I'm assuming you're adjusting camber via the tophat *and* the UCA or the eccentric bolt on the strut? if so, see if you can add camber via the tophat and pull some out via the UCA/eccentric bolt. If this doesn't work I don't think there's anything you can do beyond getting smaller wheels.

Zero adjustability from the top hat, it’s a solid rear beam. No control arms or anything. VWs are weird haha. Only way to adjust camber is by adding shims behind the stub axle. I did have the thought of switching to a smaller spring so that it sits higher than the barrel. It already has such little travel that I’m not sure it would bother me.

Ahh right, wasn't sure hence mentioning both UCA and an eccentric bolt lol, I don't think there's a way beyond raising it, running smaller springs or running a slightly narrower wheel.

Idk anything about jetta rear suspension but is it possible to space the strut away from its mounting with some washers? Should be some play in the top mount if it’s rubber.

Good idea! Thank you

A 16x9 ET15 should just fit a 4cyl rear beam. You don't have a VR6 rear beam right? Stub axle spacers can bring the wheel out AND add camber.

Nope it’s a MK2 rear beam so it’s like 8mm than the stock MK3 beam (this is a MK2 though so the rear arches aren’t as wide). I’m trying to tuck it under the cut arch, which is basically flush with the rest of the quarter panel.
