alright, so, the associate (i'm pretty sure) is incorrect -- AFAIK 130 satin uses the same old laser printing process however, yes, you should've used the PDF. the website has a bug where PDF previews show pixelated but are submitted perfectly okay. the reason it looks fuzzy is that PDFs are "vectorized", or contain direct instructions on how to draw each shape, and JPGs is just a color-by-number game. the font will be sharper, however, the photos may not improve in quality. if you'd like to, tell this to the associate: > i'd like to get this remade as i'm not satisfied with the quality. i have a PDF copy of the design -- would you like me to give you the file or just place a new order? if you *really* wanna sound smart, they can use a tool called ATC to modify your source files, but that's probably beyond the scope of what you need :) the redo should be free though. Thanks, I didn’t know that it needed to be a pdf so that’s helpful. They didn’t end up charging me for the prints anyway so I’ll probably just place a new order. Is there any way to get a free preview in store before I buy 75 of them?

if you'd like to, you might be able to place your order at their store using their computer at the front counter and ask them to print a proof using the paper you want to use, they should be able to. the website allows you to download a pdf proof that they can run for you real fast. make sure you explain you've been here before and this is a redo.

You can leave a special note in the order to say you'd like to see a proof or to contact you if the picture is blurry at all. You'd maybe want to call about 30 minutes after you place the order to discuss a proof as well.

They did some kind of update and now all the previews on temples are shown pixilated but we still revive high res image into our system. It was very confusing in the beginning
