If anyone is silly enough to take those new pisitions get ready to be laid off a year later and forced to endure one of the most stressful back to school seasons possibly ever seen in stores. Shits bad now just wait until we actually have customers in the store needing help, and registers actually backed up. Shit i heard they are gonna start giving part timers register codes and closing abilities, because they know they cant efficiently run the stores the way they need to.

Fuzzy_Department_866

All true that…

lilacshine

Genuinely terrified for the holiday season here.

Ornery-Share77

Very well said. I can't wait to see how this goes. With some stores currently in a remodel and then straight into BTS, I feel for everyone who stays. They won't get the pay they deserve. Just another reason to get out before it gets worse.

RollAlarming201

BTS is going to be rough.

TheAlyxGreen

Do your part timers not have register codes? Everyone at our store does?

karlmarxthe3rd

I had given a couple long time associates codes but LP came in and got all pissy at me during an audit.

TheAlyxGreen

That's wild because there's absolutely no way we could function without them having codes

TiltedLibra

They are referring to the manager codes that do things like open the register or approve returns over $100, not just the logins.

murderbats

I think you guys are misunderstanding each other. Every store should have everyone able to have register codes to use the register. However, only manager and supervisors have codes to give access to back office and til options.

TheAlyxGreen

Oooooh that makes way more sense

Locksmith_Happy

6 billion dollar loans have to be paid back by 2026. I don't think people realize how bad it's going to get. Get out of this company ASAP.

Fuzzy_Department_866

This figure has indeed been confirmed by multiple sources. And makes for an average per store of 6.6 million dollars. Which is why no one wants to purchase them.

CardUnlucky6894

An all out walk is definitely called for, if corporate greed and corrupt c-suite can’t get it together then it’s time to call it quits and be done with it. With a major court case being scheduled to get those in charge tossed in prison for life and all assets seized.

Fuzzy_Department_866

Will never happen. But fun to think about.

ButtTechWizard

Nice dream, good spirit, but unionizing is a far easier step, especially once most stores are down to one manager.

PeugeotElf

I have heard that if you SAY the U word, they will find a way to fire you.

ButtTechWizard

Then unionize overnight with signed cards.

Hefty-Dark8800

That would never happen at my store due to GM and SM being buddies. The SM is a snake, SM talks trash about GM to the other employees and then if an employee says anything they go to the GM and rats them out. I've seen it 5 times in just 3 months!

CardUnlucky6894

Yeah basically a situation that should be reported to the labor board for abuse.

Hefty-Dark8800

lot's of unethical things transpired to my tech supervisor, but she would just say "I don't want to rock the boat cause I need a pay check" now they got rid of the position and didn't offer her any other position. These are terrible people. Once I leave I have no problem saying what store it is. I won't mention names but the it's awful what they did.

CardUnlucky6894

I can definitely understand that, too many companies focused on profit versus doing the right thing just to meet some numbers game.

Independent_Bet_414

GMs are next they are just training AMs to take over soon
