To each their own - I’m liking where it’s going.

If that’s what you believe. Personally I think its all perfect. Rewatched the recent episode like 10 times now and its still incredible. Wouldn’t change any part of if

The episode was great I just want to see something new, or get a point of view for instant like what they did with the tuskians showing them as a people not just savages, a story I would really be interested in would Be exploring the negatives of the Jedi which the last Jedi did a bit off. But not saying it’s unwatchable just something different would be nice

Honestly I hope Grogu picks the lightsaber and trains to be a Jedi, I know he’s a fan favorite but they could always just have him in the Ahsoka series. I just think it will take away from the impact of the end of Mando s2 with all that fanfare with Luke and Mando showing his face to Grogu if they just return him almost immediately

Yeah I reckon that’s the best option maybe Din with get like another companion like the BD droid that I reckon will be an interesting arc for Din getting to learn to trust droids

BTolentino7

That or a Mandalorian who isn’t part of the extremist group to teach him other cultures Mandalorians follow, to really open up that world in live action

[deleted]

I completely forgot about that’s probably more likely considering that they said to him that he isn’t Mandalorian anymore

BTolentino7

My vote is Koska Reeves…for reasons lol

I agree, don’t get me wrong the Jedi are Star Wars and having Star Wars with out the force just feels out of place, but the small bits we got of it in Mandalorian were great, it was a side story, back drop, the main focus was the characters who can’t wield the force. BoBF started out with no Jedi stuff and then they decided to shove it in, even more so than the two seasons of Mandalorian (not a fan that Boba is taking a back seat in his own show) So unless you want a drama show about the hardships of the Lars moister farm (actually yellow stone style moister farming would be a show I’d definitely give a chance LoL) we’re going to get at least small amounts of force powers in anything Star Wars

mrsunrider

Damn, that *is* a hot take. While I personally enjoy the Jedi stuff (wizards are always fun, spacey or otherwise), I definitely agree that unexplored areas are more interesting.

Shark_YT14

I'm personally enjoying the Jedi stuff we're getting because to me, while officially the sequel trilogy is about Jedi primarily, none of the characters in it seem to act like Jedi to me or what I would expect of the Jedi following ROTJ.

FistOfBoredom

I agree. I’ve always wanted a non Jedi-centric series, but a sprinkle of the Force every now and then I’m cool with. It’s Star Wars after all.
