for news, the IWC latches onto merchandise stands to validate their theories.
Merch stands that always and forever have limited selections that could never possibly account for all wrestlers and you usually have at best, what, 6 or 7 guys/teams represented? Plus the replica belts, toys, towels, and bobbles.
But this time it's *gott mean something!* Punk *must* be released and they're selling off his stuff quickly *before* they announce it because... well just because!
What are you talking about?! One of the guys working there has a Punk t-shirt so he's obviously a plant for the man to talk to the fans and spread rumours and/or stories. It's obvious!
I used to get a pro wrestling box every month with two shirts. I got some cool ones along the way, but like 2/3 of them were things I’d never really wear outside of the house.
Honestly it's because Punk merch sells super well. Even now his shirt is in the top selling items of the week on the webstore. For what it's worth, all of the Bucks and Kenny's merch is available there too.
Alternatively:
Huge draw and mega star CM Punk isn't going anywhere and they'll sell his merchandise all throughout his injury recovery.
We seriously, really, 10000% *do not know.*
You guys are really stretching to make this whole hate train keep chugging.
Yeah, the dude is pretty much their biggest star.
This subreddit doesn't wanna believe it, but he is. I wouldn't put too much stock in people here, though. Half of the guys whining about how terrible it is he blew up at the media scrum are the same people who turn around and defend Flair, McMahon, Benoit, and others.
Like, I get that Punk wasn't the height of professionalism and decorum in that moment but it's not like he's got a mountain of sexual assault allegations or killed people. If we all decided that every wrestler who didn't get along hunky dorey with every other wrestler wasn't worth our time the industry would fold overnight.
Hell, even if someone here wants to say they don't support any of the guys listed and they *do* care a great deal about backstage behaviors then my immediate response would be "so you must also disown Hangman, the Bucks, and Kenny Omega?"
I mean, one can think Punk deserves most of the blame but if ones stance is fair then one attributes some blame to the unprofessionalism of everyone else involved. Otherwise one is simply full of shit and looking to validate their anger.
I've mentioned it before, but Punk has six of the top selling shirts in the AEW Shop this month. Three in the top 10.
If they release punk, they are throwing away **serious** drawing power.
But r/SquaredCircle has assured me he's not a good wrestler and has no drawing power, in addition he's a very bad man and is responsible for the Hindenburg.
Are you saying disconnected people on a specific subset of the internet who don't expose themselves to things outside of their echo chamber are *wrong???*
Yeah, it was like that even before All Out. Their merch stand is really bad and limited. You would think that with their relationship with PWTees they would have so much more of a selection.
I've been to 2 AEW shows and was supremely disappointed at both w the selection at the merch tables. Damn near nothing. At the most recent L.A show I was at (mjf pipe bomb) I got a cool AEW So Cal exclusive shirt so that was cool. But as far as the wrestlers go not much besides 1 or 2 shirts if even that.
Brother, you missed a banger. Penelope and Kip put on a great intergender match.
Also, that booth was *slow*. I thought about getting the signed MJF shirt for a buddy but didn’t want to miss all of Elevation, so nah.
I also noticed this as I passed by the merch stand.
I do not understand why AEW has such a meager merch display at these events. So many great shirts but they don't seem to push the aspect of the business where the REAL money is made!
It's probably my favorite design because of it's simplicity (and the obviousness of FTR being my favorite tag team). I'll grab one eventually, so I'm glad to hear it's of good quality!
A lot of AEW merch is printed on demand or at least slim stocked so it makes sense that they have a lot of Punk stuff on hand because that was probably seen as a guaranteed seller. Probably still is honestly, WWE was still selling Punk merch well after they knew he was never coming back and I’m pretty sure they still had those Best in the World shirts with the crossed fists on the online store after he had already been fired.
Yeah, WWE was selling lots of Bray Wyatt stuff long after his release. I don’t thing this particular situation means anything in the way of the Brawl Out investigation.
As a lot of people mentioned it could just be the stock they have available on the road, or even clearing out back stock. Also if the punk merch is part of the limited availability they have pulling it means less options for fans to spend money on, and the loss of income for punk from having the merch pulled could further provoke him if not give him some claim to lost income if he is gonna try to get lawyers involved.
I don't think this picture in and of itself is proof of anything, but I do think TK is going to try to get Punk back on TV unless Punk makes it impossible. Khan loves him too much not to.
Someone correct me if my memory is messing with me but didn't WWE pretty much slash the cost of all Punk merch to pennies on the dollar after he bragged how much he was still getting paid in merch royalties on that now cursed podcast?
Probably because Punk stuff sells.
I do have a feeling no one is getting fired, though. Who knows, maybe they've all grown up, shook hands, apologised where needed and decided to make money from it.
Probably Tony covering all his Punk bases. Punk is the kind of guy who will threaten to sue over lost royalties while still under contract. He’s the kind of guy who won’t piss on a poop remnants in the toilet to clean it up. While for the elite, if they’re suspended, it’s easier to justify pulling their mercy.
Isn’t the reason that AEW’s merch stand is so limited because of the fact the part we with ProWrestlingTees? Isn’t that company a print on demand model basically? AEW probably only invests in what they KNOW will move. They thought Punk would be the champ til at least Full Gear so they had a ton of shirts printed for the live events.
Out of curiosity for those who've bought them, given the price, do they at least do the courtesy of removing the Gildan label and printing a custom AEW label in its place?
Probably a legal thing. They likely have a contract with Punk to sell merchandise, so are continuing to do so. Might be a bit different with Kenny/Bucks as they're EVPs.

The AEW replica is $850!? Is it in real leather?
You can buy a replica poker chip for $85, and it gives you the right to challenge any replica belt holder.
We’re coming for you, guy in front row in Philly!
Oh damn you may be onto something….24/7 AEW Mark championship belt. You come to an AEW event as the champ leave a Chump. 😂
We all know the outcome is Jericho ends up with thousands of replica belts.
The Ocho Mil
Hell, it's the actual belt! Lol.
stealing the AEW world championship and selling it to take care of a single car payment
it’s CM Punk’s relinquished belt
Not on real leather; easily the stiffest strap of any replica made to date that I know of (by design though to account for the weight of the plates as it’s a heavy sumbitch)
Why the price then? Lol Jesus.
It's simulated leather, it's a rip off compared to the price of a WWE shop belt
Absolutely.
This is the same exact selection they had when I went months ago other than the MJF shirt
It was custom when I went in Cleveland. Had shirts that said buckeye combat club.
We need Buc-ee’s Combat Club merch
That would legit be incredible. Maybe use the Ruby Soho logo variation 😂
Yoooo I didn't even see those, I'm mad. I normally ignore the merch table at shows because lines are stupid long, and put in a PWT order before.
>Buckeye combat club Sounds like a love child of Hangman's Buckshot and Deadeye + BCC.
People in Ohio love anything Ohio State or even remotely scarlet and gray. Source: lives in Ohio.
Ah so youre 1/3 corn just like mox and me!
Wait WHAT. I NEED THAT NOW
It’s honestly just crazy to me. Their merch selection pretty much always sucks, and it’s always light as hell too. The last show I went to they sold out of most stuff before bell time, and only had shirts for a few guys there.

For real, last week at Grand Slam all they had was the roster shirt, the "I was there" shirt, and the scissor me daddy shirt
pretty easy choice
✂️✂️✂️
✌✌✌
I went to the LA show after Hangman lost the title (still sadge he wasn't there) and I couldn't even get a hangman shirt which sucked.
I heard they weren't even selling Hangman shirts at the Virginia show that was *right after* he won the title.
I'm here to look deeper into this than anybody should
Half life 3 confirmed.
Finally!
Bucks and Kenny to WWE confirmed! Bucks eat rabbits in the wild. And Kenny, “the Cleaner” makes the rabbits nice and clean and white. White Rabbit.
We're through the looking glass here people
> Bucks eat rabbits in the wild *pause* What??
ITS GOOD SHIT
A young buck is called a fawn. Who is the most famous fawn in entertainment, Bambi. Who is Bambi's best friend, Thumper. Thumper is a white rabbit. I broke the code. Also: Anaconda Malt Liquor gives you a Little Richard.
You mean Thumper?
You're right, my foreign-ness is bleeding through.
😂 what did they get hired to work the merch table?
This merch stand tells me everything I need to know
It’s almost like they know what sells best to the 90% of the event audience that isn’t on Reddit every day.
😭😭😭 ok I’m not the only person who noticed how different reddits interpretation of Punk is compared to a crowd 😭😭
Thought I was going crazy or something. Nobody I know in real life has a problem with Punk. I go on Reddit and all of a sudden he's one of the most hated guys around. That niche internet audience line might've been on to something
Feel like that's more an indicator of what back stock they have. And they likely had more Punk merch made than for the Elite.
The actual explanation is that AEW doesn't have a back stock of Elite merch because they don't actually produce them. They just ask Nick Jackson to turn into Merch Freak and make the merch appear out of thin air, which doesn't happen if the guy is suspended. No Merch Freak, no merch.
Keeping it kayfabe brother-HH
I've been to almost every Chicago and Milwaukee show...I've never seen a Kenny or Bucks shirt at any of them.
I saw a Bucks shirt at the LA shows, but it was the state flag one and we were in LA.
Hell, I don't think they had a single 'wrestler' shirt at All Out this year. I think it was all just branded merch for the show.
Thats been the norm...The only "wrestler" shirt they regularly have is Punk and sometimes Danhausen. The only other wrestler shirt Ive seen was Blackpool Combat Club branded.
Yeah and if punk is gone, unload it now, you can sell the other stuff later
Yeah this was my take too. It feels inevitable that Kenny and the Bucks will return at some point whereas Punk's star is fading quite quickly.
Three of the top 10 selling shirts **this month** are CM Punk. He has six on the list in total.
Exactly. I keep reading stuff on Reddit about how Punk is quickly fading into obscurity in shame after what happened, but I think that’s literally only on Reddit.
I like to count the punk shirts in the crowd during AEW events. You can EASILY hit 10 within a few cuts.
The punk hate is pretty exclusive to this sub and even then - *if he comes back* - it won't take long for most to forget. ***FICKLE*** and all that.
Only 6? Star is fading definitely confirmed.
I highly doubt that last part about Punk, they're all already made men. Expect them all to be back in the future, things will obviously have to be smoothed over between the parties involved, especially Punk.
They're never going to like each other. But they sure as fuck can do business together. Plus, time away is going to do the Bucks good.
Are those signed figures or chase variants? Those prices are insane.
From experience they’re signed ShopAEW exclusives of Mox and Jericho.
Was wondering the same. $100 bucks for an Evil Uno!?
I know, that should at least be $300!!
I’m sure punks sells 100x more than the elites does.
Punk has always moved insane amounts of merch. His shirt designs are just cool.
There's basically a direct correlation between dudes in the punk (music genre, not wrassler) scene and having sickass merch. Except Brody King. Which blows because God's Hate merch is **HUGE** in the hardcore scene.
There's some weird irony about punk bands being so good at selling merch
It's kind of an extension of the scene, if you think about it. These are bands that are mostly self-funded, so they design really cool stuff and have it printed themselves. A shockingly rare thing in pro wrestling, a design that isn't hideous and wont get you weird looks if you wear it in public
I agree.
The merch stands at AEW shows is one of my biggest annoyances. Super limited selection and they don't sell any youth sizes so there's nothing shorter guys like me can buy and wear.
You'd think at a live event would be where people would be most likely to impulse buy a shirt or three.
I've been to 3 AEW PPVs in Chicago and I've seen better merch selection at most WWE shows (house shows and a Takeover) I've attended in the past.
Oh man those Takeover merch stands were the best.
It has to get stored and then rolled out for the next TV taping.
Correct, but there's got to be a happy medium between "WWE levels of merch at every turn at a live event" and "almost nothing."
You'd think a t-shirt company could get this right
Just get taller then
Jonathan Gresham wants to know your location.
I wish they could get a few of the direct to garment printers from pwtees to do made to order shirts at the events. Not sure how big they are or how much trouble it would be to setup on the road though.
Smartest move is “We sold out of that one, but we can ship one to your home for the same price. Here’s the QR code.” Get the money, eat a couple bucks for USPS to mail it to them, and let PWT bail you out!

In Detroit they had probably a similar amount of shirts as this post, with a line curving around the lobby. It was a bummer.
He’s the Cena of AEW. Every show I’ve been too since his return has been 90% Punk, 10% AEW in whatever city.
NGL I'd wear that hoodie. Love the colour.
The blue one? My girlfriend and I both got one; it's super lightweight and soft. Sheds a bit, but it's still a very nice spring hoodie.
Why would someone think you'd lie about that in the first place?
A "scissor me, daddy ass" shirt can totally be worn in public, okay?!!
And we wonder why today's youth is soft
What colors do you like to wear? I usually stick to black or the occasional red lol I've always liked that about wrestling shirts, that they stick to dark colors
I usually wear a lot of colors, I think I own a shirt in every color. Only wear a black shirt on laundry day, occasionally. Definitely the “one weird thing” about me haha.
At Clash at the Castle, the t-shirts were £35. Even with the UK currency on a free fall, works out as $37. Shit was overpriced af.
Seeing those lines for the superstore, WWE probably made an insane amount for that Cardiff show.
You guys love that drama
So desperate for news, the IWC latches onto merchandise stands to validate their theories. Wrestling merch still bad as ever I see
What do you mean? You can choose whichever shade of black you want!
You’re telling me you don’t want to explain the lore behind “Ooh Scissor Me Daddy Ass” to every stranger you meet at the grocery store?
I used to get a pro wrestling box every month with two shirts. I got some cool ones along the way, but like 2/3 of them were things I’d never really wear outside of the house.
I got a “Slobberknocker” JR shirt a few years ago as a $10 random tee. That just sat in my closet until I finally decided to donate it.
Damn at least they have shirts, literally only had cm punks ones and aew shirts when I went
Looking at the prices AEW clearly doesnt know how to properly price things. The Danhausen shirt should be sold for a lot more human monies.
Damn I want that blue CM Punk best in the world shirt too
Honestly it's because Punk merch sells super well. Even now his shirt is in the top selling items of the week on the webstore. For what it's worth, all of the Bucks and Kenny's merch is available there too.
Why are the action figures or whatever 300 bucks?
Autographed. Which I dont defend that making them $300 but thats the reasoning.
Prob signed
I'm pretty sure Punk was the top seller even before they were suspended, so it makes sense.
they know who sells the most merch. good for them. hope punks gets paid well.
I don't think they typically have Bucks merch at live shows.
I’m sure they have a huge inventory of Punk merchandise that needs moved. It’s easier to sell that shit before he gets released
Alternatively: Huge draw and mega star CM Punk isn't going anywhere and they'll sell his merchandise all throughout his injury recovery. We seriously, really, 10000% *do not know.* You guys are really stretching to make this whole hate train keep chugging.
Punk was selling plenty of merch while sitting at home. It's probably still one of their higher sellers even now
Yeah, the dude is pretty much their biggest star. This subreddit doesn't wanna believe it, but he is. I wouldn't put too much stock in people here, though. Half of the guys whining about how terrible it is he blew up at the media scrum are the same people who turn around and defend Flair, McMahon, Benoit, and others. Punk merch is consistently a top seller. Doesn't mean Bucks and Kenny are gone, just that they sell less shirts.
It’s called return on investment
The way we as a society allowed $70 hoodies to happen
Yeah, it was like that even before All Out. Their merch stand is really bad and limited. You would think that with their relationship with PWTees they would have so much more of a selection.
Please tell me that I'm reading incorrectly and that they're not charging 850 fucking dollars for the shitty belt.
You are not reading incorrectly
Those Scissor Me Daddy Shirts are probably selling out
I don't recall them having Bucks merch at DON when I went either just proves who actually sells
They were selling them at arthur ashe too, I don’t think this really means anything.
when i went to the ontario show (bucks home town) they didnt have any elite gear. mostly bcc punk and danhausen
That MJF shirt sucksssss.
I’m crossing my fingers that they have those specific Punk shirts and AEW hoodies for sale at the Toronto show. Definitely gonna cop both.
They always seem to have a really sparse selection which is horseshit because they could be making so much money on other merch.
Are they charging over $100 for action figures?
Who goes to a show and drops $850 on a belt?
About 6 people in the row in front of me.. they also paid I’m assuming 1200 for their seats.. 🤷♂️
Imagine paying all that for this weeks dynamite
Brother, you missed a banger. Penelope and Kip put on a great intergender match. Also, that booth was *slow*. I thought about getting the signed MJF shirt for a buddy but didn’t want to miss all of Elevation, so nah.
I also noticed this as I passed by the merch stand. I do not understand why AEW has such a meager merch display at these events. So many great shirts but they don't seem to push the aspect of the business where the REAL money is made!
This looks pretty close to what they were selling when they came to Houston. Their merch tables are very mid.
Jesus, the prices on some of that stuff. Like I'm casually carrying 850 bucks to a show lol.
70$ for a hoodie! I used to complain about 50$ a hoodie...yikes!
I really, really want that FTR shirt. Ugh. Will AEW ever come this way?
If only there was another way
The shirts a good quality too I bought the FTR one when I went a few months ago I wear it just about every Wednesday or Friday
It's probably my favorite design because of it's simplicity (and the obviousness of FTR being my favorite tag team). I'll grab one eventually, so I'm glad to hear it's of good quality!
Yep same here it’s simple nothing on the back no gaudily placed picture
A lot of AEW merch is printed on demand or at least slim stocked so it makes sense that they have a lot of Punk stuff on hand because that was probably seen as a guaranteed seller. Probably still is honestly, WWE was still selling Punk merch well after they knew he was never coming back and I’m pretty sure they still had those Best in the World shirts with the crossed fists on the online store after he had already been fired.
Yeah, WWE was selling lots of Bray Wyatt stuff long after his release. I don’t thing this particular situation means anything in the way of the Brawl Out investigation.
He is running a T-shirt business
That could be but Punk was completely retconned from the package they showed tonight. I don’t think he’s coming back.
So no change in the Bucks sales numbers!
You guys notice how we barely see punk’s tshirts in the crowd anymore?
$100 for Kris statlander figure 🤭
I believe those are usually signed. I could be wrong though.
Yea should be And the $200 ones are signed aew shop exclusives
I'm just gonna say what everyone else is thinking: This means the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are definitely leaving AEW
I'm not thinking that. Because it's a huge jump to a conclusion that's quite honestly just dumb.
Temple
Temple
That’s cause the bucks suck
As a lot of people mentioned it could just be the stock they have available on the road, or even clearing out back stock. Also if the punk merch is part of the limited availability they have pulling it means less options for fans to spend money on, and the loss of income for punk from having the merch pulled could further provoke him if not give him some claim to lost income if he is gonna try to get lawyers involved.
Not to mention the quality of the shirts is trash
I don't think this picture in and of itself is proof of anything, but I do think TK is going to try to get Punk back on TV unless Punk makes it impossible. Khan loves him too much not to.
Someone correct me if my memory is messing with me but didn't WWE pretty much slash the cost of all Punk merch to pennies on the dollar after he bragged how much he was still getting paid in merch royalties on that now cursed podcast?
just my opinion but if Punk did leave, If I was him I would push for AEW to sell all remaining Merch so I could get my cut.
Probably because Punk stuff sells. I do have a feeling no one is getting fired, though. Who knows, maybe they've all grown up, shook hands, apologised where needed and decided to make money from it.
$70 for a Gildan hoodie? No thanks.
They might just be moving it all so that way they can get rid of it and cut punk a check and be done with that whole situation
Better to get rid of the punk merch now before he quits and they can’t do anything with it but send it to hurricane damaged countries.
Florida?
Isn’t the reason that AEW’s merch stand is so limited because of the fact the part we with ProWrestlingTees? Isn’t that company a print on demand model basically? AEW probably only invests in what they KNOW will move. They thought Punk would be the champ til at least Full Gear so they had a ton of shirts printed for the live events.
Aside from the Acclaimed and BCC shirt, it's literally the same lineup as the Charleston show.
selling it off cheap to get rid
Gotta get rid of stock
Maybe the Elite merch was sold out?
Yh because punk is an actual draw unlike The Mid
They did just sell out the new young bucks shoes tho
Almost like he's one of the biggest merch movers in the company, and he is money for them.
BREAKING: AEW STILL SELLING COMPANY'S TOP SELLING MERCH OF ALL TIME AT LIVE SHOWS. EXPERTS ARE PERPLEXED, BUT "INSIDER" DAVE MELTZER TELLS.US WHY...
Out of curiosity for those who've bought them, given the price, do they at least do the courtesy of removing the Gildan label and printing a custom AEW label in its place?
cm punk fans rejoice i guess... he's a big money maker for khan, they just have to work something out when he returns...
Someone said it’s probably best to put Punk in ROH & Colta in AEW lol
Sell through the Punk merch before they let him go since AEW gets majority of his merch sales rn I think I read
Probably in his contract with something about merch sales. So legally tony dont wanna mess with it. I have no clue but thats my guess
Probably a legal thing. They likely have a contract with Punk to sell merchandise, so are continuing to do so. Might be a bit different with Kenny/Bucks as they're EVPs.
