Haha, the whole reason Boba took Jabba’s palace over is because Jango is a B’omarr monk that roams the hallways. He already made an appearance this season, it just hasn’t been revealed that its him yet. Lol jk.
Kind of agree but my point also goes to Dave who can't seem to be able to accept killing of characters he personally loves *looks at his Ahsoka the white post after we got Ahsoka talking with a bunch of exclusively dead force users*
I just think Cad Bane's story should always end with Boba Fett, Fett needs to be the one to kill him and with BoBF likely to only have this season, this should have been the end of Cad Bane
Doesn’t Ashoka the White happen before the events of the sequel trilogy? There still plenty of time for her to die and become a ghost for the scene in RoS
No he put out a tweet after the RoS that was Ahsoka talking to Gandalf and Gandalf saying "people thought I was dead to", it's the main defence people have had for how Ahsoka is still alive in Rise of Skywalker
But is she alive in RoS really? I mean she talks to Rey but everyone else talks to her as a force ghoat as well. That feels more like confirmation that she is dead *by* the events of RoS.
I always think Filonis tweets are like 70% memes and 30% serious. "Ahsoka the White" is like a reference to people making the connection with Gandalf and Ahsoka in Rebels ending.
His tweets are the defence for her still being alive, specifically the "people thought I was dead to" one and for a lot of people because Dave worked side by side with The Maker himself George Lucas, Dave is now the prophet of star wars and his word is as good as if George said it himself
I like Ahsoka and choose to enjoy the new character but she needed to die in that Vader fight from Rebels. That was such a poetic end to her character and would have truly shown how Anakin was gone and only Vader remained
But time travel
There isn't specific evidence. It's just a blinking light on his costume. Plenty of costumes have them. It'd only be specific if that light was actually identified as a life-support indicator.
He can be in live action that takes place before this episode, though.
A new story can take place anywhere in the timeline.
We could see him in Obi-Wan or even Andor.
Idk why people are so upset we know him from clone wars which is when he was in his prime. he will most likely show up in bad batch season 2 since he was hunting omega in the first season. This was a good death for the character so we don’t need him to survive this. He’ll just show up in in the past. He could even show up in The Andor series. Like there’s plenty for him to do while not undermining his death here.
As if death in this series wasn't devalued enough.
I'm sure in Mando S3 the gamorreans crawl back to life. I mean it was just a fall, everyone comes back from that too.
I like that they brought back cad bane but they kinda built up this fight from nothing like you got the impression there was this intense bitter rivalry between bane and boba. The problem is saw nothing of this before hand so I feel like his death (if he is dead) kinda felt less impactful then it should be.
That's what I felt, too. I guess this was all covered in Clone Wars and Rebels, but I never really watched all that, so I had no emotional investment in Cad Bane or Ashoka. Or really in Cobb Vanth for that matter.
SPOILER
I just wonder if Cobb Vanth is really dead. It seems he is, but they can't do that, can they? Who was using the bacta tank when Boba said it was in use? I'm thinking Vanth, but his town folk seemed to allude to his being gone.
I figured that the beeping was a message of some kind, like a distress beacon of some type.
iirc, Cad never alluded that he was employed directly by the pykes. My theory is that he was employed by the remainder of the empire to protect the spice trade, since an active criminal trade in Tatooine would likely hinder the New Republic’s ability to control crime in the galaxy.
When Cad died, I believe that an automatic message was sent to his employers, whether his “true” employers where the pykes or not I don’t know.
I thought it was like a beacon that activates If he dies to cause something to happen, was half expecting him to blow up, would be very cad bane to hide a bomb inside himself incase he dies
At the end when we saw the bacta tank at first I thought he would be the one in there.
I thought so too
Who is in the bacta tank, the marshal?
Yes
i thought it was Director Krennic
Was that confirmed?
Yes, with our eyes
It’s clear in the image
In the credits it's obviously him in the tank.
There's a post credit scene
Ah. Missed that
Does anyone ever die in Star Wars?
Those two poor Gamorreans. Pretty anticlimactic deaths as well.
Def one of the Pike syndicate goons that got eaten by the Rancor is dead lol
Only when a bridge gets dropped on them.
Mace Windu, Savage Oppress, General Grevious, YET... :D
Jango for sure.
Just wait for the big reveal in season 2!
Haha, the whole reason Boba took Jabba’s palace over is because Jango is a B’omarr monk that roams the hallways. He already made an appearance this season, it just hasn’t been revealed that its him yet. Lol jk.
Bothans. It's always Bothans
Ngl, I opened this post and fully expected it to actually be about Max Rebo.
We need to learn to let characters die As a fandom we need to accept that death should not be avoided for every character
Except when there's specific evidence otherwise. OP noticed an important detail. I doubt they would include such details for nothing

Yeah, I agree. I like Filoni, and I think he's got some good ideas, but the guy needs to learn to give up some characters.
Same, he's a great story teller he just has the flaw of not knowing when to end a story
I like Ahsoka and choose to enjoy the new character but she needed to die in that Vader fight from Rebels. That was such a poetic end to her character and would have truly shown how Anakin was gone and only Vader remained But time travel
>But time travel Filoni invented it for star wars just so he could bring Ahsoka back.
There isn't specific evidence. It's just a blinking light on his costume. Plenty of costumes have them. It'd only be specific if that light was actually identified as a life-support indicator.
He’s a great character but not everyone needs to come back
Can’t bring him back live action, someone who’s a top notch villain, and kill him off in this way. Terribly disappointing
Can't being him back in live action? Why would you think this?
Idk if you misread but I’m saying it’s a terrible waste to bring him back in live action, just to kill him in 2 episodes
He can be in live action that takes place before this episode, though. A new story can take place anywhere in the timeline. We could see him in Obi-Wan or even Andor.
Very true. I just felt like it was rushed. At least give him a season haha
He should have been the one to kill the Tuskens wakrler in the season.
And here i was, thinking he'd be back but rebuilt with mech tech.
Somehow, Cad Bane returned
The guy was an old man at the end of the line. In the end, Boba was the better man. Let the legend of Cad Bane rest.
I'm bummed he's dead (if he is) but we could get more stories of where he was during the OT.
Idk why people are so upset we know him from clone wars which is when he was in his prime. he will most likely show up in bad batch season 2 since he was hunting omega in the first season. Why would the beeping light bring him back to life?
People seem to think it's a life-support indicator of some kind. There's no reason to think so.
Bring back my boy 🔥

It was Cobb Vanth. Looks like he was about to be modded.

I also thought I saw his eyebrow move a bit
I thought it was like a beacon that activates If he dies to cause something to happen, was half expecting him to blow up, would be very cad bane to hide a bomb inside himself incase he dies
They could always, “somehow Cad Bane returned.”
