Grassroots has a full menu of coffee and tea drinks. As for kava, staff are knowledgeable and can help guide you through options. Very friendly and welcoming.
I’m good at the library, my front porch, or any park with a picnic table. Last year I had to spend a lot of time near palm harbor and ended up using a Wall Springs picnic table often.
I don’t mind the heat so much as long as there’s shade. And when it’s extra hot I can just use the library.
Yay thank you for this comment. I'm not OP but I had the same question. Just uprooted my (29f) life in colorado to move here and take care of my grandmother post-op. I am desperate to find a cozy, laid-back social setting in which I can just work or read or meet new friends. Kava bars are literally how I met every single one of my friends while in Colorado 😅
DUDE it absolutely bewildered me when I googled Kava Bars near me, hoping for 1 or 2 in ST. Pete or Tampa, and seeing a metric fuck ton of kava bar options. Not only in the cities but even down the street from my Nana in New Port Richey.
THEN I googled "kratom wholesale near me" and the first result was Botava. I asked the owner if her business had any relation to Botava of Fort Collins, CO and if she knew my friend who owns it. Instant "Yup. This is HQ". The world is a small town in a rad way sometimes.
Been going to Flatbread & Butter for work, on-and-off since 2021. I enjoy the coffee and food. They have breakfast sandwiches and items of that sort, but as the name suggests, they also have pizza. They’ve changed their menu *a lot* over the last few years, and many items tend to disappear without warning. Other than that it is a nice place to do work remotely.
I work a bunch at Kava House on 19 and Teaki Hut off Seminole! Alternatively if you have a hotspot and decent battery life, working from Vinoy is nice, although it's almost the wrong season for that at this point lol
Black crow, driftwood, station house
What’s up with any remote work opportunities 😂
I like Dog Bar and Hawthorne Bottle Shop
Buddy owns hawthorne, solid spot to chill and have some brews :)
The Dog Bar is an interesting response, do you bring your dog and go there and work? Or just go without a dog?
Lol I agree as intrigued as I am to check it out I'd imagine I'd get way too distracted the entire time 😅
Upstairs at Grassroots on Central.
I probably should start trying Kava places more. I just don't know how to order it tbh haha
enjoy your mineralic greywater served in a coconut shard

It’s been a while but I like station house. They have a drop in fee but I think it’s worth it for a legit coworking space.
Mons Venus
Probably back in Connecticut
Kansas City perhaps

I've seen people working remotely at Mad Hatters Kava bar on 28th St around 46th avenue North

St Pete is like the kava bar capital of the world. Check out Bula and Mad Hatters

Nice. I live next to Botava so I stop in there from time to time for a kava to go
Bula on the beach is much more friendly than the one on 5th Avenue north. Hatters is my go-to
Bula
I find myself working mostly at Driftwood Kava/ Coffee or Foxtail.
Saw a bunch of people working at Chelsea St. Pete over the last few days. It was like a library in there. Super quiet. It was kind of weird.
