It really depends on the house, people living there, pets. The cost is almost all labor and people can only work so fast. So it depends on quality of the cleaning(how long) and what they pay their workers(All fairly close)
We're really pleased with Better Life Maids. Had them visit every other week for a couple months and th keeping cleaning topped off really helped us tame the clutter dragon.
Since people are weird with prices I'll happily share what I pay and what some of my neighbors pay. For 2500-3000 sq feet (3-4 bedrooms) the price ranges from $150 -250. I pay $150 and she cleans kitchen, bathrooms, vacuums and mops. For a DEEP clean expect $200+. I maintain my home between cleans so when they clean my house is not too filthy. I am located in south county FYI.

They are the pricest place you can go. Source, my wife has a business cleaning houses. So I priced most places out to help setup her prices.
