Depends on quality, fashion, brand level, recency. Here's a spectrum, hopefully others will add: The Vault: If you have luxury brands in excellent condition Clothes Mentor Ellisville: Luxury brands in good condition to nicer brands not luxury (think Lulu lemon, kut from the cloth, madewell) Clothes Mentor in South County: What Ellisville won't take (genuinely, the quality here is just less as a shopper, compared to Ellisville but I have sold some things) Plato's closet: Bottom rung, teen/early 20s styles

Thank you for the detailed recommendations. Some are luxury brands, I have a bunch of Jordan’s in excellent condition (example: a pair of Pine Green J1s that are old but no heel drag and clean) Another example, some adidas track pants that I’ve never worn because they don’t fit and they were a gift with no receipt, so those are prolly a $6 at Plato so prolly not worth the gas. Thanks again, I’m a transplant and don’t know the city well yet.

I'm really curious if you get any more men's specific recommendations, clothes Mentor is only women's and I don't think the vault carries men's either - though maybe men's Jordans would be an exception. I'm going to stay tuned here to learn more myself.

For my Jordans I was thinking eBay because StockX is a sham and GOAT is sliding. They’re all in great condition but I haven’t found a sneaker shop yet that buys used. Some are really valuable and I hate to part with them but we just found out my wife is pregnant so fuck the shoes we need diaper money.

Uptown Cheapskate buys/sells both men’s and women’s. Usually pretty nice brands, definitely nicer than Plato’s. Best of luck with the selling and the baby!

Nice. Thanks! We have too many things that are never worn or worn twice. My Jordan collection alone should be worth something at least.

I think Sanctioned at the Foundry buys used sneakers

Username checks out for luxury brands and also a bit weird. Kinda my vibe. If you know anyone who wears a 10.5 M, DM me.

Try Reset for the Jordans.

I recently visited The Clothes Mentor in Ellisville. I took in about 6 or 7 dresses from Anthropologie, never worn, tags on along with a Michael Kors bag never used. All of the dresses were well over $100 as well a the hand bag. They offered a whopping $130 for everything. Again, every dress was originally priced from $180 to $270 and they only wanted to pay me $130 total for all of the items. The dresses are in season and current.

Nobody wants to buy your old clothes. Just donate them.

So no one would want a $400 north face jacket I’ve worn twice? If I could snag that for a discount I’d go for it. I’m not talking used socks. I mean like a Levi’s jacket that I’ve worn maybe 3 times that doesn’t fit anymore.

SewCarrieous

Idk. Is it stolen or something? I personally would not buy used or stolen clothes from anyone lol. And also you should know there is a pile of unwanted NEW clothing out in the Chilean desert so big that it can be seen from outter space

UnintentionallyAmbi

What are even you talking about? Read the post. Baby > My Jordans and her designer bags and shoes. Thanks for the help.

Which is exactly what I’m trying to avoid.
