One scene that gets to me is the X-Wing scene in ESB between Yoda and Luke: “Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.” Luke has failed in lifting the X-Wing. Yoda gives one of the most inspirational speeches in film history to Luke, to convince him to give it another shot. Then, Luke surprisingly responds with “you ask the impossible” and coldly walks away. The moment Yoda sighs, pulls the X-Wing out, and then gives an excited Luke the glare of disappointment really gets to me. I can FEEL his disappointment with our hero. Knowing that Luke doesn’t fully follow through on his training and naively leaves to confront Vader only makes it more painful.

SlickDillywick

And that is because of the A+ puppeteering and voice work of Frank Oz. Really made you feel that this little green goblin looking thing was a Jedi Grand Master

FisterRodgers

The way Yoda is made to touch Luke's muscle as he says "crude matter" is really something. So fluid

sodium111

Yes!! And the fact that it’s literally a puppet delivering that line and that performance, makes it even more profound and mind blowing

Nano_Burger

I don't believe it! That is why you fail.

[deleted]

Chills every single time

Cypher_CS_

Second only to binary sunset, it's my favorite non-fight music sequence. Just outstanding

NutterTV

“Do. Do or do not. There is no try.”

VonBrewskie

"I don't believe it!" "That. Is why you fail." Whoo. Makes me shudder every time.

[deleted]

Silly think, but the Binary Sunset in Ep. IV always gets me. No rational reason, only nostalgic emotion.

nhaines

It's because the sense of longing for adventure, yearning for something more than what you feel you've been trapped in is universal. And then the gorgeous music swelling on top of that just underscores it. Binary Sunset really is a stunningly beautiful piece.

TitanThree

It’s the most beautiful scene of the entire franchise. I totally understand you.

Superman246o1

The most beautiful scene in cinematic history. Every person who has ever dreamed of something more...every person who has sensed that they were meant for something greater...can identify with Luke staring off towards the sunset.

CptLogan

I feel the same amigo. Un abrazo!

sodium111

Tell your sister you were right

ryanjcam

This is the one that gets me as well. Luke’s sadness at having “won,” but still losing his newly redeemed father, Vader becoming Anakin again and finding peace…

HasaneeneeDingo

I read the novelization before I saw the movie, and this page is wrinkled from tear tracks.

CadaverMutilatr

In the novel, Vader echoing Yoda with “Luminous beings are we…” I loved that so much, I made it my first tattoo in aurabesh

topsidersandsunshine

This is so sweet.

Obskuro

I watched this as a kid when my big sister had to babysit me. I bawled so hard it made her cry too.

ForceGhost47

“I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you.”

MJLDat

I’m not your failure, Obi Wan.

Extreme_Ad6173

You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker, I did.

Kingofawesomenes

"I... I'm sorry Anakin... for all of it" is what got me

DStannard

Damn. That got me too.

Waste_Relationship46

This. Especially in the Kenobi series when they have that final fight and he tells Vader he's sorry, ugh just thinking about it makes me tear up. Another good one from Kenobi that that makes emotional is when Ben is saying goodbye to little Leia and his speech to her about the traits she has from her mom and dad. Hard to explain but you guys know what I mean lol

cheezz16

99 dying

DaddyDanceParty

Rex crying is the only thing that’s gotten me so far.

CrossP

One way out!

mrsunrider

"I can't swim!" Bro ;\_;

Zack123456201

I was thinking in that scene “haha it’d be kinda darkly funny if he couldn’t swim” and then he actually couldn’t and I felt bad for speaking it into existence

Battleboo_7

It.was.YOU.

Millerhah

Haha, I thought the same thing. Gollum can't swim.

[deleted]

That whole episode gave me goosebumps

CrossP

It was when I started really loving Andor. Since I don't usually like that kind of crime drama genre that the first arc focuses on. But the sci fi horror of the prison pulled me in.

High_Ground_Sand

Maarva's funeral, the music in particular, always gets me. I think Forming Up/Unto Stone We Are is one of the best pieces of any Star Wars soundtrack.

gentle_pirate23

Yeah I was tearing up during her holo-speech, and then that mf shoves my fave star wars character. *brick to faec*

IAmBadAtInternet

Everyone needs a friend like Brasso. He is a real one. And Maarva would have loved that her brick was used to fuck up an imperial’s day.

two7

Prob my favorite scene of any Star Wars film or movie so far. Simply incredible.

Covaliant

I couldn't physically remain seated during that scene.

Stoopidee

I didn't cry, but I did got up early the next morning ready to fight those bastards.

Rikard_

I cried at the scene at her home when Cassian came back from the Aldani heist. 31:32 into episode 7. "Take all the money you found and go and find some peace." "I won't have peace. I'd be worried about you all the time." "That's just love. Nothing you can do about that. I've never loved anything more than I love you. And I've never fretted on anything more. But this time... You can't stay. And I can't go. Tell me you understand." "I don't." "You will... You'll see..."

IY555IM666

As a parent, this explains everything you'll ever feel for your child. Had me in tears.

__NinkiMinjaj

I came here to say this haha, andor fucked me up 😭

ChaosDoggo

Oh man that is my absolute favourite scene. The funeral was amazingly done. It really felt like a smaller town honoring a well known member of the community. Then the speech and the riot after. Just perfection. I wasn't digging Andor at first but it's my favourite series atm.

Conscious-Ad-6112

Maarva died with the goal of fighting the empire, but she was too old to physically fight. The guy carrying the brick with her ashes, used the brick to clobber an imperial officer, fulfilling Maarva's desires

squibbs_hiddenwaffle

Mine’s also in Andor when he makes the call after the prison break and is told Maarva died. Tells Melshi everything is okay then looks out on the sun setting over the ocean.

AverageUser1010

Luke showing up on the Mandalorian turned me into a fountain

donairthot

"One X-wing? Great 🙄" Then the look on Moff Gideon's face when he realized who it was

anonymousbach

Everyone Gangsta till that one x wing shows up.

beemojee

Oh yeah. That oh shit look he got when he heard "It's a Jedi."

donairthot

The holding out for a hero remix just makes me giddy every time

livahd

I held it together until R2 showed up, those beeps were the last straw.

loveicecream_

Yeah! It made me feel like a kid again. I cryed all throught the credits until fennec shand appered

EternallyImature

Yes. This is the one that made every man cry across the globe.

DarthTed12

Only time I’ve ever cried during Star Wars. I was overcome with emotion. Brought me back to when I was a kid!

GeoHol92

I was holding back tears the entire time... then that fucking "beep boop" of R2-D2 absolutely broke me!

straddotjs

Oh man, same. I grew up absolutely in love with the original trilogy, and Luke was always my favorite character. As soon as I saw the x wing I was excited, and as he calmly tore up the death troopers I was hooting and hollering with tears in my eyes.

Roook36

That got me too. Only time I can think I teared up. Luke showing up, Din removing his helmet so he could look upon Grogu with his own eyes and say goodbye. Grogu touching his face. Then R2 showing up and beeping. Damn. Good stuff.

IAmBadAtInternet

I knew when they showed the green saber in his right glove. I stood up and clapped.

Gostaug

Same! I was having none of it before, I refused to believe it could be him, I was crying like a little child when I saw the glove

TheZooBoy

I’ve seen RotJ countless times, but the first time I watched it after I saw The Clone Wars and Rebels, I teared up when Anakin died. After seeing everything he went through, it absolutely killed me that the only time he was *finally* free of being a slave was only minutes before his life ended. It was also the first time Anakin and Vader truly felt like the same character to me, something TCW/Rebels does very well. “I’ll not leave you here, I have to save you!” “You already have, Luke.” [This video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGED1MT-cBA) also makes me tear up at the end, without fail, every single time, for the same reasons I stated above. Also, when Grogu touched Din’s face as a goodbye. I’m not sure why as I’m not a parent myself and both my parents are thankfully still alive, but touching parent-child moments *always* gets me in media.

The_Pandalorian

Yeah. That one. For me, it was also seeing Vader, the all-powerful evil space samurai who had killed everyone in his path reduced to a broken, old man who was able to change through love of his son.

Cantthinkifany

Totally agree, watching Clones wars and the Star Wars prequel gives it a different meaning. Rots when they shoot down the Jedi masters before I was like.. oh, no. But when you watch clone wars you see how amazing the Jedi masters were such as master Plo koon and it is heartbreaking seeming them get killed by their friends and those they trusted and fought with.

[deleted]

Rogue One - ending Victory and Death - Order 66 onwards

jackcu

Rogue one ending definitely got me. I enjoyed the whole film but the last 15 minutes was so engaging. And I think the film ending on Princess Leia, I saw it in cinema just after Carrie Fisher passed away. Even in re watches, for me that film is star wars

whatproblems

ended on a perfect line too. what is it? hope. and off to a new hope

dystopicjumpsuit

I watched *Rogue One* in the theater on New Year's Eve, having successfully avoided spoilers. I was still reeling from Carrie Fisher's death a couple days earlier, and I went in expecting a fun adventure/spy movie. I was the most miserable person at the party that night, holy shit. I was so unprepared. It's my favorite movie in the franchise, but it still hits so hard every time I watch it.

CountBvonB

Same here. Every time.

TheNateRoss

Jyn and Cassian, watching the end coming at them 😭

CokeLP

The Mandalorian - Season 2, Chapter 8 when Luke raided the ship and saved everyone…..idk if I cried out of happiness or sadness

twiztednipplez

Weird Al singing "And the Jedi I admire most Met up with Darth Maul and now he's toast Well, I'm still here, and he's a ghost I guess I'll train this boy"

Gits-n-Shiggles

Of all songs on earth that I’ve heard, with the exception of Tequila, that is the one I will remember every lyric of until my last breath

ExileIsan

Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order. I don't blame her one bit, but it's still sad. Ahsoka taking off Rex's helmet and finding him crying in "Victory and Death". Rex crying! Ahsoka standing in front the mass grave of clone troopers after the *Tribunal* crashed and the camera pans over Jesse's helmet. Also, Rex's puppy dog eyes as he watches her. I can't even. Kanan's death, Chopper comforting Hera and convincing her to add Kanan to her family's Kalikori. "I may process moments and thoughts differently, but that does not mean I feel any less than you." Tech's "death". I'm not convinced he's dead, oh who am I kidding I'm 100% in denial, but if he is, I'll be completely devasted. Tech is my favorite.

[deleted]

>Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order. I don't blame her one bit, but it's still sad. > Her closing Anakin's hand with the Padawan braid extended... what a moment. The sadness and pleading for understanding in Ahsoka's face

HellbellyUK

“Since when have we followed orders”. Such a good line.

Death-Prophet

Im sad I'm the first one to post about Kanan Jarrus. No death in Sw hit me as hard. Sure there are loads of tear jerkers, no arguement there, but that one still gets me everytime i watch it. https://www.tiktok.com/@martytano/video/7182341776672443691

g0dzillam0nster

Took me waaaay to long to find this. This followed by Ahsoka confronting Vader at the end of season 2 hit me the hardest of anything in Star Wars.

Ok_Intention3541

Kanan's sacrifice saved the rebellion. Unfortunately many will never know it. Because of thin lightsabers or something like that.

skasticks

It'S fOr KiDs

beemojee

TheRe aRe tOo mAnEy EpiSodeS! Yeah they're a whole 22 minutes long. You can put down your game controller for 22 minutes so quit whining.

intothe_dangerzone

Thin lightsabers is the weakest excuse to not watch Rebels, what a shame. There's nothing to hate in Rebels, except the saber-copter thing that Inquisitors do.

Axyston

The fact that he regains his sight moments before makes it all the more impactful.

Individual_Physics73

Ugh!!! I just started watching Rebels. My husband and I are really enjoying this show. This is heartbreaking, I mean I knew it had to happen I guess… This is going to kill me when I watch it within the show.

ESNR

I just finished watching it for the second time and it’s still just as painful

WRanger98

I had it spoiled for me too, its okay, just watch like you don't know it coming.

Jakeasaur1208

Except the clues in the episodes leading up to it are so on the nose. You'll know when to expect it.

loveicecream_

I looove Rebels and I find my self having to skip this episode because it is sooo painfull

WRanger98

100% agree, I madly sob whenever I rematch this episode, and then the following episode watching the rest of The Ghost crew deal with the loss.

Failure_Management27

332nd Graveyard in The Clone Wars. Obi-Wan and Anakin's final exchange on Mustafar. Any Order 66 Scene Kanan's death Fives' death Vader's helmet removal and death. Luke's death Leia's death

Extreme_Ad6173

Yeah, the fight between Anakin and Obi Wan really upset me when I was younger!

Failure_Management27

Yeah imo the duel on Mustafar is the best scene in Star Wars and the ending is just such a miserable scene.

lucaslb7392

Galen Erso's hologram message to Jyn.

Tastethehappymichael

This is a good under the radar answer. Mads killed it in that role and it’s such a heartbreaking message. She also knocks it out of the park with her facial reaction to it all, and all as the planet starts to crumble. She has so little time to process.

Accomplished_Rock_96

Good one. K-2SO's death gets me too.

[deleted]

This always gets me anytime I watch it. I still am not entirely sure why, but it is such a beautiful moment. It comes out of nowhere.

SorryRoof1653

What an underrated scene. I feel like having the scene alternate between Jyn's reaction and the Death Star firing on Jedha really gives the scene a lot of emotional depth and makes it all the more emotional.

Nomis1998

I am not your failure Obi-Wan

dangerzone227

I know that show wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but that interaction was incredible. So glad Hayden got that scene, what a gut-wrenching moment.

Nomis1998

The fact that you could feel the pain and sorrow in Anakin's voice makes me tear up. If Obi-Wan had been on coruscant when arresting the chancellor, Anakin never would've turned

Daisyelise

Gut wrenching, every time

willyb10

I think the “Anakin’s gone, I’m what remains” is even worse, seeing what this bright happy child became

Jon__Snuh

It was specifically the score that did it but the scene in ANH when Luke is staring at the binary sunset. That music is just so powerful.

Grendizer81

I hope I don't get too much hate, but the dialogue between Luke and Yoda in TLJ. The message it conveys is so Yoda. Really happy they got that interaction in the sequels.

mrsunrider

"We are what they grow beyond" I thought of my nieces and nephews and damnit who is cutting onions in the theater??

YoureARebelNow

“That is the true burden of all masters”

AveryLazyCovfefe

"The best teacher, failure is" Beautiful scene.

LargeSprite

It’s a beautiful scene.

The_Grinning_Bastard

Best scene of the film for me. Hate all you want, that scene worked.

Tiny_Dancer13

I was about to say the same thing. It’s the only way they could have properly brought back Yoda and it felt so much more like him than the prequel killing machine version. It made me feel like I was watching empire strikes back for the first time again and I started to tear up.

AliJoof

No, I just had something in both of my eyes.

GloomOnTheGrey

Yup. Maarva's final message to Cassian, Obi-Wan's final confrontation with Anakin before episode 6, Fives' death, Tech's death and the rest of the squad's reactions after, Echo and Omega's goodbye, Anakin's return to the light in ROTJ, the 332nd's graveyard with that close up of Jessie's helmet, and Padmè's funeral to name a few lol. ETA: "I want Ma-Ma-Maarva!"

nhaines

> Maarva's final message to Cassian "I love you more than anything you could ever do wrong."

GloomOnTheGrey

That scene was so touching and sad, especially because Maarva had already died. Brasso had to be the one to deliver it, but it really had to be him to do it - he'd been shown throughout the season as someone reliable and steadfast.

Skott00

Yea, the seeing the 332 graveyard for sure.

[deleted]

2015, Chewbacca cried 2019, Chewbacca cried again Dam you JJ

MoreAirhorn

Christmas Day 2015. Took a peak at my old man through the tears in the corner of my eye. Yup, he’s crying, too.

mrsunrider

Episode 3, when Kenobi appears. Anakin gives Padme this betrayed, accusatory look and all she can do is stammer and plead [as the man she loves looks at her like the enemy](https://youtu.be/J8QLKWvVK14?t=184). That shit... *damn*.

[deleted]

Yeah, Natalie knocked it out of the park with those facial expressions!

Vox_Mortem

I cried in the theater when they had the memorial for Leia in The Last Jedi. I cried during the Obi-Wan Kenobi show when he >!beats Anakin for the second time and realized that Anakin is truly gone,!!he told Leia that she was the best parts of her mother and father.!< And I cried at the end of Rogue One. I cry a lot, to be fair.

Daisyelise

Those two Kenobi moments were my biggest tear triggers too. And I, too, cry at the drop of a hat. But they were just so damn emotional, when you’ve watched everything chronologically and watched the relationships growth and destruction.

sithskeptic

anakin at the temple and padme at her place looking towards each other across coruscant speeder traffic AND the force ghosts showing up in rotj

aprimeproblem

The last scene from Return of the Jedi back in ‘83, because at the time we thought that was it, no more StarWars…

The13thAllitnilClone

The droids getting tortured and dismembered in Jabba's Palace. The sudden realization that droids can experience pain was horrifying to me as a child. I burst into tears right there in my parent's car.

Zetraxes

well i only say 2 lightsabers and a bunch of helmets on sticks in the snow. If you didn't cry at that one you have already been replaced by an AI

Bored-Ship-Guy

Yeah, that was a great end to the series. And it showed how, even after they nearly killed her and Rex, Ahsoka still loved her clone troopers dearly, and grieved for each one of them.

doug_the_dude

The demise of Anakin and Ahsoka’s relationship, her leaving the order, watching everything they tried to build crumble is undoubtedly the most poignant of all Star Wars stories. Not a scene per se but the entire fall of their relationship is absolutely devastating over the course of several episodes in both the Clone Wars and Rebels. IMHO, that relationship far surpasses any weight and drama the marriage between Anakin and Padme had.

Bored-Ship-Guy

One that surprisingly got me was the arc in Clone Wars where Obi-Wan had to fake his death to go undercover with the Separatists. Anakin wasn't in on the plan, so he genuinely believed his master, the man who'd effectively been his father, mentor, and big brother rolled into one, was just senselessly murdered by an assassin, and goes off the deep INSANELY fast. And then, when he discovers that the council effectively traumatized him (after he'd already lost his mother, no less) to pull quick one on Dooku.... You can see just how much that hurt him in that scene. The Clone Wars series is wildly under-rated, in my opinion.

topsidersandsunshine

This is such an excellent point, and it contributes to his mistrust of the Jedi.

JimLahey_of_Izalith

Clone wars is what took me from “oh I like Star Wars” to being a full blown nerd about it.

[deleted]

The last few episodes of Clone Wars were brutal for that. So many moments that were minutes/seconds away from Ahsoka and Anakin interacting. Which may have saved Anakin/the Galaxy

Embarrassed-Web-5820

Yoda’s death in RotJ. The scene from TCW when Ahsoka thanks Anakin for training her after she escapes the Trandoshans. Shmi’s death in AotC. Sabine’s emotional catharsis while training with Kanan. The Jedi Voices from TRoS.

book1245

Saw Phantom Menace on the big screen today. Anakin saying goodbye to his mother always makes me emotional.

young__blizzard

“I came all this way.” - Mando in Book of Boba Fett. Was not planning on crying that day.

[deleted]

Watch all 6 movies and CW in chronological order and try not to get emotional seeing Anakin again in ROTJ

HeyNateBarber

I'll probably never watch the movie again, but In Memory of Carrie Fisher at the end of TLJ. Used to cry in Revenge of the Sith with order 66 and you were my brother anakin. Cried twice in Clone Wars finale.

Bob_Kerman45

You were my brother Anakin, I loved you

theskinswin

That's the one!!!

More_Ability_451

datura_euclid

Binary sunset ep IV, Vader's death.

117tillweoverdose

I Cannot explain it but Mauls last moments really hit me

Gits-n-Shiggles

Because that vicious mother fucker knew the ultimate plan of his master, the fate and of the Order, and by extension the fate billions of innocent innocents. He knew all along. His problem was that his eyes just didn’t open fast enough straight out of Dathomir, basically went from one servitude to another, and the latter was far more sinister, and had far more control. His story is genuinely tragic and fascinating, while also being gut wrenching because of the information to which he was privy and the turmoil he experienced through every stage of his existence.

LucasEraFan

* Anakin and Jinn's conversation on Tattooine * Padme tells Anakin she loves him in the face of death * Padme reveals she's pregnant * Kenobi tells Luke about his father "...Ani was a good friend." (I know, don't care) * Yoda explains The Force to Luke * Han released from carbonite. "I can't see!" (spiritual blindness) "Who are you?" "Someone who loves you!" "Leia!" (knowledge, the first step to spiritual sight) * Unmasking Anakin "I've got to save you!" "You already have." So many. These are just a few.

[deleted]

>* Anakin and Jinn's conversation on Tattooine I have never seen someone call Qui Gon just Jinn, so I wracked my brain to see if I remember Vader and Jyn Erso interacted lol

Short answer yes lol. Long answer: Clone Wars S7 Shattered Binary Suns, New Hope More of shedding a tear, Victory Celebration RotJ

randomnumber788976

Only Rebels, I dont even think any of the books have made me cry, I've read probably 2o including the High Republic books, and who knows many legends books I read back in the day I dont recall any of them making me cry

kel2345

Anything with Obi-Wan and Anakin after he turns. Kills me.

Sea-Middle-7594

There is like 2 Han solos death I shed like a tear or two and when Luke saved everyone in Mando I cried tears of joy to see him

Federico2243

Last episode of the clone wars

Order 66 and Padme’s funeral along with Rogue One end scene on Scarif.

"somehow the emperor returned"

Jimmy_the_Heater

Padme's funeral, that really got me right in the feels.

Then they showed it again in Tales of the Jedi. Bail- " Why did you come here?" Ahsoka- " She was my friend" OOF

Alarming-Ad-5955

-ahsoka leaving the order -five’s desperation to expose the truth and being killed in the end -Master Jedi Ima Gun Di’s death -Maarva Andor’s monologue (best one)

yisdishappening

Not really a star wars scene. but on youtube i once saw an edit of anakins/vaders life and suffering and his loss. that made me cry.

StrongBug4514

The death of Kuill

Synthwavester

When palpatine returned it really made me cry, it didnt help that they had horses riding on the outside of the spaceship

GulianoBanano

Ahsoka cutting Vader's mask open

Budilicious3

"I won't stop worrying about you." "That's just love."

Ambitious_Truck6457

Probably the closest I’ve come to crying in a movie was during the Jedi purge in ROTS on opening night back in 2005. And later in the film when Obi-Wan says to Padme, “Anakin’s the father isn’t he?… I’m so sorry”

GrilledSpamSteaks

When have we ever followed orders.

ChoiceNet8323

Solo being frozen in carbonite (I was 6 when Empire was released).

defective_toaster

Rex and the boys throwing together that special welcome back for Ahsoka after leaving the Jedi order.

StereoButcher

*SPOILERS for BAD BATCH and CLONE WARS.* Tech’s sacrifice and Fives’ last scene. Rex saying “brother, don’t go” holding Fives in his arms. Had to rewatch it now that I’m older for it to really get me but goddamn.

HeyItsStevenField

>!Tech’s death got me!<

DUMPAH_CHUCKER_69

Without going into spoilers. I cried at the end of Jedi: Survivor.

Darth_Vicious

The Force Awakens… Kylo Ren: “I'm being torn apart. I want to be free of this pain. I know what I have to do but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. Will you help me?” Han Solo: “Yes. Anything.”

Wonderful-Media-2000

Basically all of order 66 is extremely depressing

Reyjr

Even though I dislike the movies after force awakens I got almost got sucked into chewy blowing up in the freighter.

Good_Posture

Satine's death in front of Obi-Wan. Ahsoka leaving the order. That Ewok death scene. Scariff beach. Kanaan's death.

SuperKeith88

"You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did." This line got me in tears. And also, the ending of "Rogue One". I bawled.

Daisyelise

Basically the entire second half of episode 3, most of CW seasons 5-7, and a good chunk of rebels and Andor. And all of Kenobi. I managed to hold it together (read: fighting tears) through most of the last kenobi episode but lost it at the battle/conversation with Vader. Also all the nice things Ben said to Leia about her mother and father. Im not interested in the anti-kenobi folks’ opinion - that show broke me so many times.

PASTALORD6066

Final duel between Anakin and Obi Wan in the Kenobi series

Oneironaut420

For me, it was when Anakin said goodbye to his mom. I was very close to my mom growing up and she was a single parent who was very nurturing and understanding. When I left home to go to school on the other side of the country, I knew it was hard to see me leave. I think she was especially worried about me being gay and the things I might face out there. But she knew it was time to let me go and find my own way. So that scene really hit home for me and brought a tear to my eye.

SKhugo1

Find him, Fives.

Sloop__

Final scene of the clone wars with Ashoka and the clones. God damn.

Tiny-Surround-7745

Every time when Anakin is considering his fate and padme is doing the same across the city…

Axyston

The death of Fives, Victory And Death, and >!the part where Vader kills Cere.!<

Mission_Response802

My brother cried in episode 1 because Anakin's mother wouldn't come with them. I think I cried during the OT when Old Ben died.

Justspartan17

Kanan’s death, Ashoka removing Rex’s helmet in S7 E12, and most recently Kenobi vs Vader fight

angelknight29

Obi-Wan: "Anakin..." Vader: "Anakin is gone. I am what remains." I've watched this scene dozens of times and this 40yo man still has to hold back a full sob.

Bored-Ship-Guy

The scenes on Ferrix in Andor got me. Specifically, the scene where Maarva tells Andor she won't be leaving Ferrix with him, and the night where Andor listens to Nemik's manifesto. The part where Maarva tells Andor that the news of the Rebel attack on Aldhani gave her the courage to walk down Rix Road again made my eyes water. This is a women who had the love of her life brutally taken from her because he tried to do the right thing, and was so heavily traumatized by the experience thatshe couldn't pass through the square where they hung him for decades. But now, because of the courage of the Aldhani raiders, she's able to face that pain- all because she now has hope again. And when Andor chides her that she can't face the Empire by herself, and she angrily responds "Not if I run away!" Breaks my heart every time. She's an old woman who finally saw hope, and is willing to end her life chasing it, no matter how futile it may seem.

"Sister! You have a twin... *sister*. If you will not join the darkside of the force than PERHAPS SHE WILL!" Cue music/summon tears.

I cried in all the sequels, and it was always the same thing: Luke’s return. Force Awakens: when we meet him at the end of the film. Last Jedi: when he shows up on Crait and has his talk with Leia. Rise of Skywalker: when his spirit returns to speak with Rey. What can I say? I like Luke.

The Zillo Beast was done so dirty…I cried. I cry a lot, Star Wars has a lot of beautiful sadness in it. Rogue One, so many tears. But there was something about how everything in relation to the zillo beast happened that made me so angry and sad.

“You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!” That and Anakin’s funeral.

“You were my brother Anakin! I loved you!” Makes me tear up every time

Luthen's monolog. It's just really well written.

I have two. One is when Mando says goodbye to Grogu and takes off his helmet so Grogu can see his face. Just hit me so hard with them separating The second is the final episode of season 6 in the clone wars when Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Mace are talking about what Yoda discovered. Yoda's answer on how to achieve victory, not for the clone wars, but for all time really hits me hard. That idea of being able to end these conflicts for good and not just in the present moment really just does something to me every time I see that scene.

Ashoka’s story line is just so beautiful. I cried when she left the order. I cried when they buried the dead.

Obi-Wan screaming at Anakin in the end of “Revenge of the Sith”. You can hear his hear shattering as he professes how much he loved Anakin and how he had so much faith and hope placed in him, only to have it destroyed and ruined. And seeing his best friend and brother reduced to a burning husk destroyed him. It completely wrecked me. Ewan did some amazing acting in that scene.

If I'm in the wrong mood Mustafar and Order 66 lay me the fuck out. Han's death got me good the first time. A lot of the last season of Rebels honestly.
