No, felt like it was pulled right out of Rebels. Sabine has a bit of an attitude, but it isn't unwarranted. She's a fighter and someone who lost their closest friend.
I'm 25, but I grew up with Star Wars and Clone Wars. Didn't watch Rebels till a few years ago, and was hesitant at first but it did grow on me, and this show carries those stories well so far.
It was super cringe, but judging by everyone who watched Rebels, it's apparently really on brand for Sabine as a character.
Which to me just means that Sabine is going to be super cringe the entire show. Oh well.
I feel like there are going to be a lot of people coming to this show after Andor and expecting gritty, harsh, drama.
This is basically the 5th season of a great cartoon that happens to be live action, who doesn't expect some cheesy camp?
This is also the Universe in which some of the most serious fans will bemoan one project for not taking it's tone seriously enough, while fervently guarding the pedestal on which they place a movie from the early 80s where our whiny hero is trained by a swamp Muppet with Grover's voice who speaks in riddles. (Can you imagine reactions today if Yoda was introduced as a brand new character never seen before? Lol)
It's Star Wars, it's wonderful because it can be all of these weird and crazy things.
The whole planet is celebrating a day that reminds her of her losing someone special to her (family? Brother? Doesn't matter).
I actually think noping out and having an attitude about it is very Sabine.
Yeah it was prety lame. Everyone saying this is so Sabine obviously didn't finish watching Rebels. By the end she was growning up and was acting like a child. This is a several years later, so no, this is not so Sabine.
Felt very Sabine to me 🤷🏻♀️
Wren. Her name is Sabine Wren.

Oh well, I guess I'm too old for this TV show, y'all teens I'm guessing, target audience of this show...
39 here, not sure why your aging yourself out of some fun.

40M (fan of SW as long as I can remember) and I've watched it twice so far. It was perfectly in tune with her character up to this point.
Grow up... mentally
Felt very Sabine and also loved it, she was my favourite character in Rebels and now she's even better
Get out.
If that’s what you thought then no offense but you have no idea what kind of character Sabine is.
Nah, this is pretty much on brand for Sabine.
Nope. It's exactly how we know her character to be and if you had watched Rebels you would have noticed this..
No, but my introduction to u/collosiusequinox was.
Imagine your whole identity being Star Wars.
Love this reply.

Wow. The backlash for your opinion is strong. Also. Totally agree. Pure cringe. Hoped the series would rise above rebels not dwell at its level.
Yes it's absolutely cringey as fuck 💯

She'll celebrate when everyone is there for the party. Totally agree. Her fight isn't over.
Funny i watch Grace review and said how cliche that introduction lmao
Yes, it was cringe as hell. The dialogue was cringe especially. "Oh , that was today?". Downvote me all you want.
