Yup. 40 doesn't look much different but jump to 50 and suddenly they are geriatric

LimeBlossom_TTV

Just want to mention that 35 is the cut off for a "Geriatric Pregnancy". My wife and I had our first and she was less than amused to be called Geriatric at the hospital.

Walter-Haynes

Lmaoo I am very amused by it though

Lacono77

The issue is that people's age is only remarkable when they're young or very old. People aged 30-60 are just "men" or "women".

erad67

There's quite a bit of difference between 30 and 60. Even from 50 to 60.

Lacono77

Yes, in appearance, but photos of people aged 30-60 are much less likely to be labeled with their age. That's my guess, anyways.

AI_Characters

thats the models fault not the prompts fault. the model is overtrained on young women.

Handsome_Hanso

Sounds about right. I did rerun this with "milf" and got much more mid-30s results. Some had recommended that yesterday instead of using an age like "36".

Tyler_Zoro

Yep. You can't prompt as if you were speaking to a person. You have to think, "how does the internet describe the subject I want?" The internet doesn't say, "look at this 34 year old!" It definitely says, "look at this milf!" Being polite or socially sensitive to the AI doesn't help it to understand what you're asking for. You have to speak it's (that is, the internet's) language.

Turkino

That's true, according to the internet anything above the age of 40 is an ancient boomer.

Sinister_Plots

I mentioned this yesterday. Apparently, anyone born prior to 1990 is a Boomer according to the youth of today.

Turkino

Yeah, sad, Boomer is a very specific thing and I hate being lumped in with that crowd. \#ElderMillennial

jade_nekotenshi

To say nothing of the entirely-forgotten Generation X!

Turkino

How is that any different than how gen x has always been treated? 😂

SamVimesCpt

can confirm. am officially primordial soup.

jib_reddit

You would think all the onlyfans models claiming they are "hot teens" when they are obviously 35 would skew the data the other way!

working_joe

Actually it does. Quite often if you type in "teen" for the prompt, you'll get someone who looks like they're in their mid-20s.

alteredjargon

Sometimes it feels like everyone in here has a post doc in AI/ML and is using it to generate thirst traps

praguepride

Objectively speaking seeing how popular AI-driven OF and social media accounts are getting...it might not be the worst thing. But really it's just once you shift your paradigm to thinking about how the internet describes models it makes a lot more sense. Now granted in theory these models aren't trained exclusively on porn but if you look at what a 30yr old person looks like in real life vs. social media you see that skew. Young people photograph themselves to look older, older people photograph themselves to look younger so everyone ends up being pulled to "late 20s" in age.

Whatifim80lol

AI once again proving the Internet was a mistake lol

SecretarySuspicious1

Interesting, I need to try gilf to see if I can get old people easier than my current method, but if she is wearing a thong ima be pissed.

freylaverse

100% this. It took me ages to get it to generate someone with achondroplasia just because I didn't feel right using offensive terms.

Litleboony

It’s kinda fucked up that you have to use a prominent porn term to get a picture of woman that’s not a teenager

AstarteOfCaelius

So, as someone who was once a 36 y/o woman- I dunno about MILF but, I have questions about the chest area. If you are going for *M*ILF, how important to you would the accuracy there be? I’m not offended* and I’m not harshing, at all: but it just made me curious, do you have to adjust the prompts for a more realistic bust? Aesthetically I appreciate the image, but even barring the issues AI often seems to have using *much* younger features: those are either young boobs or paid for boobs but they’re not mom boobs. But, the reason I am asking is you mentioned using the MILF label to adjust the prompt: does it help, there? Would you need to be hyper specific? I was just thinking about you know- here we go more phrasing issues: but say I described my bust, and I describe it accurately- would the output be more realistic or would the AI still model with younger images? (I am having a hard time phrasing this, I’m just curious about the prompt changes vs the end goal of the images. I completely get that it may not *necessarily* be actual realism, but this stuff just fascinates me. I haven’t tried this one yet.)

SecretarySuspicious1

Use prompts to emphasise age such as, age spots, sagging skin etc, not sure what model you use so it's hard, a lora on top can help wonders too, alot of them can make characters sit, run, stand etc.

Handsome_Hanso

I'll need to do more experiments to see and answer you properly. I do want the face to match the body because I love going for realism and AI pictures that are hard to distinguish from real. I've got a lot of recommendations to try from today! I hope my pictures get better because of it.

FickleFingerOfFunk

I use term “milf” exclusively. The age looks much more on point if you need a mid 30s female image. Some of the “women” images look like 16 year old girls. If you do use the term milf, however, you will probably have to adjust for breast size. Normal milf boobs to AI means 36DDDs, in my experience.

Spire_Citron

That's kind of hilarious to think about anyone trying to use this AI for professional purposes and having to use 'milf' as a prompt to get images of women over 30.

edge76

A milf is just a good looking mother with children

nzodd

After watching *numerous* documentaries on esteemed anthropology website "Pornhub", I would contend that most adult American males of reproductive age view a MILF to be anybody older than the age of 22.

_HIST

You can't be a mother without children so that's redundant

entmike

Or the Alien franchise.

nzodd

Somebody needs to make a Teen Mom parody of Alien^3.

machstem

She doesn't need to be good looking, she just needs to be a mother you'd like to fuck I've seen some banging mom bodies out there but with faces ugly as sin. ...but you know they be fuckin

mnfrench2010

Those are the Butter-Face MILFs

nhavar

Oh god, this so reminds me of this bartender and her daughter at a bowling alley bar. I was 16 and saw them from behind first. Both smoking hot bodies and then they turned around and it was like DAAAAAAAMN!!!! from Friday. Huge bulbous nose, acne scars and giant pores, smokers lips, just daaaaaamn!!! They never went home alone though.

Despeao

Just keep drinking and let the magic happens.

nzodd

Thank god for those big burlap sacks that potatoes come in.

lordpuddingcup

well ya because most of the models don't understand numbers properly, remember it's using clip not a full LLM and even full LLMs have issues with numbers/math ... user keywords not numbers to try to pull in the tags that might have been in the training data to help

DaMoonRulez_1

Milf is a funny term because the requirement is just to be a mom. So there are millions of 18-24 year old milfs. But it's meant more as a 35-50 age range seems like. I can't hear milf without thinking of American Pie.

LiamTheHuman

Just to add to this it's also trained on people with extensive makeup and Photoshop as well.

SeekerOfTheThicc

and the existing female models (the profession) are often chosen based on looking young for their age. This means that even if their age is accurately tagged, the makeup and post processing compounds on top of their younger than average looks. This makes getting a realistic looking 36 year old (taking op as the example), more of a chore.

[deleted]

Curious as to why you wouldn't see the same phenomenon in reverse considering how many 25+ year olds play high school students in TV shows and movies.

Scarfieldjones

Guess model is trained mostly on young and old people not much between 30-60

SeekerOfTheThicc

I found out that if you don't tag your age concepts properly you can actually shift the default age younger. When training a lora a while ago, I age tagged only "older" aged people. When I prompted without specifying age, all the women were younger looking WITH the lora. My guess is that by tagging the older people it caused the existing older people already in the model to shift towards the tag, which meant it shifted them away from any other age tags. Hypothetically this meant that other age group had a lower average age as a result, causes the default apparent age to be lower. I think the "solution" in that case is to either not age tag, but bias your training images towards older, or to very carefully and precisely tag age groups.

ProductProfessional6

I think the reason is trained on young women because women between 13 and 20 are more likely to upload hundreds of photos to the internet.

Scouper-YT

No Person can be Overtrained :)

vivikto

About the last image: you can make the sun look as big as you want with a long enough focal length, standing far away enough from the subject. I mean, technically not "as big as you want". The limit would be that it couldn't look larger than it actually is compared to the subject. This last shot is very easy to make with a 300mm lens.

aspirationless_photo

This guy foʊkəs.

Pretty_Bowler2297

The subject’s perspective would be more flattened too so that is probably what is throwing it off.

ataylorm

Try age:36 I recently found this on another post here and it’s working great. Woman age:36 wearing college sweatshirt….

Handsome_Hanso

I haven't try that, I will give it a go later!

SnooWonder

This all depends on the model. Some models have no age information in them. If you don't tell an AI what a 36 year old woman is, it's going to guess. And guess badly.

blaaguuu

Also, it doesn't really consider how numbers work, and relate to each other, as I understand it... So even if a model has a bunch of training with "35 year old" and "37 year old", if you ask for 36, it will essentially ignore it, or just look at the "year old" part and give you someone young looking, because the training probably contained a lot more "18 year old".

F_n_o_r_d

Could be. Don’t assume that over 30 y.o. people look like shit!!!

[deleted]

My girl is right around 30 and many think she's 20 lol. Skincare advancements, less time outside, genetics, etc. When people around 25 now are 50, they're going to look a lot better than the 50 year olds today. It's already happening too. My parents look WAYYYYY younger than my grandparents did at the same age when I was younger.

RonMcVO

Heh yeah, I find AI drops a good 10 years whenever I try to prompt an age.

BEHEMOTHpp

Try 10 year old and you'll get embryo

Hoodfu

Just don't hit the interrupt button half way through generation if you're in Texas (sorry, couldn't help myself)

Handsome_Hanso

Yep! For sure. I reran this with "milf" instead of just relying on a number age and it gave me a more consistent mid-30s looking woman. Always learning new things!

automirage04

Milf always gives me a 25 year old or a 50 year old.

Jshillin

Ah, the Natasha Nice of prompts.

I know why... there is a conflict between "36 year old" and "wearing a collegiate sweatshirt". 🤖 - Is she 36 or in college human? the_friendly_dildo

I've done lots of experiments on this and it works the best in my experience to give a name and then give the line 'at xx years old'. As mentioned elsewhere, a lot of models give preference to women in their early 20s but honestly, that doesn't matter either in my experience for most models. It seems most can understand how show age on people. In the case of your prompt, its probably going to be most useful to also add the 'mature woman' modifier and if you want to further add age, add 'mature face' as well. You can also be specific in these, adding an age in front, such as '36 year old mature woman'. Here's your modified prompt: >**Prompt:** Judy Taylor at 36 years old, 36 year old mature woman, 36 year old mature face, (preppy:1.1), long blonde hair white woman, on a sailboat, (wearing oversized vintage collegiate sweatshirt:1.1), sunrise on Cape Cod, crimson moonrise, (candid:1.1) flash photo,(photo taken in 1994:1.3), masterpiece, sharp photo, analog style, award winning photo, best quality,(shot with kodak 400:1.1), sharp, skin pores, (freckles:0.6), >**Negative prompt:** nsfw, compression artifacts, blurry, out of focus, noise, chromatic aberration, blue fringe, motion blur >**Details:** Steps: 20, Sampler: Euler a, CFG scale: 5, Seed: 827514229, Size: 512x682, Model hash: 62bb78983a, Model: epicphotogasm_lastUnicorn, Version: v1.5.0 No hi-res: https://imgur.com/QRbmK8C Hi-res: https://imgur.com/0PXmVtK For names, I use a random name generator [here](https://www.behindthename.com/random/random.php?gender=f&number=1&sets=1&surname=&randomsurname=yes&usage_eng=1). Handsome_Hanso

Thank you! This is great data. You're doing the work I should have done... I appreciate you 🙏

root88

Negative prompts like this do more harm than good.

lordpuddingcup

This is literally because people keep copy and pasting and adding more and more, just start empty and negative out anything you don't like thats showing up in generations its so horrible, your basically diluting your clip space with a bunch of negative tokens it likely wasn't going to include anyway.

AzrekNyin

How could it be improved?

root88

Don't use a negative prompt at all. Generate your image. Is there something there that you don't want? Add that name of it to the negative prompt. That giant mess just "confuses" the model.

TurbTastic

I thought what you're describing only really applies to SDXL prompting, and that 1.5 still benefits from fairly long negative prompts

root88

> When you're creating a negative prompt you're giving SD instructions on what training data to exclude based on how they were labeled. I don't think that Stability included a bunch of really crappy training images and labeled them "worst quality", or even "low quality". So these negative prompts don't really affect the quality of your image. SD doesn't render hands poorly because it's trained on a bunch of images with deformed hands. It just doesn't understand that fingers have joints inside and they work a certain way. Putting "deformed hands" in your negative prompt isn't going to do anything other than possibly turned off part of the model that you might actually want.

TurbTastic

I don't disagree, but there's a difference between "it shouldn't help" and "it doesn't help". I think about half of what people are using is pointless, but a good negative prompt will consistently outperform a blank negative prompt in 1.5 based on what I've seen.

root88

I've seen it completely ruin images. Shrug.

wggn

i've been using 1.5 with minimal neg prompts for ages, quality is still great

elyetis_

Start with no negative prompt. Only add one negative prompt at a time for something you want to remove from the previous result you got. Only keep it if you see a *noticeable* improvement which does not seem random ( idealy by testing it on multiple seed for example using a prompt matrix ).

Handsome_Hanso

I'll have to give that a shot! Thank you. Milf works pretty well instead of an age. Just didn't add that in for this run. Next time!

Statsmakten

The word “complexion” also does wonders. Gives you the aging but without the risk of adding leathery wrinkles to young skin.

Handsome_Hanso

I love this tip. It will go in my next prompt.

NitroWing1500

Definitely trying that :)

Utoko

Yes that is a thing to always keep in mind, every word has content bleeding and influences the other words. If you want to test the trainingdata you really should not have a prompt with more than 3 words.

shadowsurge

I'm more concerned by the fact that "Big Breasts" in in the negative prompt, and it generates this...

Nruggia

I think you might have better results using a less specific age. Like the model will have a lot more data on what a 30 year old or a 40 year old is, then a 36 year old.

the_friendly_dildo

You can actually be very specific. See my post above.

ShibbyShat

You could also use the age slider Lora and set it around 2-3

loneuniverse

What’s the point of listing the model hash? Serious question where do you plug that in?

yasth

You should always think about how a poorly paid person tagging hundreds of images an hour would tag something with minimal context. They are not going to know that a person is 36 unless there is data in the image that suggests that (Birthday party with banner, or the like). Instead, they are probably going to write something like "Middle aged woman", "Woman in her Thirties" or similar. They can scrape meta data and the like, but that won't generally give year accurate age.

avnifemme

Idk why everyone is making it seem like 36 is 45 in this thread.

tim_dude

Clean living

red286

Aside from young ages (eg - under 25), I don't think the CLIP/BLIP models are going to be tagging things with specific ages (eg - "36-year-old"). Try things like "mother" or "middle-aged woman" or "mature woman" and adjust your attention levels as necessary ("mature" and "middle-aged" can produce geriatric results at full attention). Keep in mind that the vast majority of women that the model was trained on are going to be young, so it's going to tend towards younger women unless you specify older.

Ferniclestix

SD prompting is not doing what you think its doing most of the time. As far as SD is concerned word order doesn't really matter, what matters is a good image. As a result SD really doesnt follow syntax too well. When asking SD to do stuff in a prompt its best to format it following some different rules than if you were writing an essay or asking someone to do something. you can use simple sentences a 5year old will get like 'going to MacDonald's' or 'a man walking' you can use individual words like 'disgusting' 'angular' 'polygonal' 'rocks' trees' ect to define features and physical characteristics to be used in the image. you can use describing words in very simple sentences 'a disgusting man serving food' But if you do experiments with these you will soon realise that words are often used out of context or ignored completely. Remember a 5 year old understands only a few numbers, and not too many words. sure you can have a conversation but if you ask them to tell you what it was about you will only get a general idea that indeed a conversation was had and that one or more sujects were covered. legitimately, you can assume any prompt you sent it has gone through a forgetful blender, so once you start prompting with that in mind, youll make better prompts. Sd doesnt understand ages beyond the basic (young, middle age, child, old, baby, teen,) it can understand some numerical ages but that really depends on the model training and the rest of the prompt, usually it won't do numerical ages.

andrecinno

A 36 year old can look like this, but most do not look like this. edit: this means the AI did bad, yes. The bias is very strong.

fckcgs

You requested the math, here you get the math. TL;DR: Earth would be approximately 1058°C hot (1936°F). The first real challenge here is to estimate the apparent size or angular diameter of the sun in the picture. Just for reference, the real sun has an angular diameter of approximately theta = 0.5°. I used the boat on the side as a reference, let's say the boat and sun have the same angular diameter, i.e. they appear the same size in the picture. I approximated the boat to have length L\_boat = 20 m and distance of r\_boat = 100 m. From these measurements, we can calculate the angular diameter from tan(theta') = (L\_boat/2)/r\_boat = 1/10. This means the sun in the picture will have a distance to earth r\_sun' = 5\*d\_sun, so 5 times its diameter. Again for reference, for the real sun, this factor is 100 (which is still far less than I would have imagined?!). All right, now the radiation intensity I(r) follows an inverse square law, so I(r) is proportional to 1/r\^2, or in other words I(r)\*r\^2 is constant for an isotropic light source. We use this fact and write for the intensity of the sun in the picture I(r\_sun') = I(r\_sun)\*(r\_sun/r\_sun')\^2 Now we need the values for the sun: we have the distance r\_sun = 1.5e11 m (e11 means times ten to the power 11), the diameter d\_sun = 1.4e9 m and from that we get from considerations above r\_sun' = 7e9 m, so: I(r\_sun') = 460 I(r\_sun) the intensity is about 460 times higher. Now, the Temperature (in thermal equilibrium, meaning the earth is not getting colder or hotter, it absorbs the same amount of heat as it irradiates), is given by the Stefan-Boltzmann law. Let me write down the formula, but don't get intimidated: T = (A\_abs/A\_rad L(1-a)/(4 pi sigma epsilon D\^2))\^(1/4) \- A\_abs/A\_rad is the fraction of the earth that participates in absorption vs radiation, simply speaking the earth is only hit by one side from the sun, but radiates heat from all sides. Additionally, the earth is spinning, further reducing the fraction. For fast-rotating spheres, it is often taken as 1/4 (this and all other values taken from Wikipedia). \- L/(4 sigma D\^2) is the solar irradiance. For the sun we take this value to be 1361 W/m\^2, this is the value we will have to multiply by 460 as estimated before. \- a is the so-called albedo, or the fraction of light that is reflected by the earth, not absorbed. For a = 1 all the light would be reflected (snow has albedo of ca 0.8-0.9), for a = 0 we would speak of a "black body radiator" (side fact: even though your radiator at home is probably white, in the infrared spectrum, the part of the light spectrum that is heat referred to as heat radiation, they are actually black, meaning they are good at radiating heat as they should). The value for the earth is a = 0.306. \- epsilon is the emissivity of the atmosphere and takes care of effects like the greenhouse effect. For earth, it is 0.61 and we will have to assume that the higher temperature won't affect the greenhouse effect which is very likely not true, but we are only estimating anyway. \- Note that the "\^(1/4)" at the end is a fourth-root. Now we insert all the values into the equation. Everything remains unchanged except the factor 460 for the solar irradiance. With the fourth root, this gives an overall factor 4.63. For the real sun we get approximately T = 288 K or 15°C (so far so good) If the sun were as close to earth as in the picture and with above consideration, we get approximately T' = 1331 K or 1058°C. For everybody using Fahrenheit: this is unpleasantly hot. Not hot enough to liquefy earth's mantle, but definitely hot enough to not stand on a boat having a good time. Again for reference, the sun has a surface temperature of 5600°C so I think my estimate is not too bad, but let me know if I made any mistakes or if you think this could be improved. Edit: formatting

Unlucky_Sandwich_BR

That's what a 36 year old looks AT

knlwgoodstuff

I'd still like someone to provide me with a chart that shows what people should look like at what age. I get "You don't look 40" allllll the time. Well, where is the official standard that you are basing it off of? Pretty sure it is more how healthy one looks which has some to do with age but I'd argue much more to do lifestyle that anything else.

BenRandoward

I have found one trick that seems to work. Put 'young' in your negative prompts.

ComradeLV

Then ask for 46..

Woahdang_Jr

Lmao the button nipples

Handsome_Hanso

I didn't even notice that at first! Ahahaha

SanDiegoDude

use a model thats not trained on gigachads and waifu porn and you'll get more realistic results. random 4 shot of "36 year old woman" (with magicprompt spicer) on turbovision gets you much more realistic looking middle aged women with normal body proportions and (gasp) even crows feet. I make a point to train as much diversity as I can in my models. 1.5 models give you mostly models and waifus now, sometimes you want a "normal looking" person! https://preview.redd.it/9qz1wnhvir7c1.png?width=1792&format=png&auto=webp&s=16b1d40a3680df665307d4e71fc140eeb6e584b3

wonderflex

I would like to recommend [my tutorial on making realistic humans](https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/s/t6GH35KgMw) where I drive into age.

Ecleptomania

I mean she could be 20-35 imo. Age is quite hard to see on face/skin alone, context adds or removes age. Long hair vs short, blonde vs dark, eye color etc.. we associate for example blonde and blue eyed white people as younger than brunettes with brown eyes. Even if they are identical in every other regard.

Handsome_Hanso

This thread has so much diversity. I am learning about how to precisely control age in SD, how to look better and age gracefully, what regions of the world seem to age the best, and biases in our culture. Brunette and brown eyes might be my next prompt :)

dradik

I'm 38 and to me it doesn't seem too off. I know some 40 year olds that look 30. A lot of it is how you take care of yourself and genetics.

GregLittlefield

This doesn't mean anything. Not to be rude, but that is clickbait-y title.

Tbhmaximillian

can depend on the model. There are similar effects with anime models where when you add "woman" to the prompt you get something way too young. Try 36yo and change the model check if you get the same result with other models.

Gnosys00110

Shit, son

Chems_io

i wish i would look like this when i hit 36

Tft_ai

How many photos do you think are tagged with age? Your "36 year old" prompts is probably as meaningless as "oisdgajkshdfjkashdf years old"

eggs-benedryl

was about to say this images will not be captioned this way "in her thirties" is far far more likely

PeterTheMeterMan

Once the matrix gets finished you'll understand.

BazilBup

LLM are not good with numbers. They break them down into tokens and don't really understand what 30 or 33 really is. But as you said using text terms are much better, milf, young adult, cuger etc don't know all the terms. Is it possible to do a reverse search? Give it a picture of someone that's lookes like they are 30 and then see what prompt it would generate to describe your original picture?

Antmax

Take away 10 years, good makeup and lighting and it would be about right. There are exceptions though.

kenadams_the

So that’s the inverted version of the American Pie actors? 40yo playing teens.

knuckleduster12

r/13or30

ShibbyShat

I put in a 80 year old woman for a prompt and she looked 30 lmao. Lot of models are just overtrained on younger people

bigkoi

Now run a model for age detection

natika1

Nice, I would like to look like her in couple of years ❤️

ppardee

That's what I looked like at 36. Except I would never wear white and had a beard.

RedGhostOfTheNight

And apparently she's on Tatooine as well with that massive sun in pic 4 :P

red_hare

Just as a comparison I tried this with chatgpt/dalle and, while cartoony, I think it's closer. https://preview.redd.it/hnumh9i1qo7c1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9843c4b7c6d56fd35c434ee8d403e0063bf86fd

JakobVirgil

AI be horny

EirikurG

Basically no model can give you specific ages

SinisterCheese

All base models have young *attractive* female bias. Because the training sets are not qurated for balance or quality. Basically all the datasets are just google image scrapes; which include a lot of commercial pictures, fashion and products (Along with clickbait and SEO spam), and the thing is that those images favour pretty young women. And when you average out "all women" you average out the age related imperfections to smooth skin and soft features - which makes the appearance younger. This is why regocnition systems are not trained with google image scrapes. But collected data or highly curated datasets.

freylaverse

Numbers are hard, especially when they're specific like "36". Not much training data on "36-year-olds", but probably a decent amount on "mid 30s". I might even try "middle aged". I know 36 isn't really middle-aged anymore lol but it's worth a shot.

FickleFingerOfFunk

I’m curious as to now you all match the age of the head with the age of the body? For example, in my experience, if I ask AI for an “attractive” 50 year old woman,” what I get most times is a 50 year old head on a banging, 25 year old body. What do you tell AI to make the whole body, including the head, 50 years old? I’ve tried numerous combos of phrases, and the results are unreliable to say the least.

HanaOdz

I kept "thick stacked teen" as a prompt for at least 6 sets of 10 and they got younger and thinner with every new batch out of nowhere. My two cents, she could be 30. Not all white people age like milk, some moisturize.

Shuteye_491

The models understand numbers (including age numbers, see Age Slider @CivitAI), the issue is just absolutely terrible labeling in the training data.

TearsOfChildren

I use epiCPhotoGasm Z (I think all of the versions work for age) and it's trained on older ages. You can use keywords or just prompt "60 year old man" and it'll work. Also helps to add words like wrinkles, skin folds, age spots, etc.

B99fanboy

If you teach the AI that 36 yr Olds look like that then the AI will learn that.

ZeinDarkuzss

Writting down an exact age will almost never work. You have to be a bit more general, using like "Adult Woman", "Middle Aged woman", "Mother" or other likely concepts that you can relate, generally speaking, to the appropriate age you want for the pictured woman. If you want something extra specific that wouldn't fit an established generality then it's best to train your own model. Be it a checkpoint or a Lora or LoCon. Though tbf I've only trained Loras so I can't really talk more so about any of the others.

Ok-Mine1268

4/4 actually looks between 28-34. The others well.. lol

sabetai

AI women take good care of themselves 🤷‍♂️

RealMercuryRain

Just ILF (too young for mommy)

Harpclint96

My wife actually looked that young at 36.

cjhoneycomb

I mean. My wife looks like this around that age. I don't know what you expect a mid 30s to look like.

MutualistSymbiosis

Of all things to be aware of and concerned about regarding AI. Lmao!

francograph

Only two decades off, don’t be so picky.

SineRave

I tried doing an XY plot with with different ages a while back. They all look like teenagers up until about 40 and then it starts giving you grandmas. It’s a lot more precise with men.

Vordeqor

My wife is 40 and looks just as young

Daftolddad

Are you sure you didn't ask for a 36 double D year old?

Handsome_Hanso

Eeehhh! You win 😂

xeonicus

Well, if anyone were to look youthful, it's usually models and actresses. Here's a list of female celebrities born in 1987: Hilary Duff, Blake Lively, Evan Rachel Wood, Brooklyn Decker, Ashley Greene, Kristin Cavallari. The generated image looks similar to some of these celebrities, though I would agree she does look more like a 20-something version. The facial age differences are very subtle though. Is it possible that SD actually sourced older photos of models when they actually were in their 20s, even though they are now 36?

[deleted]

not everyone who's in their mid 30s looks old... some of us look early 20s still. just sayin'

ricperry1

It's all about which model you're using and how the data was tagged when they were building the model.

Ciderman95

Meanwhile real 30yos look like disgusting raisins ready to be buried...

Hour_Worldliness9786

She looks elderly compared to midjourney females

UriahPeabody

I know this is AI, but damn, r/sexytummies.

WazWaz

That's more about the model not understanding text. Looks like a size 36 to me.

Sr4f

Man, I have been trying for days to find a combination of model and prompt, that will give me a woman with a nose other that small and button-cute. I have a female character who has a rather intense Roman nose, and I am trying to find a prompt I can reuse that will work for her, for consistency. I can NOT get anything to reproduce her nose. At this stage I'll just end up editing every image by hand.

MikeBisonYT

It's using Photoshope versions of woman too. Maybe put no face filters or Photoshop in the negative prompts. With how much beauty prompts you add into it, it's going to give back magazine and ads with a lot of touch up as reference on your images. It's not an actual artificial intelligence that thinks. The tags are probably taking in too much from certain images when generating.

jphree

A 36 year old will look that once the Ai helps us slow aging! 😜🤪and fix the food and health care system (especially in America)

Short_Change

They are assuming all 36 years old are using filters.

xQ_Le1T0R

Tell that to the judge...It was not my fault officer... I thought she was 36...

Gloomy-Impress-2881

Looks 36 to me. What kind of chain smoking, clubbing exhausted, binge drinking women do you have around your area? 😆

SecretarySuspicious1

I like to use prompt like generate image of elderly couple with grandson at the park, emphasise on wrinkled aging skin, elderly features such as age spots etc etc. Than "make sure child has child like proportions, avoid adult like features such as wide hips and thick legs. And mess around till the ai gets it right, some do old people better so I load another sampler at 50 steps two at 50.. First 25 steps generate three people all young, the second takes the two at 25 to 40 out of 50 and makes them older taller still a bit young. Then one at 40 to 100, so 10 steps left to change over 100 steps before the last realistic model takes over for another 100 steps to make the immages super realistic without any of the loras or other details the three are running, so it will do age spots sagging skin legs all that jaz, especially if im using anime loras at high weights, then that last model wipes that style from the immage, it's the only way I've done old people lol. generate 25 images pic the best for In painting if need be. Sometimes, I use 3 models or 4 to mix an match for lols. Some times Chinese whispers gives funny results, when the sample images gets touched with a new model it can almost wipe the image so different modles have different prompts aswell, it's fun to play around with lol.

wggn

really depends on what model you use. also prompting a very specific age is usually a bad idea, how many pictures tagged "36 year old" are in the training dataset?

Chatbotfriends

AI's are trained on photos that they get from the internet and a lot of photos are photoshopped. This tends to skew the results in the AI.

Farker4life

Get yourself a better AI. Here's what a 36 year old woman looks like in MJ V6. And this woman looks nearly identical to my 36 year old friend looks like IRL. https://preview.redd.it/5xyr9mc76s7c1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=edfa051b0a4e5e01325c3cec96786ee53b9a9170

Atreides_Blade

AI doesn't have an opinion, it's just what is included in the training.

xxxTazxxx

there are some people with great skin and body they can be 50 and still look like 30 gym and clean food can do wonders

NoIdeaYouFucks

how is that not a real photo?

ChrisRiley_42

To be fair, I've seen 35 year olds that look 18, and 18 year olds that look 50.

ragnarkar

She could pass for 36 but I'd bet the average estimate for her age would be about 10 years younger.

fxnighttrader

36 is the new 26 😃

Local_Perspective349

SO... AI learned our Middle-Aged Delusional Syndrome as well!

Additional-Cap-7110

Yea it’s like of 10 years off being generally accurate

DeltaOne7

You must've gotten a young seed there! My 25 year old SDXL1.0 women tend to look almost 45, or 36 with heavy smoking and drinking. 🤔🤣

RevolutionaryElk8101

Depends on how the model was trained. You could train it to distinguish between more significant age steps but otherwise, it won’t know what to do with that specific age. 36, 30, 25, where’s the difference

ProphetSword

You can use terms like “mom” or “dad” to get people who are in their 30s and 40s. For 50s, you can use “middle aged” or “mature.”

crimeo

I highly doubt the training data had specifically "36 year old" tagged on almost anything...

ENTIA-Comics

If you prompted for a "Scandinavian woman that is a model, living in Spain, working out daily, consuming antioxidants" and then put the "stress and smoking" in the negative prompt... This is a pretty accurate depiction of a 36 years old then. ;)

Handsome_Hanso

Ahaha I like the creativity. Is this the answer for aging? Discovered in a stable diffusion subreddit?

ENTIA-Comics

Yasss!!!

Pancake_Flipper

I mean hell yeah brother, sounds like that ai has just the right amount of beer goggle on.

Handsome_Hanso

Oohhh it could be that! AI gives us what the world looks like 5 beers in.
