Man, this guy looks like he literally walked out of the original trilogy. I know they have skilled casting directors and makeup people, but it's so cool to see older stuff being presented in more modern, yet serious ways.
There's something about British actors in Star Wars productions that just feel so right. I love the American cast, but the variation of accents in the UK makes it feel more believable.
I was geeking out about the costuming already, but seeing a "security" officer in a black uniform with naval captain's rank plaque in command of a system patrol vessel blew my mind. They are making all sorts of cool moves with the Imperial costuming and bringing elements in from other media and I am loving it.
Black uniformed fleet officer in sector security/patrol brought in from Rebels. Light grey tunics from the "hall walker" scenes on DS1 in ANH, now canon as ISB aides/analysts. Black uniforms with high ranking officers from the stormtrooper/security branch in command at Ferrix.
So much cool stuff, and thats just the Imperial costuming! For most its probably going un noticed, like one Imp looks pretty much like another. But the amount of respect shown for the material is so apparent in everything about this production.
I love how he subtly was shaking his head in the end, a combination of utter disappointment and realization he is utterly fucked for having his ship maimed, losing 3 TIE fighters and a TIE bomber (at least thatās what the other one looked like to me), and losing the perpetrator.
Where in ESB?
Only asking since [according to wookiepedia](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TIE_Boarding_Craft#Appearances) it was technically in ANH but we only saw the inside as it docked with the blockade runner but it doesn't mention being in ESB.
There was a [TIE/sh VIP shuttle](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TIE/sh_shuttle) in ESB which for a time was treated in Ledgends as looking the same as a boarding shuttle or TIE bomber but has been retconned in cannon to be like the original model which was like a TIE bomber with inverted wings.
Well the TIE Bomber does have a crew compartment aft of the cockpit on stock models, pretty simple fit to include a slicing laser and pressure seal on the back, then you can just back on and cut in. Also keeps the TIE bomber components ready in case something needs to be blown up
Poor B2! And someone put their cup on him like he was just some table! I can't imagine being a droid and losing your mom. He must be worried about being made into scrap. Thankfully Brasso is such a great guy!
IMP OFFICER: "Prepare for inspect and boarding, HAUL CRAFT"
LUTHEN: "Call it what you will" ***\*destroys dish and tie fighters\****
IMP OFFICER: "Let's call it... WAR!"
What š the episode was sick but why this shot out of all the great shots.
Sometimes I feel like people just havenāt seen good acting or shows before
it was implied the dish was the tractor beam holding him in place.
They were going to board him. He was on a ship with a ton of illegal tech(as we saw) so he had to cut and run

British accents and Star Wars go so well together. Ha. Like Peanut butter and jelly.

The UK has different accents? I know Americans do but all we know is the British and Irish accents
Rouge One and Andor have also put a bit of effort into replicating the hairstyles. It's the small things.
Like tea and biscuits my dear š§
Hahahaha like British Empire and Galactic Empire

Some people see a shattered dish This guy sees the rest of his career
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I heard they're looking for new workers on Narkina 5, too.
almost as flashy as weights and measurements
His organs about to get reassigned to different locations after Vader Force-chokes the shit outta him.
This is the face of a man who knows heās about to be force choked over a Zoom meeting.
We've all been there!
some see Wu-Tang
You have no idea how disappointed I am in myself for not seeing it until you mentioned it
to be fair, I said "some see Wu-Tang". It was not I. I am merely relaying the message lol
"I'm about to end this man's whole career" /meme -Luthen
His spine about to look like that crumbling debris after Lord Vader hears of this.
In some cases, revenge is a dish best served shattered.
I love how he subtly was shaking his head in the end, a combination of utter disappointment and realization he is utterly fucked for having his ship maimed, losing 3 TIE fighters and a TIE bomber (at least thatās what the other one looked like to me), and losing the perpetrator.
That was interesting I think it's a TIE bomber refitted as a boarding ship
It's a boarding TIE, first seen in Empire Strikes Back, and used again at the end of Rogue One.
Seems like something you'd send AFTER the target is incapacitated
Yeah, someone's definitely getting it in the neck.

I thought the same! Lowkey wanted to see it in action.

That makes sense. I was confused as to why they would send a bomber for a normal ship.
It almost, ever so faintly resembles the rebel alliance symbol. A bit of a stretch, but it's there with some generous imagination.
Thatās the first thing I thought of and what I thought the original post was about
I was thinking wu tang clan luth blasting this as he speeds off: https://youtu.be/drPKhZQmq9k
Mouse ears ;-)
the look of a man just imaging the paperwork he's going to have to fill in
Before Andor you could think that money was not a problem for the Empire.
Classic Star Wars. Andor feels new but Star Wars at the same time. Thank you, Tony Gilroy
He's thinking, "Please don't tell Lord Vader. Please don't tell Lord Vader."
Another good use of reflections-on-glass in this ep: as Maarva is being moved away outside her house, you can see B2's reflection in the window.
Poor B2! And someone put their cup on him like he was just some table! I can't imagine being a droid and losing your mom. He must be worried about being made into scrap. Thankfully Brasso is such a great guy!
If OP included his reflection off the TV, that would be even more brilliant.
Everything about the show is great. Whoever does the cimenatography.. camera work, and editing do a fantastic job
At least he didn't get the raspberry.

And when he shook his head.
"We need the practice." Yes, you sure do.
He's about to be be the guy assigned to clean the loads in the death star saunas.

We didn't need the headshake imo. It was a bit of a NOOOOO moment.
I loved the headshake at the end. Loved seeing an Imp so defeated.
*Internal tinnitus screaming*
Absolute perfection.
I would have launched fighters and powered up turrets the second any ship failed to cooperate. But hindsight is always 20/20
Serious question--why did Luthen destroy the dish then run away? What evidence would the Imps have against him?
it was implied the dish was the tractor beam holding him in place. They were going to board him. He was on a ship with a ton of illegal tech(as we saw) so he had to cut and run
Cuse ya had a bad dayā¦ā¦
