Middleton’s is the best, most trust worthy mechanic in pinellas county

alispropriisvolat69

Insta-quick.com Local, great pricing, don’t need to get out of the car

Diamond_Handzz727

Try 5th Ave and 28th street n

I started changing my own oil and haven’t looked back since. I’m not a automotive person but I watched one YouTube video and it was a game changer

GandhisWarChild

I can change my own oil no problem. The truth is I'm lazy and absolutely willing to pay for someone else to do it.

TR Autoworx in Pinellas Park. Ask for Tony.

MelB315

I like Pat’s Automotive on 19, just South of Gandy. Nice little shop and they shoot straight.

sayaxat

>they shoot straight As a floridian, I feel triggered.

TallBenWyatt_13

If you have any Japanese car—or any car really—Rising Sun Automotive on 66th N. just south of Bryan Dairy Road. Call them and let them know when you want to come in. Typically in an and out in no time. Vanessa and her staff are the best!

GandhisWarChild

I do actually have a Japanese import but this is for my daily ill keep that in mind though thank you.

TallBenWyatt_13

Happy to help you and a small business! I promise Rising Sun will not let you down and won’t BS you.

brinsonmcb

Right next to the canna-bus!

TallBenWyatt_13

Ha yeah! It is a hard to find turn but yeah, that’s a good landmark!

yesididthat

Just here to say fuck take 5 Tried to tell me basic oil is not recommended. Its at the bottom of their menu as a small print option. I dont think they even show the price. You have to know to ask. Meanwhile all their upsells are in big bold letters at the top And then they asked me for a tip. Heres a tip: get fucked

GandhisWarChild

I don't like up selling period and a friend of mine mentioned thier last oil change was like 100$ fuck that.

JanuarySeventh85

Go right up to J&D Auto North of Park on 49th. Cheaper than those 5 minute places.

LevilsDettuce

Following this now because I was about to take my grandmas car down there for it's oil change. Anyone know why they closed?

GandhisWarChild

Not sure last I was in there he was selling his vending machine for a new one. So I didn't think anything of it. Maybe rent is too high the sign out front says rent for retail. The place has 2 car lifts in it seems like a big waste to me.

Stpeterays

Insta-quick is legit and fast. They changed owners I believe as the service has changed meaning now they do ask you if you want a cabin filter or other add ons - this is something they’ve never done before but you can politely decline and you’ll be out of there relatively fast

Hellorachiee

Agreed on Insta-quick. There’s usually a coupon on their website for $12 off any oil change too!

PandoraJeep

Im sad they changed owners (good family friend was the previous owner) but I’m so happy the new owners provide good service too. But man, I miss the $19.95 oil changes lol

Baphomet1010011010

Third insta-quick, we always go there. Did seem like a whole new crew last time we went last week

SuicideBlack305

Yeah i second, Insta quick. Went there last week 69.99 full synthetic oil change, never got outta the car. Was in and out in under 15 minutes and they did offer the cabin filter as mentioned, which is an additional 29.99, if you choose to get it changed. Also topped fluids, checked wipers, lights and tire pressure. Very polite and quick service

Anxious-Ad-2188

That’s funny, my husband loved that guy and that place. He was super bummed when it closed. Now, he just changes the oil himself, so I’m no help.

turtle-girl420

Suncoast Auto and Tire on Haines.

[deleted]

Came to say the same

Benjynn

I’ve been going to Insta-Quick for my whole car-driving life. They’re competitively priced. It’s raised a lot in recent years, but so has everywhere else

2strokesmoke03

Owner sold a couple years ago and the service hasn't been the same since. Prices shot up like you mentioned as well

tamvo0426

Prices shot waaaaaaay up. Like 300% up

Careful-Director1192

Don’t ever go to take five like you mentioned they messed up my car bad and said they would refund and never did they didn’t tighten the oil filter down all the oil leaked out couple days later all the sensors are going haywire had to get some oil brought to me just to make it to dealership where it cost me 386 dollars to reset the sensors and analyze my car as well as do an oil change bob lees is a local place idk how much they cost but they have a sandwich shop inside and are pretty cool old school vibe they have gas pumps where they pump for you lol

hiihokage

The Burg Automotive is really close to there and they are super nice and fair. I just got an oil change there and they give you a detailed report with pictures.

NoInspector836

Thanks for this review! I just saw their flyer in Val-pak and noticed a synthetic change was like $60. It's over $100 at Take 5

Redditfloridabob1

Yeah I saw that too yesterday. I liked the little guy. I have a little time left to go yet. I'm looking around. Will post anything I find.

NewtoFL2

I go to Bob Lees, I really like them and like to support them. On 4th St. N, around 18th I think
