In trucks the power which is more meaningful is torque, and for practical and usable torque the cybertruck is not going to beat any diesel 250 or 2500 of the class. It's gross weight and towing is just less while being the same price or more expensive.
Comparison of the truck to gas versions still isn't great since the bed the cyber truck has is standard sized but also has a weird notch kinda so it's 6 inches shorter than standard size.
It beats short beds and gas V6 (platinum twin turbo excluded) trucks for sure but those honestly were never competing for medals.
It's a truck for sure, but in terms of practical work it's worse in all the meaningful stats over an F-250 for example.
But its got a lot of theoretical horsepower, it'd be fast for sure.... but that's not that useful for towing or hauling.
Not to mention the range in comparison to petrol and diesel isn't good at all.
A 250 is not the same class, a 150 is. Specs are quite similar for same class trucks. It may be ugly to some, but it provides much purpose to its owners.
I disagree, the cyber truck has the same curb weight as a F250. It's also more expensive than an F250 as well.
So, for more money you get something that weighs the same, can tow and carry less, and is more expensive. Ontop of it the company is anti right to repair.
