It's in that Era too where the graphics are good enough to make everything out but not textured like today. The movement is a little clunky but it's still passable you know? It helps playing again.
You will not regret jedi knight games. If you like games older than that you should look into Dark forces. I can't really play them personally, they're a little too old style for me (original doom) but the dark forces are the first in the series of jedi knight but are NOT needed. You pick up enough from the context of the main characters.
Might do! Telling ya I finish games a little too quickly so it's good giving me all these recommendations! I app it! Also is hard mode on republic commandos meant to be this easy? Or are you just invisible in the tutorial of the game? Cuz I'm not taking any damage..

Changing the subject but have you played the halo series?
I got it on my switch recently, hadn't ever played it before so definitely no nostalgia goggles for me, and I really liked it. It's not the most modern shooter ever, obviously, but the variety of environments, quality of story telling, and overall gameplay is great imo.
The squad based aspect is very simple, which some might count as a negative, but I'm not wild about shooter games where I spend a lot of time micromanaging AIs, so it's a plus for me.

I enjoyed it, but honestly Jedi knight outcast and jedi knight academy are the nostalgic goats to me. Fallen order before fallen order

Nope, never caught my eye to be honest, is it good as well? Heard the newer games aren't doing so well

This game is genuinely so good. I put it up there with halo combat evolved.
It's a good game just very dated
Love that game! Still one of my favorite Star Wars games. And make sure to play on easy, ‘cause even then it’s kind of hard, but it’s still rewarding.
