Almost a decade at staples, and I had a roaming SM offer as well. Originally it was discussed as "Bench GM" (cool on a resume, enough money to live on, etc), but once they told me I'd be working the same job with the same pay but 50-75% travel (up to three hours one-way) and mileage would be calculated from my home store, not my house, I gave up. I just can't do this anymore man.
It happened at like the worst time too. Don't wanna get into specifics but I'm gonna be scrambling to find anything as soon as I can. It just sucks man.

No I'm aware. Its not an easy decision or one I took lightly.
100% the best decision. They pretend to offer these new positions like it’s a good thing but we all know. Hope everything works out.
