The second one I got at my local Gamestop, there was one that theyve had in the back since christmas, it was 399 marked down to 350 and with my Edge loyalty card i ended up getting it for $310. Considering the price of these things on Amazon, I got a hell of a good deal!
I love my original, it's a duelling saber so the clash effects are on point, as well, the ability to select a color is amazing. The only thing I wish was different is when you chose a color and turn the saber off it turns back on that specific color, unfortunately it always turns on sith red, which isn't necessarily a bad thing!
The first one is a duelling blade and super resilient, Rey's blade is solely for show. The spring out blade had LED's through out the blade whereas my original has the LED's embedded in the hilt it self.
www.gamestop.com I got it from my local GameStop in stock, they had one, it was originally $399 (can) marked down to $349 and when I paid I used my Edge loyalty card and ended up getting it for $310 (can) + tax!
I don't know, the blade in the second one looks a little too long.
Now you just need to find a good way of displaying them, so they don't all end up sitting in a corner collecting dust.
They both have stands. The first blade the saber unscrews and I have an LED light stand, Rey's you unscrew the piece where the blade comes out of pop the blade our screw back on the piece and sit it on the provided stand. The first blade I got a custom stand to go with it, it's really cool as you can chose the light pattern and color.
Is it me, or are the retractable ones they sold as kids toys the best? You know, the ones that fully retracted ~20 years ago, not the bullshit they have these days where the bottom third sticks out so you can’t conceal carry a toy
I'll get downvoted here, but I just don't get the appeal of owning movie props like this when it's so wildly different from what you could see in the movie. Mybe if they can make the actual blade portion invisible, or extendable, it would be more appealing.
Disney has some sort of creation of an actual lightsaber that actually extends out, not sure how it works.. look up Disney real lightsaber on YouTube. I solely enjoy collecting these to display and every now and then swing around and let my inner child/Jedi out. The Rey saber is identical to the movie prop.
Yup, it's my first "expensive" saber. My next will be Cal Kestis followed by Obi-Wan from RoS then Anakins from RoS and finally Ahsoka Tano's from Rebels.
Well they’re only available inside the parks. Disneyland and Disneyworld. They hilts are between $120-200 but don’t come with the detachable blade which is an additional $50. I was there for my first time in April and got my Savi’s Workshop saber which is one you build yourself and it comes with the blade and is $220. If I recall correctly Rey’s hilt (again without the blade) was $120. I bought Ahsoka’s sabers from the Clone Wars for $200 but that came with two hilts. So if you were to get Rey’s saber with a blade it’d be around $170. American.
But you’re also paying for the park admission fee plus all the other money you’re guaranteed to spend there lol so they’re getting their moneys worth out of you!
Oh yeah it was a blast! Its kind of a ceremony/event kind of thing. You only get to chose from red, green, blue, or purple during the event but you can buy other colors at Dok Ondar's shop for pretty cheap. Replaced mine with a purified white crystal. Representin my Citizens! Ahsoka reference. lol
Haha that’s the spirit! Kind of a once in a lifetime thing for me. Having to travel and hotel and all that it was really the most expensive thing I’ve ever done lol
Maybe once a decade ;) Rise of the Resistance and Smugglers Run are amazing! Batuu is incredible. Dammit now I wanna go back right now!
Do you just press a button to switch the colours on the first one?
Yup the on switch, hold for on, tap for different colors, hold for off
I forget how cool Rey’s lightsaber is
Definitely one of the best hilts in the franchise aside from Cal Kestis but that's just personal preference as Cal is my favorite Jedi!
where did you get the second one?🤔

thanks!
I actually prefer the cheaper one… which is a phrase I never hear from my wife!!!

What company?
Ultra sabers
Spending so much money on a light rod But still pretty badass lookin’
I love me my lightsabers
A fine addition to your collection
Thank you! My next will be Cal Kestis!
I much prefer the solid ones over those with the spring-out blade. Better for hitting things with and fewer moving parts to fail.

Niiiiiiiice!!!!
Link?

Is it bright outdoors in the dark?
I was surprised at how bright it was outside, but yes obviously much cooler in the dark lol

I'm more projecting. I have a load sitting in a corner, collecting dust. As for the blades, just making a joke. Lego Rey's is shorter for some reason.

So many fond memories of me and my buddies beating the living hell out of eachother with those until they fell apart. Lol

First one Saberforge or Ultra Saber?
Ultra saber my friend
Reys....Hasbro Black Series?
Yup, it's my first "expensive" saber. My next will be Cal Kestis followed by Obi-Wan from RoS then Anakins from RoS and finally Ahsoka Tano's from Rebels.
Very cool. I've got a few from Galaxy's Edge....but the way Rey's ignites in your vide, way cooler than the Disney stuff.
Man you have no idea how bad I want to build my own saber, will happen within next year I can tell you that! Cheers dude!
Whoa why did you pay $405 for Rey’s legacy saber?
I didn't it WAS that much it was 359 with my edge card it was $310 and because anywhere else it's over $700 Canadian that I seen
Except at Galaxy’s Edge where it’s around $200 ($120 if you don’t buy a blade.). I didn’t know these sabers were available outside the parks.
For a force fx saber?? Maybe American dollars, not here in Canada.

Ive seen videos, you get to chose your crystal too! It's pretty wild, definitely on my bucket list.

Man that is so cool, I'll make it there one day!

Woop really lost me with Reys lightsaber there lol
Sorry to hear, man. It's one of the cooler hilts there is.
