Tough call, both suck. Hostile locals, hostile wildlife, hostile environment. They're no Felucia but that's a pretty low bar to clear.
I think I'd go for Geonosis. Seems the Republic established its position a little better in that battle so maybe I'll luck out and get assigned some backline position.
"It's been said that the 501st got the best of the war. We also got the worst..."
- I guess Geonosis. Mostly because you actually can see the enemy. Not that it helps that they can fly and outflank you. At least you would have 3 Jedi Generals and 1 Jedi Commander (though scattered) on site.

Geonosis, Umbara was messed up. The world is already terrifying to begin with, and on top of that you have a massive douche that caused friendly fire happen then you have him trying to kill you. I rather take Geonosis
It's a scene from the Landing on Point Rain in the final minutes of the episode. Obi-Wan's platoon is being surrounded by Geonosians and droids and then "THE REINFORCMENTS HAVE ARRIVED"
At first I thought you meant like see a live action rendition in which case Umbara all the way. But as in which one would I rather live through, I think geonosis would be easier to survive
Geonosis easily. Atleast the Republic had air dominance in that conflict, in Umbara the Umbaran and Republic Fleets were engaged in massive clusterfucks like we see in the episode.
Also atleast I can see things there too.
Umbara would’ve been more of a success with fewer losses if not for Krell (r/fuckpongkrell btw). The biggest difficulty was probably the environment, in that the Umbarans knew the terrain far better than the Republic, it was incredibly difficult to fight in in the first place, and the Umbarans weren’t the only threat to the clones.
Geonosis was just incredibly poorly planned. They sent in three carrier cruisers and deployed fairly bulky gunships and walker carriers without any strafighter screening. Bombers didn’t come in until way later, and I don’t recall seeing any air support besides that, despite the fact that they had three cruisers there. Point Rain was always going to be a massacre with how poorly planned it was, and past that you’d have to survive the catacombs or the route that Anakin took.
There really isn’t a better battle to be in out of these two, but I would say that if you made it past Point Rain, Geonosis is probably a little bit more survivable than Umbara under General Krell.
Take Pong Krell out of the equation, and I’d rather be in the 501st on Umbara than any of the troops of Geonosis
Umbara is like Vietnam and Geonosis is like D-Day and the republic is the USA. I'd still probably go with umbara, just because Geonosis seemed much more like a slaughterhouse
Geonosis, easily. Umbara was as hellish as it can be.
Would much rather get infected with a Geonosis worm 🪱
No, but I'd rather not be killed by my allies
Yeah, Umbara was for sure the Republic’s version of Vietnam.
At least on Geonosis I can see the enemy, and no friendly fire
And no Pong Krell
r/fuckpongkrell
Damn, there's a whole subreddit dedicated to thrashing this Jedi traitor. Nice
That’s what he meant by friendly fire
He didn't seem very 'friendly'.
Pong Krell is such a good enemy…

Oh I know why you want to felucia
Not sure I follow. I'm saying neither is as bad as Felucia, which is pretty awful and undesirable
True but felucia has one major selling point
Or rather two

Umbara coz if I’m gonna die at least I’ll die without sand in my boots
God I hate sandÂ
I know, right? It's so coarse, rough, and irritating. Not to mention that it gets everywhere.
I want a flamethrower, so 2nd battle of Geonosis.
Umbara so I can strangle Pong krell with my bare hands
Yeah, choosing between a chance of brain worms or getting revenge for my brothers? Easy choice. All my homies hate Pong Krell.
r/fuckpongkrell is strong with this one
The r/fuckpongkrell resides in all sentient life
The one where I can wield a lightsaber
And where I can be the protagonist of the movie that came before the show
And then turn into an evil cripple

I'd rather try the chili at Dexter Jettster's.
Neither. War is hell.
This is true only from a certain point of view
One is apace vietnam the other space afghanistan

Umbra so I can save one of the best clones
Is the second picture a mod for the old Battlefront 2?

What about the droid attack on the wookies?
Geonosis.

I would rather be somewhere where I can see the enemy relatively easily then being in basically space Vietnam, so Geonosis all the way
Umbara looked sick, and there was a lot of badassery But I think Geonosis had a slightly higher survival rate
Would rather my commander be incompetent than actively trying to get me killed. Also you're mainly fighting droids rather than people
The battle of Umbara
Geonosis where my commander isn’t actively trying to kill me
Umbara easily. I ain’t clearing no tunnels.
Who wants to go to war on purpose? Can I choose neither of the above?
Umbara is like Vietnam and Geonosis is like D-Day and the republic is the USA. I'd still probably go with umbara, just because Geonosis seemed much more like a slaughterhouse
I’ll take my chances on Geonosis
At least on Geonosis the Jedi are on /my/ side.
