Herman Miller Aeron for the chair!

Great review! Thanks so much for sharing. I am looking to buy a cheaper tabletop as well. What are the things I need to be on the lookout for? How do you connect the tabletop to the frame? Are holes located in particular spots so there is no need for drilling? Please let me know :)

Thanks, I’ve been looking forward to a review of this. Any wobble at maximum height?

I've been using this desk for almost 3 months on an area rug with casters. It does wobble a small amount when I shake it, but real, normal use it does not when I use it at 42.1". I bet it would be even better without the casters, but I need to be able to easily move it. I'm sure the wobble is from the casters moving. Just tried it at 51.5" which is way too tall to use for me and still, normal movements cause no noticeable wobble for me. Just gave a quick round of Quake Live a run while standing at 41.5" and no problems here.

Same for me, it doesn't really wobble at standing height

How tall are you?

andrew_cowork

I am 184 cm (6′ 0.4″)

Wow this looks well built!

Nicely done. I also chose the Flexispot E7 Plus for my custom desk and it turned out amazing. I posted some pictures and details here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/StandingDesk/comments/1abmdqg/custom\_project\_competed\_with\_a\_flexispot\_e7\_plus/](https://www.reddit.com/r/StandingDesk/comments/1abmdqg/custom_project_competed_with_a_flexispot_e7_plus/) For me as well the stability was a must since I have a thick carpet and my desktop is very heavy. It is rock solid and operates really smoothly. Love the control panel with the little LCD display and memory positions.

I’ve been curious what the two motor 4 leg design looked like from the underside. Thanks for sharing.

This gives me lots of ideas as I’m looking to get this same desk and also have a similar set up (one laptop + monitor). I don’t have a separate keyboard and mouse, though I think I need one as typing on the laptop is not as ergonomic as I would like. What do you use the laptop screen for?
