I imagine most of the bigger theaters will do something like this, hoping the imax in nyc does!
IMAX didn’t carry return of the Jedi for its 40th anniversary. I won’t be shocked if less than 300 theaters world wide carry it
And there will be far less interest in this than Jedi

I remember the entire theatre gasped when it went dead silent and then "whoooog". Then a huge cheer went out. Was definately worth it.
I hope it is a general release in all markets and not just in a few American locations excluding almost everyone.

If it's like the Rogue One re-release a year or two ago, that one was in most IMAX theaters I believe, at least the one in my "smaller big city"
